I use this product as a serum for my face. Although I have combination skin, it doesn't break me out at all. I add one or two drops to my toner each night and it's a great moisturizer for my skin. I think the effects are comparable to more expensive products like advanced night repair from estee lauder. It makes my complexion look very dewey in the morning. Verdict on scars though- no effect.

Great for taking a scent on the go. Won't spill in your purse and smells very pleasant! It's not over powering and you can easily control how much you put on.

This blush is really subtle. It gives your face a healthy glow. It's makeup without looking too made-up. It brightens my face and smells great. I'm all through with my box. Does anyone else have trouble using up makeup? This is one of the first times I used a compact to the metallic bottom. Time to get a new one! I wish the box wasn't paper and and so bulky so I could take it everywhere.

Powder -Everyday Minerals - foundation semi-matte formula

READ the ingredient list! It's so short and simple which is why I love this company. They really care about what goes on your skin. I love this foundation in Peaches. I use it everyday. It doesn't irritate my skin and gives my skin a healthy glow. It's the perfect amount of coverage for work. Their powder concealers also work surprisingly well. The packaging could be made a little stronger since the lids chip after a while. I really recommend this product because it is simple, natural and looks great on skin.

Toners -Alba Botanica - Hawaiian Hibiscus Facial Toner

I used thayers for a long time until I bought a damaged bottle that did major damage to my skin. I switched to th alba botanica for a while and it feels wonderful. At first this product stung my eyes a little ( might be some menthol or tea tree oil ingredient). Overall it makes my skin really bright and moisturized. Will definitely stick to is brand. I feel it's higher quality compared to thayers.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

For a drugstore mascara, this one is pretty pricey. However, it's much better than the Covergirl lashblast series that I've been using. The Lashblast series don't smudge, (even the non-waterproof ones), however, the formula is piteously thin.The Falsies brush is really good (gets every lash) and the formula is pretty thick and defining. I haven't had any trouble with smudging with this product and is a great everyday mascara.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Rice Flower and Shea Body Lotion

This is my favorite Bath&Body Works lotion. For the same price, it's one of the only ones containing shea butter. Unlike MOST other lotions from this store, the scent of the Rice flower one is not over-powering. It's a lovely mild scent (although still too strong for my taste) and is very moisturizing.

Treatments -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - TCA Peel

Overall this is a great product. I did my second peel today. The product doesn't offer any miracles but it does what it claims to do. On my first peel with a 12.5%, 1 layer was enough to peel, 2 layers frosted. I have very INsensitive skin but never used acids before. I peeled for 7 days. 10 days after the first peel, you could see that my fine lines ended where I did the peel. I did my undereye area today so these tiny lines should away too after the skin comes off. After the first peel, my tone evened out dramatically. My skin got a little bit oilier maybe because it was more active from regrowth. no zits though. Over all - fine lines GONE, Tone evened out a lot, skin feels smoother in general, acne scars (boxcar and icepick) still around. I used Cetaphil lotion to not look flaky. It works until maybe 4pm. Don't pick at your skin! this will make you looks splotchy if not permanently. After this second full peel(1layer with cross on scars) I'll only be doing my acne scars every 3-4 weeks using the CROSS method. I will give a full 5 lippie if these reduce after say... 4 applications. Worth your money (it's dirt cheap afterall), easy to use. Just suck it up and go to work when you're peeling. The results are worth looking sick for a few days.

Crème -Shiseido - Hydro-Liquid Compact

I just bought the Advanced version of this product. The colors from Sheseido are soooo great for Asian skin. This really corrects my grayish and slightly jaundiced complexion. It makes me look younger and healthier! People tell me I'm glowing! I find that all the other brands not specifically made for Asian skin makes my skin looks even more yellow (no matter how neutral/fair the color claims to be), this includes lancome, bobbi brown, Mac and neutrogena. This has become my HG product!!! I'm so happy with it, I won't go out without it anymore and I'm going to throw away all my other foundations. I mean, why use those when I can look this good? I've become a bit narcissistic since I started using this foundation - always checking myself out.

Mascara -Maybelline - XXL volume+length microfiber mascara

This is definitely my favorite mascara in this price range. It really adds length and body to my lashes. They're totally huge after I use it. I guess some people can say it's clumpy, but if you go zig-zag as you brush your lashes with the wand, lashes usually separate nicely. I curl my lashes with Shu Uemura's curler before using this. I like thicker mascaras like this one. The more watery ones don't add body at all! Will definitely buy this again.

Eyeliner -Bobbi Brown - longwear gel liner in black mauve

BB gel liners are great, I have them in two colors. They're so defined and vibrant and really stays on. One of my girlfriends said she even wore it in a hottub and it didn't smudge. I like it better than any of the Make Up Forever gel liners. Those feel drier and they smudge more. HG eyeliner for sure!

Moisturizers -Lancome - Aqua Fusion Continous Infusing Moisturizer Lotion SPF 15

Pros: Great summer moisturizer, really plumps up your skin nicely. Skin feels soft and moist all day. Not greasy, easily absorbed. Nice, fresh-smelling scent. Cons: Runs out quickly since the cream is very light and I tend to use more. At its price, it's pretty expensive for how long it lasts.

Pros: Moisturizing enough for my normal-dry skin. Cons:Packaging not airtight. Every time I use it, the first pump is half-dried, followed by the hydrated product. This is very wasteful and doesn't go on even since part of it is dried! No lifting effect as far as I can tell, been using for 1 month.

Moisturizers -Shiseido - White Lucent Protective Moistuizer SPF 16

This is a pretty expensive bottle for what it does. Pros: The SPF is really strong, without being at all oily. It's my favorite moisturizer for the summer since it makes my face matte and protects from sunburn. Cons: It's hard to get the product out of the package. At the end of the bottle, I think it gets thicker. I had to put in some toner to thin it up. When it's too thick/you put too much, it rolls off your face every time you touch your skin - like you put putty on it. Next time I'm just going to use my regular moisturizer (Clinique or Kiehls) with Shiseido's SPF50. Shiseido's sunblocks are always very mattifying.

Treatments (Eye) -Mavala - Double-Lash

Although this is a great product, you have to be really careful using it as not to get eye infections. It's very easy for bacteria to grow in this bottle so it's better to get a separate lash wand and wash it every time you use it. My lashes grew maybe 1-2mm after 2 months of using it, but I also got a bad eye infection from it. So as long as you're careful not to contaminate the bottle, you got your bang for your buck with this product.
