Treatments -Sally Hansen - Problem Cuticle Remover

I actually like this. I used this on my toes and fingernails today, rubbed it on, where there was still a little residue left over and then waited about 5 mins. Using the orange sticks i rubbed the cream in a little more which helped the dead skin come off and the rest I pushed back. They looked very neat, I did make sure to use a cuticle oil after washing the remaining cream off. I would recommend it for a quick at home pedi-mani, gives you a nice base to do your thing. Definitely use a moisturising cuticle oil after though.

If i could find this here in the States, I would definitely repurchase! I bought this many years ago from Harvey Nichols when they used to carry it. It was the clear plastic curler. It was perfect for my lashes, i have small eyes and always managed to pinch them with every other eyelash curler except with these. It also managed to curl the stubborn straight lashes on my outer left eye (the lashes on that just don't like to co-operate)! I have no idea what happened to mine and looked online even on Ebay after i moved to the states but couldn't find them, may need to start hunting again for them, although my Preo lash curler has been the best every beauty tool purchase i have ever made. Mister Mascara does come in second though, beating my Shu Uemura lash curlers too.

I really like, how this balm plumps out my fine lines instantly. It's not a sticky balm either, it feels lovely on the lips. I can tell the difference as soon as i apply the balm to my lip, u see the fine lines vanish. i need to commit to use it more often so i can see the benefits, even after it has worn off.

I love this over my dior lip glow! It emphasises my lips alot, so i just add to the middle mainly. Very pretty natural colour, which would probably suit all skin tones.

Wow, what a waste of money and make up bag space! I used to like the older formula, my only issue with that one, was that it didn't really volumise, but it did lengthen alot on my lashes. I had run out of the old formula and went to replenish my make up bag from Ulta, and saw this new tube that was $10 less than what it used to be!! Hey, good deal right?!!! No, not quite! No volumising, flatten curled eyelases poker straight (which is crazy, because the old formula held my curl so well) and just look spider-y! I would not recommend this to anyone and would not buy it again. I really hope they switch back to the old formula and add thickening ability!

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Iconic High Definition Lash Curler Mascara

Hmmm, i'm really unsure about this mascara. I love the brush, it works really well for my tiny eyelashes, it seems to get them all. I always curl my lashes before applying mascara, but it doesn't seem to hold my curl on the left eye. The right eye starts to fall flat, but still manages to hold on. Bear in mind, i use the Shu Uemura eyelash curler and then the amazing Preo lash curler to get those pesky lashes that like to stay poker straight (plus it gives me the curliest lashes i could ever ask for. LOVE PREO!!) and still my one eye falls flat like it was never curled! So yup, i'm still uncertain about this mascara with crappy curling capability!!!

What an amazing & innovative eyelash curler?!! I have very straight eyelashes and always pinch them at the ends where the eyelash curler top and bottom meet. I used to use Mister Mascara's eyelash curler, it doesn't have the bars at the ends, but this blows that out of the water. I use Shu Uemura's eyelash curler, it fits my eyes better than most eyelash curlers, i then use this to curl my outer lashes (no matter which eyelash curler i can never seem to get these to curl). i curl at the base, once in the middle and once at the end and it really opens up my small eyes, i can also turn it upside down and do my lower lashes with no struggle or effort. This is one of my essential every day make up bag items, i am so excited i found a solution for my pin-straight lashes.

Concealers -Laura Mercier - Undercover Pot
na2r4 5/31/2009 5:42:00 PM
I LOVE this product, i initially used the under-eye concealer on my wedding day (6+ years ago) after speaking to a SA in Harvey Nichols in Leeds. I only got to use it that one day, as it disappeared with a few other things in our very busy house that day (I was moving to the States to live with my hub and had alot of things all over the place, mixed up with all my families items). I didn't try it again, till last year when i saw this undercover pot and i could smack myself for waiting sooooo long! This makes my eyebags vanish into thin air, i love it, I love the packaging & the powder, which really helps set it. I used to find my eyeliner or mascara would slip into my concealer as the day wore on, but this undercover pot put a stop to that. I have one tiny gripe though, i just wish the pans were refillable. I have used up my under-eye concealer almost, but the harder concealer has barely been touched and i still have plenty of powder left. The thought of buying another whole undercover pot just for the under-eye concealer is a little daunting. I still recommend this to everyone, I won't change back to any of the other concealers i have ever tried, this is the one for me.

Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm

I bought this a couple of weeks ago after reading reviews on Sephora's website. I have big lips that tend to look very clown like with color on them. However, this little tube, adds just the right amount of color, a blush-like tint. I have used benetint and a few others before, but they tend to add a little too much colour, this is perfect. I love the consistency of it and it actually has staying power for me, i can go a whole day at work and still leave with a lovely blush on my lips. Packaging is pretty and i carry it around with me at all times in my change purse. Price is a little hefty, but i'm don't collect alot of make up, i spend on my tried and trusted staples, so it evens out for me.

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Corrector
na2r4 12/11/2007 12:32:00 AM
I bought this last week, after reading reviews on the best concealers & i narrowed it down to this one. I asked the SA at the local Bloomies to apply it on me & she had to combine 2 for my skintone, bisque & dark bisque. The results were amazing, i could tell the difference right away. I did end up buying them a day later (wanted to see what it would look like towards the end of the day, so didn't buy straight away), the 2 concealers & the brush. I use under eye cream & one eye seems to be more drier than the other & the corrector starts to look patchy. Also, i wear Lashfusion mascara that i can never get to budge, but it seems to slip on to my concealer towards the end of the day. What am i doing wrong? Can any1 help me? I'll be more than happy to change this rating to a 5, if i can rectify these problems that I'm encountering, because the covering of hereditary dark circle is impressive. I also use either the Mac NC35 concealer on top or recently I tried my YSL Touch Eclat, which gave a better result. I should definitely think about heading back to the BB counter & see if she can tell me what i'm doing wrong. :S
