Makeup Brushes -MAC - #187 Duo Fiber Face Brush (Stippling, Skunk Brush)

Ive had this brush for a couple of years (came in a set) but never really bothered with it. After looking at the reviews again out of boredom I thought id have a go at this stippling everyone talks about. I usually either use my fingers or a Bobbi Brown foundation brush. After applying foundation (cle de peau) I then have to apply concealer to a couple of scars I have from old spots. Well after stippling I gently went over my whole face in light circles and then went to apply the concealer - except I didnt need it! The scars were totally camouflaged. I thought this probably meant I was caked in foundation so took my mirror to a bright window to get a better look - AMAZING. It looked like I was airbrushed and that I didnt have any foundation on at all. It looked so much better than my usual technique. I am so impressed cant believe I was sitting on this little gem for years with no use.
Treatments (Eye) -Bobbi Brown - EXTRA Eye Repair Cream

This is hands down my favourite eye cream and I have used A LOT of the years. Im 35 and in my teens & 20s I LOVED the sun and sunbeds. By the age of 32 I had 2 big lines under each eye which were there even without smiling. I could barely wear concealer as the skin was so crepey & it ages me beyond my years. Thanks to this cream those 2 lines are gone and the skin is so much more moisturised its like its taken years off my eyes.I am so chuffed and what was once one of my worst features is now something that doesnt upset me anymore. Im on my 2nd pot of this and will continue to buy. I do like the glass jar if you keep your make up looking nice & pretty sat on your dressing table but if you travel they are a pain as take up so much space in your make up bag.
Hair Styling Tools -Babyliss - Ceramic Setter - 20 Roller Set

I LOVE these and cant style my hair without them now. I have long thick hair and I just put the large 8 rollers in and when I take them out I have a hairdresser looking blow dry. Even if I cant be bothered to properly dry my hair and just rough dry it so its still a little frizzy - I put these rollers in and it smooths my hair perfectly. Im going to buy the set of 5 so I can take them on holidays with me as I really miss them then.
Ive been using Laguna for years and just thought id give Casino a try seeing as some people have commented that its better. Wow - I liked Laguna but this looks so much better on my skintone that I wish id tried it years ago. For me it seems more pigmented that Laguna so I dont need to wear as much making it look more natural on me. It literally makes me look like ive been sat in the sun as opposed to 'wearing make up'. Im a converted fan
I really like this colour in the pot but on my skin it dpesnt do me any favours. It makes me look a bit ill. I cant quite work out why I think its the purples undertone.
Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross

Bought this a few days ago and am not disappointed. Its such a natural subtle sheen that I cant stop looking at my face in the mirror! I look like Im carrying a candle around with me giving me a permanent 'glow'. I have about 5 highlighters and this wins hands down. I look like ive spent my whole life eating nothing but veg as someone else pointed out it looks like it gives a glow from within. I also love NARS packaging due to the amount of times I have dropped my Orgasm blush and the rubber feel packaging has stopped it breaking.
I bought this just yesterday going on the reviews here & I am not disappointed. My face looks like silk today - totally even & smooth !. This is the lighest foundation with the best coverage I've ever tried. My chin is probably the worst area on my face but with this is looks perfect - no redness, good coverage without looking cakey. I will definitely repurchase when I run out but that wont be for ages. I actually like the pot as im not a fan of pump jars for some reason. I dont tend to take my make up out with me during the day so the jar is always flat at home so for me its ideal as ill be able to get every last drop out unlike some pump jars.
Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

This is now my staple I adore it. It is expensive but I get asked if I have fake lashes quite a lott. L'oreal Voluminous used to be my favourite but i think they changed an ingredient and it also got more expensive. I think for the extra 8 quid this is so worth it and the gold packaging is lovely. Ive bought this every 4 months for the past 2 years now
They have so changed an ingredient in this. My first bottle worked a treat and after 3 months of religious applying I had lashes that reached my eyebrows and I always got compliments ! I even went to a friends BBQ once and she greeted me with 'ooh get you fake lashes to a BBQ?'. When I run out I didnt buy anymore but soon saw the error of my ways when my lashes eventually returned to their orogiinal length. . Ive repurchased & am now 4 months in & nothing - no difference whatsoever. I read other people reviews & I think there is a difference between the old & new so be careful as its a lot of money to get no results.
I dont understand why so many people are looking for results from this. Its a treatment to PREVENT future damage not REPAIR existing damage. I think of it as an insurance policy for the skin so am unable to see results but will hopefully see them years down the line when I look younger than my age (hopefully). It does indeed smell of bacon though
