Bath Treatments -LUSH - Ro's Argan Body Conditioner

I am loving this! It's pricey, but a little goes a long way. The smell is divine and lasts for hours. I'm usually not a fan of floral scents, but I really love this one. It smells like a delicious honey floral and is comforting rather than cloying and overpowering. I would definitely repurchase this.

Shampoo -LUSH - Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo
muse97 3/6/2012 6:44:00 PM
I liked this at first, but it definitely is not good for color-treated hair. It initially calmed and smoothed my hair so much that people commented on how nice it looked. BUT, after using it a few times, all of my hair color washed out. Boo.

Cleansers -LUSH - Dark Angels

This is nice, but too drying for my combo skin. I definitely prefer Angels on Bare Skin for myself. This is better for oilier skin.

Cleansers -LUSH - Ultrabland

Wow. I love this. I'm so surprised to find that it doesn't break me out at all, since it's sooooo thick. I would definitely buy it again.

Toners -LUSH - Breath of Fresh Air
muse97 3/6/2012 6:38:00 PM
This is nice, but not amazing. I've repurchased it. It's refreshing and does not cause breakouts. It doesn't seem to remove makeup at all, just acts as a skin refresher.

Scrubs -LUSH - Ocean Salt
muse97 3/6/2012 6:37:00 PM
This is okay, but due to it's harshness I wouldn't buy it again. The grains of salt in it are too large. I feel like I'm damaging my face when I use it there, but it's not so harsh on the rest of my skin. There are other scrubs out there that are better.

Masks -LUSH - Mask of Magnaminty
muse97 3/6/2012 6:34:00 PM
I like this! It's nice and refreshing, although not amazing. I've used it only a few times a week as a morning cleanser/mask or in the evening on no-makeup days. It does not cause breakouts.

Cleansers -LUSH - Angels on Bare Skin
muse97 3/6/2012 6:32:00 PM
I really love this! I use it after removing my sunscreen and makeup with an oil-based cleanser. I'm not sure it would work well as a makeup remover on it's own. It leaves my face so soft. It gently exfoliates and cleanses without clogging pores at all. I've had no breakouts from this after using it for about a year now. However, the almond granules in it do get left in my hairline, which is annoying. But, they do comb out easily. My skin seems to have improved thanks to this. I have fewer clogged pores. Yay!

Moisturizers -LUSH - Vanishing Cream
muse97 3/6/2012 6:29:00 PM
Every Lush moisturizer that I've tried has broken me out, and this is no exception. I have combo skin that isn't zit-prone, but a bit blackhead-prone. But, after trying this for a couple of days, I broke out in pimples in my t-zone. It was definitely the culprit.

Moisturizers -Algenist - Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer
muse97 12/16/2011 6:50:00 PM
I wish I didn't love this so much. It is PRICEY. I received a sample from Sephora and used it during a trip to cold COLD NYC. It really helped with the flaky patches that I was getting due to the winter weather. I've been using it all over my face, neck, and decollete. I have not been using a separate eye cream, and it is not irritating to my eyes at all. I initially had a tiny breakout (by tiny, I mean TINY. Two zits, then nothing), but kept using it since it was the only moisturizer I brought with me. I'm glad I did. My skin looks really lovely and soft. I have good skin already, so I don't know how well it lives up to it's claims. But, it certainly is more comfortable and moisturizing than all of the other face creams/oils I've been using. Here's a bit of the description via Sephora: "What it is formulated to do: This lotion's luxurious texture provides immediate moisturization while other antiaging and hydrating ingredients release over time to nourish and regenerate the skin. The revolutionary microalgae-based ingredient alguronic acid works to minimize wrinkles, leaving your skin looking radiant and noticeably younger. What it is formulated WITHOUT: - Parabens - Sulfates - Synthetic Fragrances - Synthetic Dyes - Phthalates - GMOs - Triclosan Ingredients: Water/Eau (Aqua), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Sorbitan Stearate, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, DI-C12-15 Alkyl Fumarate, Algae Exopolysaccharides, Malus Domestica Fruit (Apple) Cell Culture Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Leaf/Stem Extract, Tetrapeptide-21, Pisum Sativum (Pea) Extract, Enantia Chlorantha Bark Extract, Alaria Esculenta Extract, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Biotin, Glucosamine HCL, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Ergothioneine, Oleanolic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer, Stearic Acid, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Lecithin, Mannitol, Vinyl Dimethicone/Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Disodium EDTA, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Aminomethyl Propanol, Hexylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol."

Lip Treatments -Dolce & Gabbana - Classic Cream Lipstick in Velvet (#130)
muse97 11/4/2011 7:37:00 PM
I am so mad at myself for buying this. I was feeling self-indulgent (obviously, since this is a US$30 lipstick!!!), so purchased this online. I hate it, but that's what I get for being frivolous. The color is an awful frosty yellow-pink. Very 80s, and so not what I was expecting. To me, it's an incredibly outdated color, so I'm surprised to find it from a supposedly fashionable company. I was looking for a bright 'lips but better' color, not something I'd have loved when I was 15. The texture is ok, the packaging is nice, and it wears comfortably, but it smells (unpleasantly) like normal cheap waxy lipstick. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it.

Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Devita Solar Body Block 30
muse97 11/3/2011 7:28:00 PM
I am loving this. I am very fair, so I'm trying to get myself in the habit of wearing body sunscreen everyday. I usually don't, since most feel drying or greasy. This one feels like a nice lotion. I also love the one that this company makes for the face. Great products!

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Devita-Aloe Vera Moisture Cleanser
muse97 11/3/2011 7:25:00 PM
I think I would only buy this during warmer weather, when my skin less dry. This is a nice and simple cleanser. I love that it's vegan and I recognize all of the ingredients, but I did find it a bit drying. I'll stick with Bubble and Bee's Pineapple Enzyme Cleanser.

Cleansers -Nude Skincare - Cleansing Facial Oil
muse97 10/22/2011 7:19:00 PM
I have used other cleansing oils, and this is one of the worst, and most expensive. The worst, because I could not rinse it off. So, instead of cleansing, it just made my face dirtier and felt gross. I prefer the cleansing oils by Boscia, Fancl, or DHC.

Moisturizers -Mir - Skin Silk
muse97 8/23/2011 9:42:00 PM
Like the other Mir moisturizer, this is very nice. I have combo skin that tends to get clogged pores in the t-zone while my cheeks remain dry. This moisturizer leaves my whole face, neck, and decollete comfortably soft. It did not cause any breakouts, or leave a greasy sheen.
