Treatments -Avene - Diacneal Acne Treatment [DISCONTINUED]
nenaden 3/8/2009 7:29:00 PM
I decided to try Diacneal in the search for a good treatment for mild facial keratosis pilaris (which are little pimples that look like whiteheads) on the cheeks. I tried urea, and other products meant to heal rosacea but nothing ever worked. Diacneal after a few weeks of use significantly reduced the pimples and now my skin feels soft like the bum of a baby! There is still some redness on my cheeks but I am used to it. The catch is that you have to use it every night, and if you stop using it for a while, the spots will come back, since its a genetic condition you can only treat keratosis but I highly recomend it. It also reduces the size of the pores and scars produced by acne spots. I say, give it a go!

Fragrances -Hermes - Kelly Caleche

Kelly Caleche is my second favourite perfume. I can wear it to work, to go out, to go to the beach, to take a plane, It works anywhere. It is not for everyone, it is classy and it smells like a field full of flowers but it can be to sophisticated for teenage girls that prefer to smell like watermelon and clinique happy. Therefore since its a fragrance from Hermes, which translates into expensive class and sophistication, well younger girls are kinda out of the market unless they are incredibly sophisticated. I got a miniature version of it when I purchased it last summer in London and a lot of people ask me what im wearing because they think its yummy.

Moisturizers -LUSH - Paradise Regained
nenaden 3/8/2009 7:12:00 PM
I have to disagree with some girls who think it leaves a film. Yes it can be a little bit thick on application but it sinks in quickly and leaves skin soft and moist. Its natural ingredientes (if anyone knows something about cosmetic dermatology) respect skin and protect it from sun damage and pollutants. It has a high content of green tea extract on it which has been publish on a journal of dermatology to be one of the best skin antioxidants, so maybe instead of complaining for its richness you girls should give it a shot... This cream used in combination of a retinol containing night time moisturizer (like diacneal or ystheal from avene) will keep your skin radiant, young and glowing for a long time. The only problem is that if you take the product to a warm country it will basically go bad, and for higiene purposes it should come in a tube or a pump bottle. I love it and it keeps my skin looking lovely!

Fragrances -Creed - Spring Flower

I got this on xmas last year to reat myself as I was in London on my own. I was looking at perfumes in Selfridges and the sales lady suggested Spring flower for me. I sprayed spring flower in one hand and love in white on the other. I went to work and at the end of the day spring flower turned into the loveliest scent ever. I bought it the next day and wore it for my first day with my current boyfriend. I kept using it often and then one day he said in a pub... "Darling, you smell so gorgeous, what perfume are you wearing? Its absolutely yummy" I agree with him, its amazing and in lasts a long time in my skin. Maybe it is due to my pH but it really lasts on my skin. I can't wait to get love in white for the summer in London

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Good-bye Cellulite
nenaden 8/21/2008 10:09:00 PM
I like most girls in the world have tried and tested many anti-cellulite creams and I guess that the best results I have gotten so far are with the Vichy lyposine and after wasting money on 2 bottles of this Nivea thing (which I found absolutely useless) I went back to Vichy and purchased the new version of lyposine: lipo-metric, I will update my review if I see good results. My advice is don't waste your money on cheap treatments, instead save a little bit more and buy a good one!
