Good coverage for a powder, excellent color selection. Good on its own and as a setting powder for liquid foundations.

Pros: -removes dirt -does not overdry skin -leaves skin feeling refreshed I use this when my skin feels like it could do without a lather

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

I don't have particularly oily skin, it's mostly normal but I like a matte finish. I tried this hoping it would be my HG foundation and I was disappointed. The color selection, the coverage, and the mattifying property left something- a lot- to be desired. I can find better alternatives at drugstores.

Misc Beauty Tools -Ulta - Super Blender Elliptical Sponge

This product should be on the top of Ulta brands discontinue list. (Save your $5 and get the SOHO blender sponge instead, love that one). These types of sponges are all the craze so I picked this up at Ulta to try. After dampening the sponge I found that it was still really firm, not spongey. I applied my foundation and realized it did nothing for my application. And I don't mean it was mediocre, I mean I could have used ANYTHING else and gotten superior results- my fingers, other sponges, a brush, a piece of paper, a plastic bottle- anything. I thought I'd give it another shot and upon using it a 2nd time it completely tore in half. No, I wasn't rought with it. Get the SOHO at Walgreens :)

Toners -Neutrogena - Pore Refining Toner

This is my first bottle of this product, I am about halfway through and so far,\ I like it a lot and do plan to repurchase. I've been using the 'teen' marketed acne toners for years but at 25 I figure it's time to try something else. I am glad I did. As opposed to other toners I have used it is more effective at clearing my skin and less drying. Good and good. I have noticed my skin to be a little clearer, and since one of the the ingredients is aloe vera extract I find it doesn't strip all the moisture from my skin the way clean n clear did.. oops.

Lip Treatments -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment for Lips

I have to always have some kind of lip moisturizer on, but plain ol' chapstick won't cut it for me. I can't STAND anything with paraffin/wax- seems like it actually dries my lips. The ingredients in this are superior to basic chapsticks, and it leaves my chronically chapped lips soft, soft, and soft. And smooth! :)
