I wanted to love this more than I did. The name, the bottle, & the whole vibe is fun & easy to love. The dominat notes are peach & cedar & the peach is sharp & contrasts with the cedar until a good hour later when bergamot emerges & smooths everything out. At this point it becomes much more wearable & fun, & although the composition mellows, it is certainly not subdued. I see this on high school & undergrad ladies who have ENERGY & wake up embracing the pulse of the moment, anticipating & excited about who they're going to see that day & what things may happen. When was an undergrad, this would have fit me perfectly!

Fragrances -Laura Mercier - Almond Coconut Eau Gourmande

This is surprisingly beautiful. It is a beautiful slightly intense coconut soaking in condensed milk, & as it dries down a delicate toasted almond makes a slow entrace until it pushes forward enough to become the alpha note while the coconut in condensed milk beautifully becomes the back-up music. I should note that I'm really not a fan of coconut, but this is gorgeous, & is especially perfect for the early days of fall when the sky is a beautiful blue & the air is a little crisper. The only reason I'm rating it a 3 is because I'm prone to migraines & there's something in this that is aggravating the tendency for 1 to develop..

This is surprisingly delicious! Whereas I get the Angel similarities, to me it is a beautiful rich fragrance in its own right. Also, the scent offers a clear contrast from Angel - I am one of those people who hates Angel! In this LM fragrance, the pistachio note is wonderful and very distinct. I gave this 4 lippies because I would not wear this every day because it is so heavy, decadent, & rich. It is interesting, yummy & very sexy, however! For me, this is a big night out fragrance, as well as a sexy night in scent. Wear this when you want to be sniffed & lusted after!!

LOVE this product, absorbs quickly, very effective, great $! Only downside is the scent & I've taken 1 lippie off for that. I have actually stalled for months in purchasing more because of this, but it's probably about time...!

For years I've wanted to try this, but it's discontinued, so I haven't had the chance to do so. Today, I found it at TJ Max & bought it, thinking it would be wonderful. It wasn't!! The vanilla is off & it starts off very perfumy & dries down quicker than any perfume ever! That part was interesting, at least! There's a reason this is discontinued!!

I really wanted to love this, but what I get is a very powdery patchouli with a hint of vanilla. If you love powdery earthy scents, you might love this!

This vanilla smells like delicious cookies with lemon frosting. My only issue with it is that it has minimal lasting power on my skin...like maybe 8 minutes. I have been spraying it on my sheets & often get a whiff of it when I awake & that is a very nice way to start the day. The verdict: lasts on sheets, not on skin!

This is spicy in a tandoori soup kind of way. Every time I've tried this (it contains some of my favorite notes, tuberose & gardenia), the floral notes have never emerged. Although I LOVE the bottle, this perfume is not for me! My best friend smelled it on me & fell head-over-heals in love! I wish I was able to appreciate it. Maybe in time (with her wearing it) it will grow on me.

This is a pretty scent & smells like an aquatic Sunflowers. I prefer it for the start of spring, when the weather just starts to warm up & the sun starts shining a little brighter & the sky is bluer than it had been in months. Pretty, but not worth the price.

My HG! Will buy forever! I've searched high & low for a fragrance that would knock my socks off & was sadly starting to think that there would be many I liked but none that I positively loved... but, alas, I was wrong! This is soft & intimate enough that I can usually smell it, but it doesn't enter the room before I do. This is a scent than seems to be a natural extension of me & that lingers in the minds of those fortunate enough to hug me! I'm sure I'll wear bigger scents for big events, but for everyday life, this is the winner! I absolutely adore Jo's Orange Blossom, but it has no longevity. I know Jo's sales force encourages purchasing many scents to create a more custom blend, but this gorgeous vanilla anise floral is perfect just as it is! Beautiful :)

To me, this is late fall, holidays, warmth, & love. It is an ambience scent & would be most enjoyed in a candle. This smells of cloves, mulled wine, & evergreens. A few of these candles burning in a room near a cozy fireplace with wonderful friends around, & this becomes winter personified.

This was a gift. The creme quickly absorbs & is quite luxurious. The low score is for the scent itself. It is much more prominent in this than the cologne. I assume it's the basil that makes scent smell like grass & hay. I appreciated that the scent dissipated rather quickly!

This starts off as a heavy hitter but dries down to nothing in less than an hour. As it dried down, an indolic jasmine replaced the fine & luxurious jasmine that initially appeared. This was at its prettiest when it had almost entirely dissipated. I'd reccomend this to any jasmine lover, IMO, however, it should last much MUCH longer based on the price...but we all wear things differently!

The first time I wore this, I thought this was similar to Flowerbomb, but better & less sweet. The second time I wore it, it stood all on its own with no comparisons coming to mind. It is a sexy woodsy scent that is at the same time very elegant. I appreciate it more every time I wear it. It is quite delicious!
