Scrubs -Origins - Modern Friction

Best face scrub ever for me! I have normal/combination skin which very rarely breaks out and i love using this once a week. Ive run out of this once, a 50 ml trial size which lasted me a long time, and was hesitant to repurchase as it is quite expensive and my skin seemed fine anyway but after a couple months i noticed my skin starting to look less healthy so ive bought some more. Like a previous reviewer mentioned the scrub has a consistency similar to a thick glue with sand in it. I use it as directed, applying on dry skin massaging with my fingers for a bit and then adding some water and massaging it some more before washing off carefully avoiding my eyes (cause it stings really bad). When i use it feels very harsh on my skin and stings a bit making my face feel very raw (so i think it will be even worse for people with sensitive skin) but right after i wash it away i use a very heavy moisturizing mask (Lush - Oatifix) and i just feel my skin soak in all the moisture and after i wash that off i use a moisturizer (Lush - Gorgeous) and my skin feels amazingly soft without any dry or oily patches and has a healthy glow. I didnt notice my face being red/irritated after using this. What i love about this product is that i can feel it working, scrubbing off all the dry flakey skin and getting rid of all the oil making my skin clear and fresh. Ive tried using another, less pricey face scrub (Lush - Ocean Salt) but it felt even more harsh on my skin and the results weren't as good so ill just stick to using this one especially as even though its expensive you only need a small amount so a full size package lasts me more than a year. The tube packaging is nice. Its hygienic and easy to use in the shower.

Mascara -Chanel - Mascara Exceptionnel

This is the best mascara I have ever used and I have tried a lot. I used to buy a lot of different mascaras both drugstore and department brands but now that I found this I don't buy any other mascara :D It is a bit dryer than other ones like Diorshow and by texture its a bit like Lancome's Hypnose. Be sure to close it tight as it will dry out quickly if you don't. I have quite long but thin lashes which are dark at the roots but somehow blonde on the ends so without mascara they look way shorter. I find that this gives me a lot of volume and curls them a bit more than my natural curl. My lashes stand out way more with this, it looks to me like I've suddenly grown more lashes =) The way I apply it is as suggested by Chanel, rotating the brush at roots and then moving it out to the ends. I repeat this a couple of times until all my lashes have a good coating of it. It doesn't clump as such but the formula is quite thick and it dries quickly. This gives me good volume at the roots and definition and separation on the ends so it looks almost as if I used liner =) If I want even more volume I comb my lashes with Ruby and Millie Folding Lash Comb after the first coat and do a second coat without combing after that and I'm ready to go out =) Overall a definite HG for me and I have repurchased this 3 times now. It is expensive at £21 from a department store but it works wonders and a tube of this lasts me around 4 months which is not bad considering I use it every day :D

Liquid -Chanel - Mat Lumiere Long Lasting Luminous Matte Fluid Makeup SPF 15
nadyazus 9/12/2008 5:57:00 PM
This is the best foundation that I have tried so far. I have normal skin and I used to use the Teint Innocence foundation but it was too dewy and made my skin look rather shiny and oily so I decided to try this one out. It says on it that it has a matte, slightly powdery but luminous finish. I find that it is more matte than the Teint Innocence but it still looks very natural and gives me a glowing complexion. It also gives me more coverage than the Teint Innocence but it is not overdry and cakey like some other powdery foundations and it doesn't give you that "over made-up" look. It is quite expensive at £25.00 for 30ml but you only need a little so it should last a long time and it does give you everything that it promises so I will repurchase.

Eyeliner -Chanel - Automatic Liquid Eyeliner

I have finally found it. My HG eyeliner. It is the best liquid eyeliner I have ever used, and I have tried quite a few but this is the only one that is actually very easy to apply if what you want is a thin line just at your top lashline. It has a little brush at the tip which is quite firm so you get loads of control and you can draw a very thin line if you wanted to. The colour, I have black, is quite watery and looks more like a brown on your skin but it is very easy to build it up. Just wait till it dries, doesn't take long, and then go over it again, and again if you want a really dark line. I find that I have to click it no more than a couple of times to get out enough product to do one eye. Overall it is quite expensive at £21.00 but I am willing to pay that price for a product that gives me such ease of application and precision.
