Brows -MAC - Eyebrows Crayon in Lingering
rated 4 of 5

I've purchased Lingering a couple times and I like it a lot. It's a thin click up pencil and the colors is really great for my dark blonde hair. Light strokes and I can create a sculpted brow in seconds. Very user friendly.

Lip Liners -MAC - stone lip penci

Perfection. Thank you Pixiwoo sisters for letting me in on the secret! For the longest I had this love/hate relationship with lip liners. I have decently pigmented lips and I don't want to emphasize it. This make my lips look plumper, sculpted, awesome. I typically go for the pinky nude lip and needed the flatness of this color to achieve it. It also goes with every other color because of its lack of it. Use it lightly and it makes the lips look structured. A really perfect liner. Goes with everything. HG ladies. An unsung hero. Check it out.

Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen Creme Cup
rated 5 of 5

I remember when it first came out. My eyeballs were drawn to the pretty pink color and when I swatched it to my excitement, it wasn't crazy looking on my fair skin (N5). Love at first sight if you will. I've gone through many and stil love, love, love it. It makes everything look good. Polished, pretty, simple.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Snow Bunny
rated 4 of 5
nattygrace 1/4/2012 12:48:00 AM

I was first introduced to Snow Bunny by a friend because I loved the way her skin looked. So pretty. It's expensive, this is true. But it's not cray cray expensive like Chanel or something. I like the four colors, although they ALL pull gold, which is fine, just an observation. Lightly dusted on my cheeks is just enough to make my face come alive. If I'm in a serious rush I'll simply use this and it takes away the redness in my cheeks enough to give it a blended look. I favor that so for me it's a winner. It's fair to note that is shimmery, but in moderation it looks fabulous. And I think Too Faced is a fun and clever brand. Great addition.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 1/4/2012 12:22:00 AM

I only found out about this product from the blog (birdsdecoratebranches) so props to her for sure.. Lightscapade is a beautiful, satiny sparkly whitish (but not quite white) highlight and is gorgeous on my fair skin. N5 for reference and if you're asking yourself "why would someone with N5 coloring need a highlight?" Lemme tell ya! It adds the perfect polish to the skin... Really ties a look together. The sad part is its LE. So snatch it up if you see it. I like that is understated but noticeable. It's sheen blends well with a plethora of different blushes which is why I've come to like it so much and it stays in my makeup bag. MSF's last foreva' and the packaging is classic MAC. I haven't had any problems with the top coming off. All in all, great for PPP's like me.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Double-Extend Beauty Tubes in Blackest Black
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 7/16/2011 12:24:00 AM

I've purchased the beauty tubes a couple times now and people ask me often if my lashes are real. I really love this mascara and the removal is very convenient. Makes lashes look awesome. Volume, length, and black with no clumps. Would recommend and repurchase.

Mascara -Aveda - Mosscara
rated 5 of 5

I use Black Forest and I've noticed a great improvement in the thickness of my lashes. It can smudge so I'll put a different mascara on top of it. Overall I like it. It's expensive for a mascara IMO and I would repurchase bc I get a discount so it evens out. It's nourishing to the lashes.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Colorburst Lipgloss 002 Crystal Lilac
rated 3 of 5
nattygrace 7/16/2011 12:15:00 AM

I so glad to have come across this lipgloss. Crystal Lilac is a light cool pink, slightly shimmery. Nicely opaque and gives great coverage. Packaged in a sleek square tube clear on the bottom with a black textured cap. The wand is kind of this oval, flexible spatula thing, not a doe foot. I like the applicator a lot, never seen it before but it has wonderful control. It smells exactly like vanilla extract (the "I'm baking cookies and open the vanilla extract") It's not bad at all, I like it. For the price it's an incredible value and you get a lot of product in the tube. Very pretty and fool proof. I'd dare say HG bc of how much I love to use it.***EDIT*** and then it starts to do a weird separate gooey thing and feel weird on ya lips. It is not HG. A pretty color but feels off. :-/

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Blush in Blushbaby
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 7/16/2011 12:05:00 AM

I'm N5 and Blushbaby is a fabulous neutral blush. Goes with everything. Understated but noticeable. I actually found out about this blush by asking a friend what she was wearing bc her cheeks were so nicely sculpted. I'd recommend it to any fair-medium girl looking for a go-to blush for everything. I'm scraping the sides of my pan. Time to get a new one :)

Concealers -Laura Mercier - Secret Camouflage
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 7/15/2011 10:18:00 PM

I bought this and like many others returned it soon after because I couldn't get it to soften up and thought to myself "Self, you shouldn't have to make a product 'work' for you" so back to the store it went... alas I repurchased a few months later thinking I was going to give it one more chance and it's magical. I really like the coverage, the two colors so it will work on any area of my face. It's oil free and it looks like skin. A+ in my book. I have SC-1 and I'm N5. It's pricey but there's A LOT of product. Compact is big but not cumbersome. Has a mirror which is handy. Totally would recommend. Will buy again.

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush
rated 4 of 5
nattygrace 7/15/2011 10:08:00 PM

I'll make this brief since there's a bunch of reviews for this product. On my N5 complexion it gives a beautiful glowy look to my whole face. It warms up my face without looking orange or hot pink. Really really pretty. My mom got one too! Sheer but buildable. Lots of other blushes are similar but either way it's a lovely one. I think every girl should have a peachy pink blush in her bag. The color goes with everything!

Blush -MAC - Satin Blush - Well Dressed
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 7/15/2011 10:03:00 PM

Well Dressed is a light cool/neutral pink with a slight sheen. The sheen is not too much, I feel it does well to not make it chalky or blotchy. Gives my skin (N5) a pretty glowy dolly look which I love. I use mostly when I want to cool toned look. Would totally recommend and purchase again.

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Corrector
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 7/15/2011 9:59:00 PM

My coloring is (MAC N5, MUFE 115) I have kind of severe bluish arcs under my eyes that's hereditary. I've tried numerous concealers over the years that have left much to be desired until my MUA friend told me to try this and I've been veeery happy with the results. I can wear both Light Bisque and Porcelain Peach though I'm partial to Light Bisque (maybe bc it's summer idk). It's expensive $22 especially when you look at the little compact but really mine's lasted close to a year or more. I lightly pat it into my skin, don't slide it around, it'll just move and set it with a translucent powder. In my HG stash.

Highlighters -MAC - Cream Color Base in Pearl
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 7/15/2011 9:49:00 PM

'Talk to me pearl'! I am N5 and this is a BEAUTIFUL highlight! It's easy peezy to use. Use either a brush or your fingers. I apply to brow bones, cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupids bow. Every now and then I apply under my eyes (lightly) to illuminate the whole area. A real nice touch I say! Pearl is a creamy, ever-so-slightly goldish off white color. Pairs beautifully with any blush I use (Blushbaby, tenderling, Orgasm, well dressed). I've used alone and also with a shimmery powder on top too (Mac Too Chic, shroom etc) to lock it in place. Yes, it can collect particles (it's a cream it's going to do that) but mine hasn't really gotten dirty. If you want a pretty highlight give Pearl a whirl.

Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen - Creme d'Nude
rated 5 of 5
nattygrace 7/15/2011 9:29:00 PM

Creme D'Nude is a beautiful creamy nude lipstick. It has a slightly dewy finish and is opaque enough to cover my pigmented lips without making me look washed out. I'm fair (N5 ish for reference) and I loooove this color. I can use any lipliner to alter the color slightly as well. It's in the HG stash. Will buy again.
