Overpriced useless mask. Thank goodness I paid half price. January Labs Power Peel Exfoliant is made of a cinnamon based gel that you are supposed to apply to clean skin, leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off, whereupon your supposed to feel a warming reaction. No warming reaction, no improvement in skin tone, texture or much of anything. You have to continue to wash off for a good 5 minutes to get it all off. I can't see how it exfoliates anything. Sticking to my Dermalogica products.
Polishes -Sephora - Sephora by OPI: And a Cherry on Top

Beautiful shade, but very sheer coverage, my salon nail girl had to put 3 coats for full coverage, or you can see wear the tips attach to the nail. I like full coverage polish where you don't need to touch up after a couple of days. I have other Sephora reds and this is by far the sheerest.
Purchased a Dome Z palette for my mineralized eye shadows and mac blushes. These are the only palettes that have the depth to hold the depotted Mac mineralized eye shadows. I fit three mineralized shadows, 4 mac blushes, one mineralized skin finish blush and a regular sized shadow pan with room for a couple more regular eyeshadow pans. It came with the magnets and hold very well. The Mac mineralized blush needed 2 magnets to hold it in. Minus 1 lippie for this palette because there is no mechanism to keep it closed. Pricey item @ $25.00, but there is no other alternative for these particular shadows.
Loose Powders -NARS - Light Reflecting Setting Powder

I bought this with the hopes of a smooth, non cakey look and find it creates a ghostly look. I used it soooo lightly just to subdue any shiny areas and I still am not happy with the final results. It appears to take away the dewy look from my foundation.I will keep trying using different methods in hopes to achieve a polished look and not feeling like I wasted alot of money. If I can't get that effect its back to my GA micro.
Loving this one, a little dry upon application so use a light lip balm first, lined with Rimmel Ravish lipliner, and applied this then a clear gloss. Great color on my slightly natural reddish lip, looks more red than orange on me. Very happy. Of course its LE and sold out, got on auction and paid a pretty penny for it, but this one was worth it. Hot Chocolate, not so much.
Although not as moisturizing as some, this does the job and the color is natural looking and not a blaring red like others. The looks of a lip balm container is not important to me as its usually in my purse. Use under my lipsticks to add a little more depth to the sheerer lipstick colors.
Lip Liners -Rimmel - Exaggerate Lip Liner in Ravish

Great lipliner-creamy, smooth and best yet I think it is a dupe for Mac's Red enriched lipliner at a much more reasonable price! I will be looking for more shades that match Mac's lipliner shades. Refuse to spend $15 on a lip liner again.
Lip Gloss -Crabtree & Evelyn - Red Sparkle Shimmer Lip Gloss

Fortunately I won this product from Allure, so trying it did not cost me anything. This product claims to condition and soften your lips while adding a shimmering red sparkle look. It applies very dry, not comfortable at all and the finish is less than shimmery or sparkling. Yes it applies a sheer red, other than that, it does not condition in my opinion. Would not go out and purchase this item. Retails for $14.00 on C & E website. I think they should stick to making their body products.
I purchased this at auction, as it was sold out on the MAC site and of course overpaid for it. The color is true to the shade shown on Macs website-a true dirty plum. However, I went on the Live chat at Mac asking what lipstick was on the model for the Apre's Chic collection and I was told it was as follows: lip balm, red enriched cremestick lip liner, then warm companion lipstick and finish off with Hot chocolate lipstick. Other than warm companion (I used a very similar shade) I followed her direction and the result was not even close to the photo on the website-I got a brownish-mauve effect, not the rich color shown on the model. Not happy since I paid almost double for it. Finish is on the dry side. Must use a clear gloss over it or else it really looks dull and blah. Those of you "lemming" for this shade can calm down, its not all that.
Treatments (Eye) -StriVectin - SD Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles

I won a full size of this product with the cool metal tip. Love this stuff, immediately reduces the look of crows feet and under eye crepiness and upper lid droop. Not greasy or heavy. Tingles a bit upon application. I put a few small dots around the eye, the tap it in with my fingers. I find that if I try to apply with applicator, a lot is wasted, hence the 4 star instead of 5. Will repurchase if no other issues arise. It's very pricey, glad I didn't have to buy it first to try it.
Got this to try as a cheaper alternative to current GA loose powder. It give a nice finish, however I cannot get past the gross lingering old lady smell, I think others can smell it and probably making others think oh she smells like my grandmother. Does not give me any nostalgic thoughts, just the thought to wash it off. Will not repurchase and will probably throw it out. May try the unscented version.
Fantastic Hand Cream-soaks in and not greasy. No more crepe skin on my hands and the best part is that I had numerous burn scars from cooking etc. and this creme has faded them all to the point you can hardly see they were there. I use it nightly right before bedtime. No real noticeable scent. Will def. repurchase even though it is rather pricey for a hand cream. Unfortunately the site lists this as being discontinued. Of course its my favorite. :(
Treatments (Eye) -Chanel - Precision Ultra Correction Lift Eye Cream

I purchased sample sized tubes from eb and I love this stuff, does lift and firm the upper lid and performs much better than any other eye cream I have used. Will continue purchasing sample as I can't afford the ridiculous price for full size. cracks me up when 20 somethings give this a bad review. Wait till they're middle aged LOL.
LOL-I use this on my neck and it has really reduced the "tree trunk" lines. Since this is the strongest formulation thus far, and got it really cheap on amazon I am a happy camper! Also works on fine lines on upper lip and kind of makes the upper lip line more defined. This one is a keeper.
Primer/ Corrector -Korres - Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Face Primer
mu_atalltimes 12/5/2012 10:19:00 AM
Its just okay. Did not notice any anti aging benefits at all. Like my LM primer much better for a smooth look. Was wondering why people in their late teens and early 20's use anti aging items and review them? Any one looking to find an anti aging product isn't going to take those reviews seriously. It is comical. My suggestion to those in that age group is stay out of the sun and tanning beds and use a good sun block 24/7 and you won't need anti aging products in the near future.
