I have been buying this foundation for the last year or two and have never found anything that is so light on the skin and blends so easily. The lightest shade matches my pale skin tone perfectly but doesn't make me look like a ghost! It dries quickly so there is no heavy/sticky after feel. I would recommend this to anyone as it is great value for money.

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Boi-ing

I have always renewed my supply of this Boi-ing concealer (in the light shade) as it is the only concealer I have tried which stays put and is easy to blend into my own natural skin tone (it just takes a few pats with my finger and it seems to blend as though there's nothing there but covers the blemish). This is great for hiding dark circles under eyes too. I have probably bought this for the last 7 years or so and feel it very good value for money as it lasts for months with daily use. The best concealer I have ever tried :-)

Primer/ Corrector -Stila - One Step Correct

I stupidly fell for the lovely appearance of this product with it's funky three coloured swirling serum...I had used Stila products before and was very impressed so felt that any of their products were sure to be as effective...I was wrong. This serum doesn't seem to make any difference whatsoever to the tone of your skin, I thought that perhaps this would replace my foundation and give me a reason to avoid having to apply a false tint to my face, however, after using the product (couple of pumps applied to the whole face), there seemed to be no difference or coverage to any blemishes or pigment spots on my face at all so I still needed to use foundation on top of this. The point in this is lost to me. I prefer to wear as little product as possible on my face as I don't like my skin to feel sticky. Basically, this product is just pointless, although perhaps it would work for people with more severe skin problems?

Loose Powders -Laura Mercier - Secret Brightening Powder
rated 2 of 5

I bought this product thinking that it would hide dark circles in my under-eye area but was left bemused as to what it actually is supposed to do...there were no instructions that came with the product on the packaging or on a leaflet inside the box. I assumed that this was a finishing powder to brighten areas of the face in need of this, so swept some on my under-eye area and it did not seem to do anything and had the same effect that talcum powder would have - makes the skin feel soft but definitely doesn't cover any dark circles! I think perhaps there may be a special process to follow where this powder would create a lovely effect but even with foundation underneath, which should act as a primer, the powder didn't appear to do anything at all... I feel this purchase was a waste of money and certainly isn't worth £24 :-(

Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Supergoop Spf 30+

I bought this product from the Space NK website thinking that it was sure to be a good quality product due to it's high price and the credibility of the store. I was very disappointed to find that first of all, the cream smelled unpleasant and second of all, the texture was not as light as promised in the product description. Much to my dissatisfaction, this SPF cream actually caused my skin to sting and has made the surface of the skin on my face flake - obviously an allergic reaction. I do not have particularly sensitive skin and have used all different SPF creams as moisturisers and never had a problem like this. This was a sale item, however, when I purchased it and I think this is probably why. Would not recommend this to anyone, even at it's sale price (original price £25)!
