I've gone through a few tubes of this and have to say this is my favorite mascara. I love that it gives me volume and holds curl well. This along with my Shu Uemura lash curler gives me a false eyelashes look, and I have short straight Asian lashes. My only complaint is when I first open this the first couple weeks it can be really clumpy and wet, and I have to wait for it to dry out a little bit which can be annoying.

I bought the Acne Solutions beginner kit and this was a part of it so I could try this out first before I bought the full sized items. It came with the cleansing foam, clarifying lotion and moisturizer. In March all of a sudden after having clear skin for years. I started breaking out in my t-zone with tons of little small itchy pimples and I was miserable. I couldn't attribute it to anything and I decided I wanted to use Clinique because when I was a teenager I used their products to clear my skin. I used the kit because it had a money back guarantee if it didn't work. Right away I noticed my skin wasn't so irritated and within 2 weeks it really was looking so clear and by the fourth week my skin was completely clear again. I do have to use this continuously or else the breakouts start again.

Polishes -Sephora - Sephora by OPI Metro Chic

I was really excited to try this, but I was really disappointed. Within the first day it started chipping and less than 36 hours it started chipping and peeling off my nails completely. I wore Seche Base coat, 2 coats of Metro Chic, Seche Vite Top coat, and OPI Drip Dri and it chipped so quickly. My regular OPIs and cheap nail polishes last way longer than this. I also wasn't a fan of the runny consistency and that it wasn't very opaque. Not worth the money in my opinion. I am returning this and I never return anything to Sephora.

Styling Products -Bumble & Bumble - Styling Creme

I love the hold this product gives. It helps to put this at the crown of my hair before I blow dry to give it volume and actually stays throughout the day. If I don't wash my hair the next day I just have to use my hands to give it lift and it stays! I wish I had known about this product sooner! It's pricey but worth it. A little goes a long way.

Mascara -Bare Escentuals - buxom lash

I finally found the perfect mascara! This lengthens my lashes AND gives volume while separating them! My only issue is that it isn't waterproof so hopefully they come out with a waterproof version. It also smudges a little at the middle of the day but not very much and takes a few minutes to dry when you apply it. Overall, I am very happy with this mascara and will repurchase over and over again!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 181 small buffer brush

I got this new in a swap. I love this brush for blending my contour and blush together. I tried using my 182 and other kabuki brushes but I got much better results with this since it's small. I'm so glad I finally got a hold of this!

Blush -NARS - Lovejoy

I was a little hesitant to buy this blush even after swatching it on my arm but remembered seeing it on a girl with the same skin tone as me and it looked beautiful on her. It is very pigmented and need two swipes of this with my brush to show up on my skin but that's all I need. It's a great daytime blush!

Blush -NARS - Torrid

I am now addicted to NARS blushes because of this! I am NC37-42/MUFE 155 and this looks great on my skin. I am not a huge fan of shimmer and this isn't too shimmery and just gives my face a nice glow. It's so pigmented and has great staying power so it lasts all day. I just swipe my brush lightly over it twice and that's all I need!

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I am in love with this foundation! I'm NC37/40-42 and got matched to 155. It is so natural and can make you look so polished. I'm a stickler for blemishes and most days, I don't need to apply concealer or I put just a little on my undereye area because it covers them so well with just one pump. The best brush I've used with it is a 190. I also get great results with the 109 and 187 but prefer the 190 or 109. This is HG for me!

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer

This is the best primer I've used so far. This feels so light and silky, and helps my foundation blend into my skin beautifully. It does make me a little oilier and I tried using the light version but the results after applying my foundation with it compared to this was no where near the same. With the light version my foundation sat on top of my skin instead of making it blend into my skin like the original version does. I'd rather use this and blot than use something else.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Light

Although this did help control the oil better than the original photo finish, my foundation did not sit well on my skin. It looked like it sat on top of my skin. It's a no better primer than the MAC Prep + Prime. I much prefer the original photo finish over this even though I have to blot more but the finish is beautiful. I will not repurchase, its not worth the price for me.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler

So, I've been using this for a few months now and I have to say this is the best eyelash curler I've tried. I'm Asian so my lashes are very short and straight, which is super frustrating. It holds the curl really well especially when it's heated. I only have to curl it once I usually hold it up to my hair dryer for 5 seconds for each eye. When I don't use a blowdryer, I will have to curl my eyelashes once before mascara then once after it. The regular drugstore ones I've tried won't even curl my lashes at all! I stopped getting raccoon eyes once I used this. The price is a little outrageous and I wish they made replacement pads. It's a little ridiculous to tell us to buy a new eyelash curler every 6 months!

I love this brush for my crease and outer-v. It gives a precise application. I chose this over the 275 because I could see how much color I'm packing on. Love it!
