First: IMHO this is not a powder foundation. I use this as a setting powder as the coverage is minimal. But it works greats over Stila's Sheer color tinted moisturizer and is ideal for a natural daytime look. The price is too expensive for the quantity and the compact is separate. However, this combination does not cake and gives a no makeup look. Bonus points for the SPF but it could be higher. Also, it gives a glow but it is not shimmery. I still give it a 5 for the use as described above. As a real powder foundation this would be a 3 at best. If you need heavier coverage or want a more "dolled up look" try Mac's Studio Fix Powder. I would suggest trying it if you already have good skin. My coloring: Mac C3 - Stila 30 Watts and Sheer Color tinted moisturizer in Light
I have light olive skin and this barely shows up on me. There is a lot of glitter and some fallout. I used it several times and now it has been just sitting in my drawer. OK for a teenage girl but not for me!
Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50

I have used this every day since I bought it a few months ago. Inititially, I was on a primer hunt and had thought I found the best one for me in Lancome's Base Pro. The other praised ones, including Smashbox all broke me out horribly. However, I needed a sunscreen and I admit that it was just tiresome to apply my Shiseido Sunscreen and then Base Pro. I then skipped the primer and just used the sunscreen under my Studiofix Powder. After a few hours my makeup would cake and find lines to settle in (lines that I never thought I had...). Not a good look but then I am really picky and prefer a no makeup look while wearing a lot of it! I went to my MAC counter and bought this in desperation. First of all, it dries quickly. No need for me to wait 30 min. between applying sunscreen and then powder. Now it's just lotion, wait 2 min., apply Prep and Prime, wait 2 min., and apply foundation. It makes my makeup last a good 10 hours before I see any fading. It does not break me out. The packaging is ok. But, it is pricey, there is no denying that. However, it has become a staple for me in such a short time that I will continue to repurchase. Highly recommended!
Can be worn on its own or layered over lipstick. I find that it is versatile: It tones down orangy-red colors for a daytime look. It also works beautifully with mauve lipsticks. Finally, it helps to bring rosy lipsticks to a more nudish pink look. I pretty much wear it every other day. It last about 3 hours on my lips when worn with lipstick. Yes it is tacky but not uncomfortable. I'd rebuy in a heartbeat, it's a very wearable color.
Great product and a lifesaver in the Alabama heat/humidity. I use it to set my Studiofix powder (C3). Does not oxidize, takes away shine, and is not cakey. Love this and can't live without it. The price is reasonable for a very good product.
I am a C3 in Studiofix and this is the perfect matte blush. It is super natural on me and the one blush I apply when doing job-related things. I normally love my CARGO blushes as I think their texture is better than MAC but Blushbaby beats all of them for those no frills days when I want the no makeup look. IMHO it looks best when applied with a skunk, pretty much impossible to overdo and end up with clown cheeks. It is hard to find blushes with no shimmer, so this is a must-have for me.
Gorgeous golden beige e/s that is very soft and easy to apply. I use MAC's PP in soft ochre as a primer under all shadows and NYX shadows stay all day (12+ hours). However, my lids are not oily to begin with. Love it and highly recommend it as an allover wash and brownish eyeliner or a brown in the crease, e.g. NYX dark brown, which is matte. BTW, my color is C3.
Rather make lashes appear longer than more voluminous. The look is quite natural. Very wet formula that smudges on me midday. This was a gift with purchase, I would have brought it back otherwise.
Lip Liners -Revlon - Colorstay Lip Liner in Nude 630

Great dupe for Estee Lauder's FIG liner. A little less creamy but that's ok for the price. Lines nicely, great staying power. I have no issues with sharpening it. Great price, especially because there is always a deal at the drugstores for Revlon. I'll repurchase!
Just like everybody said this is a high-end version of CG Lashblast. It is very smelly when applied. It gives volume and lenghtens, no smudging. I like it - received it in a boxed Cargo set - but I won't repurchase as I believe it is not better than good drugstore mascaras, which are cheaper.
Powder -Physicians Formula - Healthy Wear SPF 50 Powder Foundation

I received this in a swap. Translucent Medium is a decent match for Studiofix Powder C3 skin. Love the sunscreen in it but this is chalky when applied. Coverage is almost non-existent. It felt scratchy on my skin and I will only use this for beach trips. After reading the good reviews I had expected more.
This was recommended by the stylist after she put gloss on my hair. It smells good. However, I do not recommend this conditioner (nor the shampoo): I have thick, wavy hair. After using this about 6 weeks - I wash my hair only twice a week - I realized how dry/frizzy my hair has become. The color looks ok, my hair is still shiny, I just don't like the way it feels/looks. Thankfully I only purchased the trial size and I am almost out. Will not repurchase.

Cleansers -Clean & Clear - makeup dissolving facial cleansing wipes
mulhollanddrive 6/26/2010 8:33:00 PM
I bought those because I forgot my regular oil cleanser (Shu). These wipes take off your makeup but don't work very well on waterproof mascara. They left my face red and irritated. I took off the residue with Cetaphil cleanser. The wipes caused a minor breakout. After two weeks I switched to the generic Walmart brand (in absolute desperation because of the breakout) and my skin got better. I do not recommend these.
I don't understand the neg. ratings for this product. This is the perfect mascara for someone looking for a natural look. I started to use Careprost for my lashes and they are really long and thick now. Adding this mascara simply makes them stunning without looking fake. It does not flake or smudge in a 3 mile run and is easily brushed out with a lash comb. I adore this product and will repurchase it.
