Lipstick -Milani - Fruit Punch Color Statement Lipstick

This is one amazing product for 5 bucks, actually at any price range. This is a new line of lipsticks just released this year (2013) by Milani. The pigmentation is great its opaque in one swipe over the lips, the texture is smooth and pleasant, its not the most lightweight of any lipstick ive tried but I dont mind that, I actually like to feel my lipstick on my lips so I can remember irs there and reapply and check on it to make sure its looking good. It does have a scent, which is a fairly strong watermelon scent that does not linger on the lips at all, I enjoy the scent so it doesnt bother me at all. Now on to,the best part, this particular color is a medium brightish warm pink if that makes any sense there are plenty of swatches online if u google the shade name. This color is amazing for spring and perfect with my dark hair and neutral to warm toned skin about an nc20 to 25. I havent tried many of the colors from this line but in my opinion this is a must have for spring and I can see this working on a wide range of skintones, def check this out for spring and summer, gorgeous!
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - colour riche eyeshdow in 840 snooze addict

Ok, well...I do have to say I am dissapointed in this product. However, and im not sure that i'm not just giving the company too much credit here, but the product is called snooze addict, one thinks of sleeping alot obvi. And i must say these shadows are quite sheer, the white give a wet looking sheen although not finely milled at all. The total look when using this product is one of an alert, well rested person. This will not in any way read to an observer as MAKEUP but will give u a rested, sheer shadow look. Now that being said getting these to transfer to the lid is a pain in the ass, be sure to prime ur eyes using a primer with some neutralizing color as these wont be opaque enough on their own to conquer the color of veins, circles and what not, i rec udpp in eden. But once you do, you will get a sheer awake and alert look. The very top shadow though is THE WORST. BUT having said that i just tried out a 60 $ bobbi brown palette whose highlight shade made these look like the best shadow known to man. All im saying is perhaps the company meant for it to be sheer, would I purchase this again? hell no, im not a natural look lover. Note i said natural not neutral. hope this helped

I actually really enjoy this quad, i think the colors are great all really pigmented except for the highlight color which is the matte cream color at the beginning of the palette. Its not pigmented at all and pretty chalky. But i remedy this but using the shimmery/glittery cream illuminator that everyone seems to hate which i did too at first but i found a way to make them both useable by layering the powder highliter over the cream one. It takes away the annoying glitter chunks in the cream and really helps the powder cling the cream and show up really well. I also really like the nude colored ”primer.” However i dont think this is a primer at all, i think its more of a base, meaning that this does creasd on without an actual primer underneath like Tfsi. I also really like this layered underneath my concealer and sometimes also use this as a lip primer. Thats my eyeball up above anx I know its not the best pic but I just wanted to show how pigmented the shadows are, I only used the shimmery bronze color and the matte highlight color. So u can see the colors can be sheered out pretty well or built up to be prettg dark like near the lashes and outer corner. Anyway, hope this helps!
Would i buy this again not no but hell no. My husband got this for me after i pointed it out and said id heard so many good things about. So imagine my suprise when i get my brand new fragrance baby home open it for that first spray and wait for the drydown.........and then wth it smells like BO!! What? Not possible so thinking omg is it me?!?! I jump in the shower get out and try again...and no absolutely not. Its my brand new full bottle of perfume. My husband hated it so much he threw it in the trash himself. Id still love to try alien though, maybe we will get along better.
There is absolutely nothing big and fluffy about this brush...wtf its the first brush ive ever purchased that hurts! Yes ladies this brush causes pain. Ive tried it as a concealer brush, a lip brush and eyeliner smudger brush but on the eyes and face it hurts too bad. On the lips its bearable.

Wow its amazing what your learn while reading makeupalley reviews. I would never have thought to use this as a setting powder for undereye concealer but dayum this works wonders, it def gives a Kim kardashian effect without the mounds of concealer that make me look cakey. Now I will say I am hispanic so I have to dust over everything with a more yellow toned setting powder but its amazing. Also after all my makeup is on I also use this as a highlighter its more subtle than a shimmery one so it may take some getting used to but def try it, I had to look deep to find these suggestions because as an eyeshadow its a matte cream highlight...big woop I have 30 of them. But give the other uses a try, and if u hate them yes it still is a great highlight shade if u care for the understated look.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Minted Rose Lip Balm

I actually love this product BUT when i was disappointed in it originally because i opened the pot and thought score! A lip balm that that will also give me a gorgeous watery red juicy tint! sadly tis is not the case, it applies clear, oh so clear. After reading the reviews here i thought maybe i just didnt see it, but nope def still clear :-( . But thats neither here nor there because this is a lip balm not a lip tint. The smell is amazing though, exactly like mint and roses. When applying though i smell no rose just the mint. Love the balm though i usually use this before bed and let it soak in over night and when i wake up i scrub my lips with a toothbrush and voila perfectly soft lips ready for my extensive arsenal of ls and lg i put my lips thru every day. Oh and ps as a child i fell victim to a family that looked at petroleum jelly as cosmetic duck tape...after nearly 18 yrs of being slathered in vaseline i can definately tell u ladies that this feels and applies nothing like vaseline, it also repairs my lips so much better than dreaded vaseline. Do not believe the eos, softlips, chap stick, and ugh carmex hype, this is the balm promised land for me.
I love the color of this and it is suprisingly wearable, I think most people just need to get used to seeing themselves in something other than nudes and muted pinks. For testing purposes I have put this on 5 of my friends, all with various skin tones and undertones. Suprisingly this color looked AMAZING on all of them, I will actually post a pic of all of us wearing it if I can find it. The texture is ok however I def think the application could be smoother, even with just exfoliated lips it still applies somewhat patchy and is not opaque in one swipe. But thats a very minor technical difficulty for a 98 cent lipstick...ill deal with it lol. The color however is not a dupe for rockin chick from the Barbie collection in my opinion. They may look similar in the tube but on the lips look much different and the Barbie lipstick has an almost duochrome finish to it on my lips. Just my opinion however. Good luck and happy makeup buying!!
Bronzers -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Bronzer w/SPF 15 in Bikini Contest

Omg five bucks for this amazing product is a steal. Its the most natural red toned bronzer ive ever used. The shimmer is noticeable in the pan but not on the face. Once its on it just looks very glowy and the red tone makes it look so natural like you were actually out in the sun not fake looking at all. I will say though that its not dark enough to use as a contour on my nc20-25 skin and its the darkest of the the 3 shades so if you are alot darker it may not show up too well. And as another reviewer said this looks amazing as a crease color, and the pan and amount of product you get is HUGE so I use this on my neck and chest to even everything out. I plan on buying backups for sure.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment

Really not much to say that hasnt already been said, the taupe is great for everyday wear (although I will wear any color anytime), I usually add a black base underneath just to intensify the color. The shimmery pinky golden beige color is great, I use it almost every day as in inner corner highlight or as an all over color on the one day every 5 yrs that I feel like going neutral. My favorite of this trio is most definately the dark brown with rose gold spadkles, its perfect as a liner, as an all over lid color for a smokey look and of course itz great in the crease. I do prefer to do a cut crease with this color though as it can begin to look muddy and loses the sparkles if its blended too much. All in all an amazing trio with a ton of versatility.
Uhhh I HATE this wand. While I do appreciate the attempt at being innovative this was a fail for me. I can never get to the base of my lashes because the big part of the pinecone tip pokes me in the eye and if I just try to use the medieval spiked ball think at the end I get NO volume, it reduces my outer lashes to 2 or 3 which is no bueno. I have very long lashes to begin with so what I look for is volume. This mascara provides a little length but no volume and beware the spiked ball thingy.
I have about a million and one uses for this pencil, so im suprised a lot of people hate it or cant find uses for it. First of yes u need a primer but... I put a primer under everything that goes on my eyes! Anyway the main way I use this is as a base under any eyeshadow that I want to give an extra layer of depth or smokiness to. Seriously play with this color on your hand put a sparkly pink, or a matte lime green or an ocean blue over it and you will see what im talking about. I also use this as an eyeline, not straight from the pencil because it is jumbo, so I use an angled eyeliner brush. And last but not least I use this as a very rock and roll dont give a sh*t smokey eye. Yes I still use a primer but this pencil has a nice sheen to it that looks lovely for that look and while I dont find too many issues with creasing whatever creasing I do get just fits into that look perfectly and all I do is layer and smudge, layer smudge and layer and smudge again, take the pencil and go underneath the eye and smudge that add falsies and voila glam rock in 5 min. Explore your options with the tools you have ladies, you may just find you love a product you once hated or that everyone else hates. Good luck!
Wow I can honestly say that I have never been this blown away by a product. Now im not a makeup snob or anything, I love drugstore and high end but really a bomb Kabuki brush for 6 bucks? I highly doubted it but ladies its true! Its absolutely true. This brush applies loosd powder like a dream. Specifically the elf hd powder, the bristles are soft and dense enough that it picks up just the right amount of powder. If you wanted to jse this with a powded foundation it may work if you want sheer coverage, I dont think the bristles are packed tight enough to deposit full coverage. However this is also perfect for blending out blush and bronzer lines. And I love the short handle it provides more control and extra buffing oomph lol.

I love this product for my brows, I have pale yellow/olive toned skin and black hair so I like for my brows to be defined without being too dark. This pencil accomplishes both without making mh brow look too dark for my pale skin, love it and its like 99 cents. What mor could u ask for?

Love the new packaging in the squeeze tube thank u baby jesus! LOVE this es primer. Love the color as it counteracts any discoloration on my eyelids so it helps the es show truer to color. This color will give exactly whats in the pan, a white will make es brighter and black bases lend to a more smokey deeper toned es. But this give u the truest color out. I used to apply, concealer over my es base to get this very same effect but im thrilled this eliminates this extra step. It is a little tricky to gauge the amounts at first to squeeze out but a tiny amount is needed over applying this product will lead to creasing of the actual base however ive made this mistake before and while knew the base had creased mh es still looked the same with no creasing.
