This lip liner impressed me. I have used many liners, from high-end to drugstore, and none have delivered a more natural, yet enhancing appearance. Because it is on the lighter side and is slightly nude, it will blend easily with most skin tones and natural lip colors. If you’re tying to achieve the pouty look or enhance the lips, this is the perfect liner to use because it is neutral and won’t look like you’ve purposefully drawn above your natural lip line to make your lips appear larger. But don’t think that it won’t deliver any color just because it is natural. It is light, but it will still add just enough drama without giving that over drawn effect. At night, I’ll sometimes add a darker liner over it in some places if I want to make it pop a little. It is also great with many shades of lipsticks. The consistency is not cakey and it stays on pretty well.
The consistency of the gloss is pretty good and not sticky like most. When applied over lip sticks, it will not take the undercoat off and, instead, will glide over the preexisting color. However, I was not pleased with the color. I love all shades of pink, from light to vibrant, but this was more of a white color. When applied over the lip stain, it drowned out the color, leaving a whitish tone. I'm a fan of the muted, washed out colors, but I wasn't expecting it from this shade. This gloss would probably work better with darker shades underneath it or over a neutral lip stick for a more natural look.

Unlike a lot of the reviews here, I did NOT find this lip stain to be that pink at all. I wear all sorts of pink lipsticks, especially from M.A.C., so I am familiar with vibrant colors, and this is not one of them. With that said, it is more of a light reddish pink with a frosted tint to it. And the frost tones down the color anyway. The consistency is pretty good and is not sticky or drying like some. It is slightly moisturizing and won't wear off quickly.
