Toners -Mario Badescu - Glycolic Acid Toner

UM WOW. I bought this along the Mario Badescu Enzyme Gel Cleanser on April 7th and it's almost a month later and my skin is the best it's looked...ever. I definitely think that these products really complement each other, so I would really consider trying out both if you're interested in this toner. So the first week I had these products I washed my face with the cleanser both in the morning and before bed and then would follow with the glycolic acid toner. However, it did dry out my skin and I figured it wasn't really necessary. So then what I did was at night: take off makeup with makeup remover wipes and then follow with the enzyme gel cleanser, moisturizer. And then in the morning: after showering (not using cleanser or anything, just literally washing my face with water) use the glycolic acid toner with a cotton ball all over my face and neck. The toner leaves a slightly sticky or slimy residue directly after it's applied but it goes away after it dries completely. And after it is completely dried and has sunken in to your pores I will go in with moisturizer. All the ingredients are natural and there are not many of them so I really trust this product. This toner has significantly reduced acne scarring that I've had for months-years. And I never knew what people meant whenever they would say their face "glowed" after using glycolic acid products but if I'll be damned, my face "glows", it's not dull and it actually looks really bright and healthy. I've been telling everyone about this toner and the enzyme cleanser. Changed my life. Haven't broken out in weeks.

Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Enzyme Cleansing Gel

LOVE this cleanser! I decided to buy this after reading some glowing reviews on this product and my skin was looking rough after having dance rehearsals everyday (sweat!) and having numerous tests (stress!) in one week. I have always suffered from acne spots but it had never been to the point where I have several at once. So when I found out that this enzyme cleanser had natural AHA's in it I was game to try it. I bought this at a boutique for $12 (8oz.) I have been using it for a month coupled with the Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner and what a difference in my skin! I literally noticed a difference in a week. So I don't use this cleanser to take makeup off (even though it can/does) just because I had an old bottle of the Purpose Gentle Cleanser still left and I wanted this enzyme cleanser to really work on treating my skin rather than working to take off makeup. I get just a dime size amount and work it into my face, it doesn't lather but it glides on really smoothly. Then I wait for about a minute, just letting it sink in, and then I get my Clarisonic Mia and really work it in. Afterwards I just rinse and pat my face dry. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and I sort of enjoy the fresh, fruity smell. Definitely recommend trying this!
