Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Spoiled - Pirate's Booty
rated 4 of 5

this polish is made and meant to be a layering polish. meaning its to be used as a topcoat for a base. i think this polish is very pretty if used properly. its adds a beautiful gold shimmer flakey touch to a base. its a clear suspension filled with tiny gold, bronze and reddish/copper/pink flakes. i especially love to use it for frankening. as with all spoiled polishes, it comes with the special mop brush but that isn't necessarily a bad thing if you know how to work with it. but i took off a lippie for that brush. i hate most of the spoiled names but i think this is one of the cuter ones.

Top/Base Coats -Jordana - Quick Dry Top Coat
rated 2 of 5
napkinz 6/1/2012 2:08:00 AM

i bought this as a cheap top coat so i don't run out of my more HE ones so quickly (i've been using INM out the door) but this jordana chips so easily :/ it dries super fast and is very glossy and shiny afterwards but the chipping is a no no. also as another reviewer stated, it picks up the polish on the brush which is not desired. the only reason i said yes to repurchase is because i change my nails like i change my clothes so this will help me not to waste my more expensive topcoats on a 1-2 day mani!

Polishes -Color Club - Fly With Me

oh oh oh this is so gorgeous. its a very warm green glass fleck with yellow undertones and a gorgeous gilded gold sheen. i bought this one a whim because i thought my boyfriend would like it (its the same color as his motorcycle lol) and i love it. its on the sheer side but is very buildable. 3 coats got me desired opacity and i could've lived with 2. it dries pretty fast, but i found that a top coat took away some of the shine, so i think i'll skip one with this polish. love love this, can't wait to wear it this summer.

Polishes -Color Club - Hydrangea Kiss
rated 5 of 5

such a beautiful dusty shade of cornflower blue with the slightest (and i mean slightest) touch of lavender/periwinkle. it has a vintage feel to it and i feel like it would look amazing on any skin tone. in two coats it was mostly opaque, but i did 3 to cover bald spots that i missed. it levels out well and dries relatively fast to a pretty high shine. i will admit that i gravitated towards this shade because hydrangeas are my absolute favorite :) but i am anything but disappointed. its a great spring/summer shade but could probably pass as year round because of how dusty it is. i have nothing else like it in my collection and i'm in love ps. i actually held my hand up to some hydrangeas my boyfriend picked me and it is the exact same color as them <3

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Infallible in Amber Rush
rated 5 of 5
napkinz 5/27/2012 12:27:00 AM

oh man do i hope l'oreal never discontinues this. i own so much eyeshadow. i mean......so much.....yet i find myself reaching for this the most. i have light olive skin and this warm peachy pink shade brightens my face and eyes so much. it compliments my dark brown eyes very nicely, but i imagine this would look amazing on green eyes. or any, for that matter. its so wearable. and the texture? i can't even describe it. its silky and buttery and unbelievably pigmented. i read a blog review of the l'oreal infallibles that describes them as "being the texture of a pressed loose eyeshadow" which makes sense and makes me wonder if thats why they have the plastic cover that sits on top of the surface of the shadow. also, some days i don't feel like using primer because i feel like conserving product. but i have very veeery oily lids. i can get away without wearing primer with this, i kid you not. all day long, and i got to wash my face and there are no creases and the color has only faded slightly. i think i might say it girls....this might be my favorite (or atleast one of them) eyeshadows.

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Glo Illuminating Powder - Catwalk Pink #345
rated 5 of 5
napkinz 5/27/2012 12:08:00 AM

this is one of the few products of mine that i have used down to the bottom of the pan. literally, there are a few crumbs left in my old one. i had a hard time finding them in stock anywhere but i finally found it again and repurchased :) i love the glowy very light pink it leaves on my cheeks. its not very pigmented, but it is most definitely buildable. i like to dust it over the entire apple of my cheek and blend it out as much as possible into my temples and down my nose. then i use a very light hand o apply a more pigmented blush to contour. i love this stuff, and i will definitely buy again and again. i also want to try the other colors

Eyes -Fyrinnae - medieval haunting
rated 4 of 5
napkinz 11/8/2011 11:59:00 PM

i've come to realize that i don't care for the shades by fyrinnae that have black bases (unless they are black shadows or very dark shadows) because i tend to blend it out on accident and get a grey mess when i want the beautiful gold to show up. so then i have to pack on more on top to try and cover the blackish gray that i didn't want. this is a beautiful color and very smooth and highly pigmented, i just don't care for the black based pigments as much and i find myself avoiding them :/

Eye Shadow -Fyrinnae - Arcane Magic: Velvet Vampire
rated 3 of 5

sparklebomb city. the color to me is like a muted burgundy that flashes silver sometimes with a butt ton of pink and red glitter. very, very pretty but im not so sure it suits my skin tone very well. as far as the quality, it is great like all of the fyrinnae i have tried. i said no to repurchasing just because i am not a fan of the color with my skintone. but thats the point of the minis right? :)

Eye Shadow -Fyrinnae - Lucky Charmed Loose Powder
rated 5 of 5
napkinz 11/8/2011 11:50:00 PM

i purchased this in the mini size and let me tell you. its the best thing i've ever done for my dark brown eyes. i get so many compliments on my eyes when i wear this. i just can't put into words how much i love it. i barely even scratched the surface of my sample before i went and bought a fullsize because i am paranoid about fyrinnae discontinuing it, Heaven forbid. its a gorgeous, glowing molten green color that glides on like liquid. its got a little bit of blue sparkle but nothing over the top or enough to leave those dreaded glitters on your face. perfect shade, love everything about this eyeshadow. thank you fyrinnae.

Polishes -Sinful - Easy Going
rated 4 of 5
napkinz 8/28/2011 12:32:00 AM

i love love love this color SO much. its an almost white pink that looks really great with tanned fingers. the formula, however, leaves much to be desired. its extremely hard to work with and is sort of sticky and gooey and takes a little too long to dry. i usually love SC polishes but this formula just wasn't as great. i said yes to repurchasing only because i love the color so much, if i do not find another brand with the same color by the time i run out, i will probably buy again.

Polishes -Sinful - You Just Wait
rated 5 of 5
napkinz 8/28/2011 12:19:00 AM

i am usually one of two things: bright, flashy, neon nails. or dark almost black (or black) color on my nails. so i was very surprised by myself when i bought this on a two second whim from walgreens (probably because it is SO dirt cheap). i have always had really great experiences with SC so i figured this color would be no different. it was BETTER. i tried it for the first time as a sheer coat just over my bare nails and it was strikingly gorgeous. it made my nails look strong and healthy and beautiful and it is so practical and wearable at the same time. i find myself just staring at its complexity sometimes, with it flashing from gold to peach to green to mauvey pink. i went and bought Easy Going because i thought they would look great together and they do. they make the most gorgeous and feminine pale pink nails ever. i HIGHLY recommend You Just Wait. not only is it my favorite from SC, but i believe it has become my favorite nail polish....ever.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Exotic Color Intense Eyeshadow-Magic Mushroom
rated 5 of 5
napkinz 8/15/2011 2:45:00 AM

after my horrible experience with midnight mist, i swapped it for this color because i'd heard good things about it. its great! its a veeery pretty baby pink with a gold sheen. its great for a natural eye brightening look. it goes on like a too faced eyeshadow SHOULD: buttery and smooth and a little goes a long way. i love this eyeshadow. if you're interested in this collection, i recommend this color.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Exotic Color Intense Eyeshadow-Midnight Mist
rated 1 of 5
napkinz 8/15/2011 2:42:00 AM

i was swatching these new shadows in ulta and FELL IN LOVE with this one on the back of my hand. it is a deep midnight blue with a bright purple shift. i had to have it. but when i got home and used it i had to pile the stuff on to make it show up and i was very sad :( i decided to give it another try and still couldn't get it to work. it didn't even look attractive, it was so bland and boring on my eyes. it made me look sad (and i was). the packaging however is cute but i was VERY disappointed in this shadow so i swapped it for "magic mushroom" instead which was much better. there are only a few shades in this collection in which i've heard good things about (midnight mist NOT being one of them)

Lip Liners -Too Faced - Perfect Lips
rated 5 of 5
napkinz 8/15/2011 2:37:00 AM

i received this at ulta as a free gift and it came with a glamour gloss. i loooove this liner and i'm so glad i got it! it is the perfect my lips but better liner and it glides on effortlessly. love love it. then i just top it off with the glamour gloss in "flirt" and its an everyday, natural, pretty look. just, yes
