Self Tanners -Fake Bake - Passion Fruit Body Polisher

Great exfoliant. The grains are superfine, but it feels good (no pain here). I (may be the only one) am not too jazzed about the smell. But it doesn't really matter, since it's such a nice "polisher". The really cool thing has to be that my legs FEEL moisturized afterwards.
Makeup Brushes -Shiseido - The Makeup Powder Brush

This is the greatest powder brush! It's so soft, it doesn't irritate sensitive skin at all. Great for loose powders or bronzers (sometimes I use it as a blush brush too). The best part is if you care for it properly, the hairs never fall out (unlike mac) and it stays super soft for years
I use this sometimes as an eyeshadow base. It's great for that, but it's horrible on my face! I have oily skin and this powder looks cakey and rough after minutes. I'm sure it's great for other skin types and I love it around my eyes, but it's just not worth the money for me. I still prefer shiseido or chanel.
I bought ruby slipper (a bright red/pink color) recently. I was looking for a good red, and this new line (velvet ice) consists of a few crazy bright colors. The color IS bright, but only after about 3 layers. The end result is great, but it takes so long, and so much product to get there. I'm not sure why you wouldn't make a bright color well pigmented. No one ever wants "just a light sweep of bright red"- that wouldn't really work. It wouldn't be bright red anymore! While they arent that expensive, you will need 2x's as much which means they aren't the best value. But it is red..
Wow! I found these for $2.99 at a local beauty supply store and I'm impressed! The texture is superb (better than mac, and very close to aveda), and the colors are very satisfying. These shadows are wonderful for artists. Rust a great color and its sooo cheap!
Bought this for my boy'f - he absolutely loves it. Has a nice woodsy scent and contains natural oils to help moisturize the skin.
Beautiful eye shadow- highly pigmented so you don't have to use very much. The colors show up vividly on the skin, too. Great for African American skin or anyone who dislikes the ashey look of most eye shadows. I have bleu cobalt which is an intense blue paired with a shimmery silver and I have to say this is a very luxurious eyeshadow. Only complaint is the price ($30) and the applicator (but my shiseido brushes work excellently with high quality shadows so it's ok).
This is lterally the best tea I've ever had. 'nuff said. I usually add sweetener to all tea but this one I perfect how it is. The licorice root is more of a sweet aftertaste than licorice. The peppermint isn't too overwhelming either. Love it!
My fav. thing abt this is the consistency. I little goes a long way (as is implied by the small tip). It leaves a fresh glow on the skin and is really very natural and healthy looking. Only one prob: the 3 colors match MOST people. Yeah, just most...otherwise it's great and has spf 15!
This is my poor man's version of the Aveda peppermint soap. The smell is really similar, and I like the particles in the soap. I mean.. it's soap...
Nice texture (thick), has beautiful shimmer to it. Great color. I love the pot bcs I use a lip brush. Tube glosses can't be used over lpstck w/o the applicator getting stained and mixing w/ the color (not to mention its just plain unsanitary).
Lotions/ Creams -Fake Bake - bronzy babe tinted body glow
myramoreta 1/12/2004 2:51:00 AM
The idea behind this is great. Most other body bronzing lotions are expensive and you recieve a small bottle. This tube is a decent size, and the color is nice. However, they need to work on the texture a bit. The lotion does its job if you only rub each area once. If you accidently touch the spot again (or your clothes, etc. rub against it) it leaves a conspicuous patch of naked skin. Then, when you try to reapply, it doesn't stick to that spot and you end up rubbing off more! If they fixed that I would love it. Until then I'll just remember to self tan before I wear certain clothes.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - all victoria's secret fragrances

While the scents are not as overly sweet and "youth oriented" as bath and body works, they're not far from it. Just seems like more of that fruity sweet stuff that makes me (and most men) sick. The packaging is pretty good, though -
My fav. candle is their gardenia. The smell lingers in the room whether the candle is lit or not. I really like the color of the candles, too. They have a marble/textured look. A bit pricey for me, but if you learn to burn them correctly, they are worth the money. Also, their 50% off sales are helpful!
LOVE this stuff!! The bottle is soo cute, it's only $38, and the smell is actually energizing. It's musky, citrusy, and refreshing. I can smell it all day, but this scent is anything but heavy.
