Palettes -Urban Decay - Naked Basics

I really loved this palette at the beginning but now I’m undecided. The colours are a good accompaniment for my naked 1 and 2 but are also lovely to use by themselves. However, I tried them on a friend who has black hair, blue eyes and very pale skin and they totally washed her out. I mean, they barely showed up. I don’t think naked basics flatters every skin tone/eye colour. My main problem is that ‘faint’ and ‘crave’ broke while travelling. I thought the palette was durable enough to carry in my handbag everyday but boy was I wrong. The two shadows that broke managed to escape where the hinge meets and the inside of my bag and its contents were covered in a brown/black powder. I’m very disappointed as these were two of my favourite colours.

Palettes -NYX - Makeup Artist Kit S101

This is a great palette for the price. The case itself is professional, durable and travel friendly. This was my first NYX product and I was happily surprised with the quality. Beginning with the eyeshadows; they are versatile and there is colours to suit every eye colour. The colour payoff is excellent, comparable to almost all of the higher end brands I own. I use UD primer potion and my eye m/up lasts 12hrs+. The blushes too are excellent; there is a wide variety of colours. Everyone from pale to darker skins is catered for. The pigmentation is also excellent. I’ll finish with the things I least liked about this palette 1) the lipglosses; sadly unlike the eyeshadows and blushes the pigmentation of there are poor. 2) the applicators; these are also of poor quality, although this is probably irrelevant as everyone has their own brushes etc. This palette was a great find. I will certainly be trying out more NYX products in the future.

Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Cupcake

I absolutely love this. The pigmentation is great and it really last. It's excellent for my dry lips. Lipsticks such as MAC tend to leave my lips very dry. I will be definitely purchase many other shades. I love lipbutter, it's my favourite lip product at the moment.
