This product broke me out, will not use again. I liked the initial finish but it seems to settle into pores after a short amount of time and look cakey. Didn't last long on me at all. Maybelline's Dream Matte powder does a much better job. Also, I hates the fragrancy smell. The packaging and sifter are good but I felt like it would pop open in my purse if I were to bring it with me anywhere. Good price, but that's about it.

Brows -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Brow Kit

Awesome product!! This is my HG brow product, now! I just wish it came in some lighter colors as well. The powder is very pigmented and soft, fills in brows perfectly. The staying power is amazing!! The only thing I don't like is that it can be hard to draw a definite shape. I just draw the initial shape with a brow pencil and then use this palette to perfect the shape and fill everything in. The brush works well, but I suppose a better one can be used. I love the wax, it doesn't make my brows look fake and it holds hairs in place perfectly. The tweezers aren't the greatest but are cute and convenient in the palette. I will definitely purchase this again because it's the best brow product that I've used so far that goes on smoothly and lasts all day and it was dirt cheap!!!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette - Sand Castle - 396 [DISCONTINUED]

I must say, I really love this eye shadow palette!! I wasn't sure if I would because they're colors that I don't normally wear, but they really are beautiful colors, work well with each other and blend really well. They are highly pigmented, have just the right amount of shimmer, wear really long (15 hours now!) and don't crease! I'm in love!! You can't beat the price, either!! I love the white color and use it at my tear duct and also sometimes to line my entire eye to help brighten up my eyes. I love it!!

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'n' Soft waterproof mascara (vitamin E)

I love this mascara, this is definitely HG!! I have naturally pretty long and curled dark lashes so I avoided wearing mascara for a long time because I hate how they clumped my lashes together, made my lashes feel uncomfortable and gave me raccoon eyes. I tried several mascara before this one and didn't like any of them....I recently discovered this site and found this mascara. It's one that I probably wouldn't have ever reached for at the store with all the other ones that say 10x fuller lashes, etc. and it was the very bottom of the shelf but it truly is amazing for me!! FINALLY a mascara that doesn't clump! It doesn't leave any little clumps on my lashes and doesn't clump my lashes together. It gives me beautiful, perfectly separated, natural-looking (but much better!) full and soft lashes just as it claims to do! My lashes feel comfortable and soft, not hard and sticky and they are beautifully fanned out and separated. Because the mascara is waterproof, it has amazing staying power and doesn't flake off. If I sleep in it, I do get a bit of raccoon eyes, but that is to be expected. However, when I'm awake, the mascara stays on from morning until night, which is definitely HG material for me! I also love the fact that it has vitamin E in it to help make my lashes healthier. It is a little harder to take off but I find using plain eye makeup remover pads works really well. The mascara doesn't really add length and doesn't give that "false lash effect" but it doesn't claim to do that and since I already have pretty long lashes, I don't mind that at all. It's the perfect mascara to wear to work because it's not overly dramatic and fake-looking. For a falsh-lash effect, I'm going to try to get a different mascara, but this one is one that I will definitely use on a daily basis!

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Infallible Lip Colour Duo

I love this lip color! They have beautiful, shimmery colors and it goes on beautifully and lasts all day long. I don't use the top coat, however, as I find that I get way better staying power using a sparkly gloss over top.I like to use Rimmel Mirror-Shine lip gloss. It accentuates the color of the lip color, makes it last all day, moisturizes my lips beautifully and adds even more shimmer and shine! It's also really cheap and lasts a lot longer than the top coat. With the two products, my lips stay beautiful all day and I don't have the dryness and chapped lipped problem that some users are reporting. My lips are actually always very smooth and soft after I take off the product. Absolutely love it!!

Liquid -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Makeup

This is the foundation that I use on a daily basis. I tried several and it's hard for me to find one that I like and I like this one a lot. It provides a nice, even, medium coverage and is very blendable. I can easily apply concealer over it and it works well to blend with my concealer to help even out my skin and fill in my acne scars. I use Maybelline Dream Matt powder to set it and it helps it last a long time. I have oily skin, so my skin tends to look shiny after a while but with this makeup, even after touching up, it doesn't look cakey and doesn't accentuate pores. It doesn't make me break out but it doesn't clear up my acne either. I still like using it, though and will continue using it until I can find something I like better.

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

The is the powder that I currently use on a daily basis. I am experimenting with others, though, but at the moment it's the one that works best for me. I have very oily skin and I find that this powder helps set my foundation, give my skin a nice matt finish and lasts a long time. I do need to touch up during the day, but when I do, my makeup looks refreshed again, without looking cakey. I like how soft of a finish it provides and how easily it goes on. I use a kabuki brush to put it on so I would prefer if the mirror was on top, not underneath the compact since I throw out the pad that it comes with anyway. I definitely like the feel, coverage, and price and will continue to purchase until I can find something that helps my makeup last all day (if that's possible!) Going to try some silica powder next!

Moisturizers -Skin Biology - Emu Oil for skin

My review is for Emu Oil in general. I use 100% pure triple-refined Australian Emu oil off of eBay for my skin and hair and I use Emu Oil Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Stimulator Vitamins (also off ebay) for my hair. For Skin: I have been using the pure emu oil on my skin for about two months. The trick is to use very little, only two-three drops. I find that if I use only a little and apply it under moisturizer, it does not break me out. I like how it moisturizes and calms my skin. It speeds up healing and makes wounds heal better. I do use it all over my face without much of a problem and I am very-acne prone. It helps scars fade faster and evens out skin tone. It has also made my skin thicker in some areas and less prone to breaking out. The skin on my forehead is noticeably thicker and smoother. It's the only area where I only need to use a small amount of foundation and no concealer, it is getting close to perfect! The other areas of my skin have improved as well. For Hair: I CANNOT live without Emu oil for my hair!!!! It is absolutely my HG for hair! I have very thin, very slow-growing and dry hair. I was getting very depressed because my hair hardly grew at all in the past 5 years! I also had a very itchy scalp. The first thing I noticed after using the shampoo & conditioner was that my scalp no longer itched, it just felt calm. After a few days, I noticed a big difference in my hair in general. It has become thicker, softer, smoother, shinier and fuller! After two months of using the stuff, my hair has NEVER felt and looked this good! AND my hair FINALLY started growing! it has grown an inch in the past two months, which is HUGE for me!! I am sooooo happy I discovered this for my hair, it has literally saved my hair! I even colored it (so I can measure the roots) and my hair still looks good! I also recently started using the pure Emu oil as a hair serum and it is amazing!! The best thing I have ever used to smooth out my frizzies!!! All I do is put two-three drops into the palm of my hand, rub my hands together and then gently run my hands through my dry hair. It smooths out and frizzies and makes my hair even softer and thicker! I then straighten my hair for beautiful silky, smooth straight hair. I barely even have any split-ends anymore! As long as you don't use a lot, it doesn't weigh your hair down at all and doesn't make your hair feel greasy or oily. I truly am so happy I discovered this product for hair, I read that it also thickens the skin on your scalp and helps deter greying, I don't really know if it does that yet but if it does, that's a bonus!!!

Love this set!! I use the mini kabuki and larger brush on a daily basis. The larger brush is awesome for my powder, it's so soft and the perfect size. The mini kabuki is perfect for my purse for touch-ups during the day. Both brushes apply powder very evenly and have really soft bristles. Absolute must-haves!
