Liquid -Prescriptives - All Skins Mineral Makeup 16 Hour Wear / SPF 10

I thought it was just me, when I starting reading the other posts about how this foundation caused their skin to break out as well! I know this foundation is the culprit, because there were no other new products in my routine. For a foundation that is mineral based, oil free, non-comedogenic/non-acnegenic I cannot believe the havoc this foundation has caused. Clogged pores, cystic bumps that I haven't had this bad of an experience with a foundation before...over priced garbage. Also the kabuki mineral brush that I bought from them is garbage too, hairs falling out all over the place. I'm done with Prescriptives...if you have sensitive skin RUN!!! :(

I thought it was just me, but after reading the other posts I realize this foundation is causing other people to break out too!!! I can't believe that a foundation that is supposed to be non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, oil free and mineral base can cause such havoc. There was nothing different in my routine other than this foundation, so I know this is the culprit, as it is with other MUA members. I'm done with Prescriptives, over priced garbage...P.S. the over priced kabuki mineral brush that I bought also is horrible quality, the hairs fall out all over the place. RUN :(

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Topix Replenix Green Tea Serum
rated 5 of 5

I have been using this product for quite some time & when I stop using it I notice a big difference. This is a fantastic light serum, infused with polyphenols, green tea that somehow lightly hydrates, calms, refreshs the skin on contact, gives a nice glow too. The effects are definetly cumlative, you have to use it for a few weeks to really see how it effects your skin. The change can be subtle, but over time it does increase the moisture content in the skin, calm inflammation, reduce pore size and provides maintenance against free radical damage, due impart to the polyphenols. For oily skin this may be enough moisture, for combination to drier skin types you would have to follow with another moisturizer, as this is not really a moisturizer but a treatment. There is a cream formulation as well, that would benefit drier skin, but I have not tried it yet. FYI- the site SkincareRx carries it, they have great customer service and quick shipping. This is a HG staple for me.

Everything has already been stated about this wonderful brush. It is a great, universal, multi-tasking brush that makes a perfect addition to a makeup brush collection. This brush has sooo many functions, that you can reach for this brush to do it all (powder, foundation, blush, bronzer, buffing etc. A+++++++++++++++

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - PureDeming - Intense Gels
rated 5 of 5

Upon wandering through the unlisted brand skin care treatments I stumbled upon the reviews for the Pure Deming intense gels and decided to try it after the great posts. The customer service, shipping is outstanding and so is the intense gel. I purchased the R-ala gel and the lactic peel and I'm very pleased with both products, they deliver instant results at an affordable price. I've tried a lot of professional products and they don't come close to how quickly the Pure Deming products perform real results. So happy to have found this gem of a skin care brand, thank you MUA!!!

Hair Color -Ion - Color Brilliance
rated 5 of 5
narsmakeup1 6/9/2006 9:23:00 AM

Through the years, I have used virtually every hair color brand on the market starting with store brand and having moved on to professional brands (Loreal, Matrix, Redken, Chi Ionic, Paul Mitchell etc...)and I have to say that the Ion Color Brilliance permanent hair color cream is by far the best!!! I was so skeptical of using this product when I saw it on the shelf at Sally's but after reading the brochure and of course checking to see if there were any reviews posted on MUA, I decided to give it a try. It is honestly the most gentle, conditioning permanent color that I have tried to date, even the developer is made for sensitive scalps. The colors are rich, lasting and most importantly gentle and non-damaging to the hair. I would highly recommend this product over anything available in the salon or anywhere else for that matter. Oh and BTW, just for reference I must say that of all the professional hair color lines I've used that Loreal is very harsh and the new Paul Mitchell hair color line that is bees wax based and supposed to be gentle is absolutlely awful, not gentle, hard to mix and horrible gray coverage...try the Ionic color it really is hands down the best on the market right now. The styling products and shampoo/conditioners are winners too! :)
