Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
ndoodles 1/20/2013 7:07:00 PM
The reasons why I haven't picked up the 8-pan palettes from WnW before were because I thought I had enough eye shadows already - and also I didn't like that there weren't any matte shades. However, there was BOGO on WnW products and of course, I just couldn't resist! After using it for a couple of months now... I have to say - you guys should all go out and get this! This is like a fool-proof palette. No matter how complicated or simple you want the look to be, this palette can do it all. Love the pop of greens to go w/ the neutral shades. Love that the shadows have a velvety texture. There is a bit of fall out so just tap your brush! The pigmentation is amazing - you would not have to spend all night blend blend blend b/c the colors are sooooo easy to work with! Finally - I was the only girl that brought eyeshadow on a trip so I shared my make up with the other girls. They were surprised of the quality of these shadows! Absolutely fantastic.
I am not a lip gloss person. I hate the way some are too sticky, some are too slick, no pigmentation, doesn't last long, etc. But this was the lip gloss that changed my mind! The shade I own is a berry shade w/ some shimmer (tiny specs of glitter). I love that I can't even feel the glitter and it is barely visible on the lips (I hate when your lip color fades away and all you're left w/ is the glitter GROSS!). This color gives me at least 30 minutes of shine and then it leaves a nice tint of color on my lips for 2-4 more hours. I love that I don't have to reapply this very often (WOOHOO!) and it is moisturizing and feels great on my lips! This is a lip product I carry w/ me when I'm going out or wherever b/c it is not a fussy product. Some people might not like the applicator but i like it more than the regular applicators. Yes, this product doesn't last 6 hours but I have to say that the combination of the way it feels, the color, and the decent staying power - I love this formula. Want to buy more shades!!
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara
ndoodles 5/28/2012 7:41:00 PM
I have tried quite a few mascaras just looking for one that would just give great looking lashes. I love love love that this mascara can give my lashes length as well as volume! And it is buildable with minimal clumping. Yes, sometimes it can cause clumps but it's nothing that can't be fix. It also lasts all day, does not weight my lashes down, and does not smudge or flake! The only thing is that it can be a bit harder to remove than some other mascaras. The best part is that it costs $3 at Walgreens. This has been the only place that carries Jordana in my area but I know they have an online site as well! I highly recommend you girls to try this - it is not gonna burn a hole in your pocket at all!
Probably one of the best quality for the price type of product! I mean, it doesn't work as well as UDPP but still works really well. If you are planning to do some crazy colors or major smokey eyes - I'd stick w/ UDPP... however, if you are wearing your everyday look to school or work - this will be what you are looking for! My shadows remained nicely on my lids and I see very little creasing and fading. I really like this stuff and since I use it almost everyday - I will repurchase this! Also, since UDPP is also a wand applicator - I am used to it. Plus it is in a semi-clear plastic container so I can see how much product I'm taking out. It's awesome.
I have this product in Taupe and I LOVE IT :D Yes, I would buy it again. Easy to glide on. Easy to apply. Easy to blend out into my brows. Stays pretty decent throughout the day. Best part is that it looks natural. LOVE IT! I'm slightly paler (but not by much) Asian w/ black hair just in case you guys are wondering and this shade works great for me :)
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
ndoodles 3/28/2010 2:34:00 PM
I have only used this product and TFSI so I don't know if this would be my HG... but I def. like this way more than TFSI! First of all, they both work the same on me but I think the formulation of this primer is way better than the TFSI one. It is more creamy and it allows a smoother surface. I think it has a better hold on the shadows too. I also like the wand over the tube.... but that's just me I think. Again, when I put TFSI on one eye and UDPP on the other - the results tend to be the same. I do still see creasing and fading... but overall, I think it has improve on the quality of my eye shadows. As far as HG status go - I still need to use the ELF primers before I decide anything. I think this would be great for oily lids. I def. recommend it as long as you are willing to pay $17 for it. Would I buy this again - only if the ELF ones don't work but as far as the reviews that I've read - I don't think that will be a problem.
Lipstick -Maybelline - Moisture Extreme in Windsor Rose
ndoodles 2/2/2010 12:01:00 AM
So I got this... and I think that it is okay. The color is nice but won't work on everyone because it is too cool toned. This pink fits in the category of the nude/mauve/pink color - kinda like NYX Thalia or Rimmel's Airy Fairy. However, those two colors make my lips purple - this one doesn't. It looks pink! But kinda fake pink and not natural enough for me. I love these Extreme Moisture lipsticks though! I adore the moisturizing effect and SPF15 isn't bad. I just wouldn't buy this color again.
I got this for blackheads and acne and it is for oily skin. Now I don't have oily - I have combination... so maybe that's why I'm not a big fan of this. I love that after I use it, my face feels soooo smooth! That is the best affect.... unfortunately it is the only one. It doesn't do anything for my blackhead or my acne! It has 2% salicylic acid but it doesn't help heal my acne - in fact, I think it might actually cause me to break out. But most of all, I was sad that my blackheads were still there! GRR!! Therefore, I haven't really touched it recently b/c I don't feel like it's doing anything good to my face.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara

This gives me volume and length but not in the OVERDRAMATIC way... which is really nice :) Not clumpy... stays all day... holds my curl... um... it's pretty good. The best part is - I'm pretty sure I got this for under $5! And I think I might like this more than Lash Blast. So, there.
This might be one of the best shampoo and conditioner pair I've used in a while. It gives me a nice scent, nice shine, and smoothness. Most of all, it is so hydrating! I don't think my hair has ever felt dry when I use this. Unfortunately, it is pricier than other shampoos and conditioners... so I might have to venture out to find others. Still, this is one of the best.
I've had this for a while... last winter I think - because my skin was so dry and was begging for hydration. This cream can really do that for me during the winter seasons. Also, it is great to use after you've used dehydrating cleanser or toner or something - stuff w/ medication (salicylic acid...) can dry out your skin. This thing really soothes dry skin and make it nice and smooth. I only use this at night because it can be kinda oily sometimes... not always. I wouldn't use this during the summer unless my skin is crazy dry. No, this would make me too greasy during the summer. I don't know if I'd repurchase. I like the smell, and the soothingness... but I think there other moisturizers that isn't as oily. It's a good purchase for those who are just getting into make up though - cheap and good for all skin really :)
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers - Tapestry Taupe

It's a pretty color. Very cool tone though so not so much brown but more silver. I like it - it's quite unique in my collection. Brightens up my eyes a bit. I think its a good color to have because it really goes with anything. Downside - you have to use this w/ a sponge applicator because that'll have more friction when you pick up the colors. It's really hard on the pan so a brush might not get enough color. That's all though - I don't know if I'd repurchase. It is really pretty but I think it'll last me a long long time!

Colors are outstanding! Great pigmentation! I'm not a smokey eye girl but I find myself using it all the time! It's really good. Shadows are not powdery and it doesn't give you a big mess of fall out. Pretty easy to blend.
Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Wetslicks Amazemint-Slaphappy

I love this gloss! It's a nice peachy/pink lip gloss and it has a minty smell/taste. It also tastes sweet :) I like that it is pigmented although not too opaque so you can still wear it over other colors. Not sticky. Makes your lips feel nice and moisturized. A little thing is that it's a bit runny... like it's more on the runny side than the sticky side... hope you understand. Overall, I would purchase again! And perhaps other colors too.
I love the color in the pot but it doesn't work well w/ my skin tone. It is too yellow I think. I think it works nice as a shadow base although my shadows tend to fade at the crease. Still, I like the packaging and the color and I would buy this again.
