Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Complex 15 Therapeutic Face Cream

My dermatologist recommended this to me years ago when I had acne and was using retinA. It never broke my face out, and it's very light and good for oily/combo/acne prone skin. Now that I have rediscovered it as an adult, I will be buying it on a regular basis for me and dh, who likes it also.
This is a soft and creamy lotion that spreads quickly. I took a lippie away because I need to use a lot of it to get myself really covered, since it absorbs so fast. The banana scent is fresh and light, not sickly sweet or artifical and plasticy. I would probably buy this again.
Scrubs -Natural Esscents - Brown Sugar Body Scrub in Banana Parfee

I love this! Smells delicious, very much like fresh bananas and sugar, and is a good hearty scrub. Doesn't turn the tub into a slippy slide and the granules are easy to work with.
Scrubs -Natural Esscents - sugared shortbread sugar scrub

This is by far the best scrub I have ever tried. The scent is fantastically sweet and almost nutty, and lasts on me for hours. It's very thick and the granules stay on your skin while you scrub, they don't fly all over and become useless. It's very moisturizing without feeling like you are in an oil slick, and it doesn't leave oil all over my tub. Love it!
Treatments (Eye) -Yves Rocher - Self defense eye cream [DISCONTINUED]

I love everything about this product! It's very non irritating to my sensitive skin, it's light and absorbs well into my oily skin, and it has some light deflecting soft pink coloring to it which is great for me since I wear minimal makeup most days. It comes in a tube packaging which I prefer for hygenic reasons, and a tube lasts forever! If you don't get it on special, it's still affordable at $25CAD.
What I like about this product is that it's clear. Clinique makes a similar product that is cream colored and leaves little streaks sometimes if it's not perfectly blended. I can just slap this stuff on and rub it around and if it's not perfectly blended it doesn't matter. It helps keep my face matte for a few hours, but I have very oily skin and don't expect more than that from any product.
I have 2 pots of this, one at work and one in my traincase. It works well and I usually just wear a bit of this with no foundation, it blends well enough to get away with that. Since it's a hard formulation, I usually hold a clean finger on the product for a few seconds to "melt" it a bit and make it blend easier into the delicate skin around my eyes. Although I like this product, I am on the lookout for a cream formulation which would be quicker to apply. NW25
Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Gloss- A Nibble of Nuts-123
natalielane 11/18/2003 8:01:00 AM
This is a nice lipgloss, lasts quite well, usually a few hours on me. Since it's quite a light color, I find it washes out my NW25 complexion unless I wear it over top of a lipstick.
I got a large bottle of this in a swap, and although it's ok, I wouldn't buy this myself. It does smell quite a bit like a laundromat upon spritzing it, but the scent doesn't even last 15 minutes, and I think it's a waste of money. Also, I got a little red on the chest upon first applying it, although I do have sensitive skin so maybe that's just inevitable.
This is a great kit. Since it's described in detail below I won't bother to reiterate, but the colors are very wearable and neutral, all 4 of them. I love the soft black case with the mirror ad sharpener, and will be refilling it as I use these pencils up.
Treatments -Little Shop of Beauty - Hand and Hair cream

I love this product. It's a styling/moisturizing cream that you rub into your hair and then into your hands when you are done. It's great that you don't have to wash your hands when you are done, and it's a double duty product that moisturizes both. I have this in mango macademia nut, and pomagrante cheesecake. Both smell great, but the pomegranate is unbelievably tart, sweet, and yummy smelling all at once.
I use this almost every day as a leave in treatment before I add a bit of hair cream to my hair. It helps prevent that crispy look to my hair since it's colored and naturally curly and I don't bother to blow dry. I don't find the smell strong, or the product expensive. This is a definite repurchase for me.
I received this soap as an extra in a swap. It's softly scented, and lathers quickly. I like it but would not purchase because I prefer stronger scented products.
Lotions/ Creams -Scentual Pleasures - Soy Hand & Body Lotion
natalielane 11/18/2003 7:48:00 AM
I adore this!! I ordered it in butter lemon cookie, and the scent is divine. The lemon is understated and you can clearly smell the butter cookie. The lotion is very light and creamy and spreads quickly and soaks right in immediately. This is great for me because I can't stand heavy butters in the morning when I am rushing around. This product is a definite repurchase for me. Edit- what a bummer, I seem to be having a redness/burning reaction to this product.
Bath Treatments -Scentual Pleasures - Salt scrub-chocolate orange
natalielane 11/18/2003 7:46:00 AM
The first thing I noticed about this scrub was how it was packaged. I can't stand placing a big etailer order just to have my scrub oil leaked all over everything. SP erases this problem by double ziplock baging the scrub in a seperate cute little chinese takeout container. And I liked the smell of the chocolate orange scent in the scrub. The problem is the scrub itself. When I tried to use it, I noticed it was very oily, so I didn't even get wet first, just used it dry in the shower. Unfortunately it was just like rubbing oil on myself, the crystals fell all over the tub instead of sticking to my skin and exfoliating. It also turned my tub into an oil slick. I will use this up by keeping it under my sink and using it for hands only.
