Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - New Improved Eyelash Curler

Overrated, IMO. It curls my lashes nicely, but doesn't seem to work much better than my $3 Revlon. It works a little nicer than drugstore curlers, but not enough to justify the steep price, IMO.
Love this stuff! like the reviewer below me, i needed it b/c of the name :)...its a champagne gold with gold flecks of glitter...so pretty! you can wear one coat for a sheer color or 3 coats for a more opaque gold color. I got it B1G1 @ walgreens.
LOVE this eyeshadow. it's silky, blends amazingly, great color payoff, lasts forever when used with a base/primer. I use it 3 ways:
1. alone on my lids
2. inner half of my lids w. blue e/s on the outer half
3. with black for a fun twist on the smokey eye

LOVE. its kinda expensive for drugstore, so i'd only buy it B1G1. this is seriously an amazing e/s base. i spread it all over my lids & brow bones. It creates a perfect silky base for e/s. It makes my e/s super blendable & loose pigments stick really well to it. It also makes my e/s last forever. This is def. worth a try if you're looking for a nice e/s base.
I really like this stuff. It goes on silky and it's completely invisible on my skin. There's no visible powder or chalkiness. It really does cover all of the shine, even on the tip of my nose--which is very stubborn. The compact is very classy & chic. It comes with a mirror, which is nice for touch-ups.
Downfalls: It doesn't last incredibly long. It has a slight perfume-y scent which doesn't bother me, but might bother some people. The biggest Con for me is it makes my face itch a little bit =/
I had high hopes for these & picked up the new Champagne from my Walgreens.
k so it's not NEARLY the lovely color i had hoped it would be. It's a chalky chalky color that hardly shows up on me & showed up as a chalky off-white on my pale friend. It has huge flecks of glitter that fly all over.
It's a pretty useless product, big nay.
[EDIT] i tried using this WET & it's a little better. it actually showed up on my lids. the glitter didn't fly everywhere, it stuck in one place. still nothing special, IMO.
Normal to Thin Hair Shampoo/Conditioner: No complaints. good basic shampoo/conditioner set. Not super drying/stripping, but not super moisturizing, either. Good for days when you just need a basic shampoo/cond. Smells nice.
Shine Spray: I have a love/hate relationship with this. It's easy to use and give my hair a nice shine without making it greasy at all. However, it reeks like alcohol/chemicals. After i use it, my bathroom stinks for an hour. An the product tends to float in the air and get in my mouth...tastes yucky :P
Style Primer: I REALLY like this. it's a pump bottle that dispenses a foam. Not thick like a mousse, but thin like a foam handsoap. It "dirties" up my hair with out making it greasy/dirty. I even use it on my roots. I like using this for pony tails, because it gives my hair more texture & makes it stay better. I don't even need to use hairspray.
These products are found @ Walgreens and go from $10-15, & sales are rare. It's a bit pricy, IMO.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eyeliner Gel Graphic Brown [DISCONTINUED]

Oh my goodness, i cannot believe how much i love this stuff! I'm so glad it fell into my hands via swap. it's an awesome metallic brown that glides on. the texture is so smooth and easy to apply. I'm usually not a brown fan, but i'm finding myself reaching for this more than my beloved Blacktrack. It lasts a long time too, even through a light crying-sesh. Would def repurchase (if it wasn't DC =((( )
I LOVE this shampoo! its amazing for being drugstore. i've tried a few different shampoo/conditioners in the past 6 months, and finally i found one that i really love. the shampoo followed by the conditioner leaves my hair so soft and shiny. It really moisturizes my hair that i straighten a couple times a week. It's light & doesn't make my hair greasy. My hair gets greasy pretty easily, too. The pleasant scent lasts in my hair, unlike other shampoos. even after straightening
Lash Blast brings my dark, long lashes to the "falsies" level. It darkens, lengthens, and thickens. The formula glides on with no clumps. IME, its fairly easy to get mascara on the bottom too. It smudges a tiny bit---i almost always get little dots on my brow bone. But like i said, i have long lashes. Pretty much ANY mascara would leave said dots. I want this to be my HG mascara, except it flakes =(. I have to brush off my under eyes all day. Also, sometimes when I apply this, it flakes into my eyes and all over my waterline. Ouchy. For this reason, i will not repurchase.
HG for me. I don't really need foundation, but I do need something to mop up the oil. This does a very nice job! Best translucent powder i've used! It doesn't make my face itchy like some powders. I apply it all over my face & it gives me a smooth, silky pallet for the rest of my makeup. It's not visibly powdery on the skin. The container is great and non-messy, I just flip my wrist & use the product on the lid.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

HG black eyeliner. Can do thick, thin, harsh, natural, smoky, Winehouse, anything. Mine's lasted about 3 years, and it's just starting to dry out.
I LOVE this stuff, its def a HG. I use it all the time as a browbone highlighter, a wash, or to blend out eyeshadow. On me, the color is a sheer white with shimmery flecks of gold and pink. I'd say it's neutral/warm. (I have a warm skintone, fyi). I tried using a cool brow highlighter today & it totally ruined the whole eye look. I brushed some Restless over it, and the look was saved!! I also like using this as a cheek highlighter, it looks amazing on my tan skin. It doesn't last very long on the cheeks, though. I wouldn't buy this full price, only BOGO and with coupons.
I give this stuff a thumbs up. It's a very nice light moisturizer that provides a little spf. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin, though. My forehead tends to be pretty oily, and I avoid putting this product there. Also, be careful about using this around the eyes. I've tried using it as an eye cream, accidentally rubbed a bit into my eyes, and it burned a bit. I'm not sure how this does for firming or wrinkles, because i'm only 18.
I really like this for a night moisturizer. It's pretty cheap, and coupons for it are easy to come across. It's very thick and moisturizing, and a little goes a long way. It does have a scent, but I like it. It also works nice as an overnight eye cream. I'm not sure how truly "firming" it is or if it does anything for wrinkles, since i'm only 18.
