Didn't want to be the debbie-downer here, but I did not like this mascara. I tried my best at applying it and got OK results, but the problems arise when the little fibers fall off or when you take mascara off and the fibers get into your eyes.
Lip Gloss -Prestige - Lightshine Lipgloss in Abaco

Love the color, but that's it. Tube has leaking problems and the brush tends to have bristles sticking out all over the place.
Lip Gloss -Mary Kate and Ashley - Liquid Color Ultra Wet Lip Gloss

I didn't have problems with leakage, but think the color is too metallic. Everything else, including the smell is OK. Nothing too impressive.
Nice gloss, horrible packaging. I don't care about the smell, I actually kind of like it. The taste is OK. The problem with packaging is that lipgloss gets out of the tube and then I have it all over my purse.
Treatments (Eye) -Avon - Anew Retroactive Eye Serum [DISCONTINUED]

Like the consistency (do not put too much on, it's pretty watery) and I noticed the improvment in my fine lines. Also, very moisturizing. Giving only 4 because it is not as good compared to Burt's Bees Repair Serum.
Treatments (Eye) -Avon - ANEW PERFECT Eye Care Cream

I've used this eye cream for over a year now and liked it enough to buy a second jar while still using the first jar. I think it absorbs fairly well (I do not put too much) and moisturizes my skin really good. I also like the fact it has SPF 15. I do not think it diminished fine lines, and can't comment on them preventing wrinkels since it's been only a year and I am 26. Many creams make the skin around my eyes go crazy, but not this one. The only reason I would purchase a different eye cream some day and gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because I am trying to start using only/mostly natural skin care.
Skincare - Face -Avon - Anew Clinical Micro-Exfoliant

Very gentle for sensitive skin. Does a great job at exfoliating too. The exfoliation particles are so tiny and there is a lot of them. I don't see any improvements yet but my skin is not too bad.
Foundations -Avon - Beyond Color Line Softening Mousse Foundation
nadery 2/26/2006 3:25:00 PM
I agree with the others that this foundation is more for the oily/normal skin than the dry skin. I have dry skin that gets even worse during harsh Alaskan winters, but Avon's Hydrofirming cream is helping me with that. The foundation has a light fluffy texture with light to medium coverage, depending on how much you put on. It does make my skin look somewhat "ashy", not by color but by look. However, I like the coverage and how long it stays on. So, I've been putting Revlon's Age Defying Light makeup over it (this one doesn't stay on for too long). The combination of these two gives me perfect skin for hours. I gave it only three because I wouldn't use it alone so it's not worth a 5 rating. I will see if it works better during the summer though and rerate it if it does.
I like the consistency of this concealer and that it doesn't crease (after you set it with powder), but it's just not thick enough for my dark circles. This would be perfect for somebody who doesn't need too much coverage. The color Light I bought was also too light for me and I am not sure if the medium one would be too dark, so, due to the limited color selection, I removed another lippie. Up for swap it goes!
Mascara -Avon - Extreme Volume Flexicoat Mascara (non waterproof)
nadery 12/4/2005 4:16:00 PM
I like the way this mascara thickens my eyelashes, but the brush is just too big (or my eyes too small :) and it clamps easily. It's still pretty close to Maybelline Full Lash so I gave this one a 4. I exchanged it for the Lash Designer and like that one much better (even though it doesn't thicken as dramatically).
This is the second mascara I've tried from Avon and I like it. I like the brush, which is really small and gets even smallest eyelashes covered. I like that it doesn't clamp. I like that it thickens a little bit while giving eye lashes a natural look. And I love the price. I can usually get it for $3 or less.
I love this cleanser. It is very gentle and sometimes you have very little makeup left on your face. The toner (Clarifying Essense) takes care of that. It also helped me in fading little scars and preventing zits in my chin (my skin is dry but tends to break out on my chin because I touch my face too much). I could see a difference in one week! It never happened to me before.
Toners -Avon - Anew Clarifying Essence [DISCONTINUED]
nadery 12/1/2005 10:54:00 PM
I don't usually use a toner because I have dry skin, but this one is an exception. The toner is a great addition to the Anew Ultra Cream Cleanser. The cleanser is very gentle and a toner is a must since it finishes the job. The toner is the gentliest, yet effective, I've ever used. It's not drying like most toners. It doesn't have oil like toners for dry skin do. I also love the smell.
Crème -Avon - Personal Match Dewy Soufflé Foundation
nadery 11/22/2005 10:23:00 PM
I liked the feeling of this foundation, very smooth and velvety. However, it kind of exagerated my fine lines and dry skin. Otherwise, it has really good coverage and stays on for a while. I'll try to put on a little bit less and see if that helps, but otherwise, I won't repurchase. UPDATE: I tried putting on less foundation and then putting a little bit of moisturizer on and it looks a lot better. It's probably because I have such a dry skin, plus, I am comparing it to Revlon's Age Defying makeup, which is very very creamy.
This moisturizer saved my life! I live in Alaska and my skin gets really dry during winters. I bought SSC Olive Oil cream and it helped somewhat, but definetely not as much as Hydrofirming. I've tried day cream only so far. Love the smell, the SPF, the creamy texture (you don't need that much). The only thing I don't like is the jar, which is not the hygenic, but I'll stick with this one for a while anyway.
