Eye Shadow -Milani - Sheer Sand
msannw 12/3/2007 6:50:00 AM
Nice subtle shimmery highlighter color when applied sheerly. As with other Milani shadows, it is pigmented, hence why I added when applied sheerly. Nice smooth texture that is easy to work with and blend. Got it for dirt cheap...$1.50 on clearance. Would definitely buy again if I ever run out!

Eye Shadow -Milani - Antique Gold #17
msannw 12/3/2007 6:48:00 AM
VERY pretty color. In the pot and when you initially put it on, it is a very pretty shimmery olive greenish gold. After a couple hours, it turned more gold than the olive....BEAUTIFUL!!! As with all Milani e/s, this is VERY pigmented. I found it to be long lasting (8+ hours until creasing/wearing off) with using Wet n Wild Champagne Toast (in a tube) as my primer. It is dirt cheap...I found it on clearance for $1.50. I am going back this week to see if they have more! Will definitely buy again if I ever run out!

Blush -Maybelline - Retro Rogue
msannw 11/25/2007 1:52:00 PM
This is an LE blush by Maybelline. It is geared toward those with darker skin tones. I am medium/fair, with my foundation color being Revlon Colorstay in Nude and Early Tan combined. This blush is a warm brownish mauve with a very subtle shimmer. It is definitely pigmented so you do need a light hand. Definitely one I will use as a neutral/brownish blush. If I ever run out I will buy again.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaEyes Creme Eyeshadow - #196 Champagne Toast
msannw 11/21/2007 5:37:00 PM
LOVE this as my eyeshadow primer! Someone the MUA board suggested this as an inexpensive eyeshadow primer. Inexpensive is definitely the key....I paid 95 cents for mine. I LOVE it. My shadows are lasting 10+ hours every day, even today when I wore ELF AND it was pouring rain. I also like it as a sheer color on my "no makeup" days. For those who say it is too shimmery, you are probably using too much. I use a small dot and have not found it too shimmery at all. My local store has them clearanced for the 95 cents....I am going back tomorrow to buy the last 3 if they are still there!

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Non-Stop Eye Color - Silver Lining
msannw 11/21/2007 5:24:00 PM
First off, I will say that the only reason I took 1 lippie off was for the packaging/small size. The price is right on this....only $1. It contains 4 colors....a very pale color (white I think), a shimmery/iridescent pink, a somewhat shimmery purple, and a somewhat sparkley dark silver. Where people are getting that there are 2 purples, I am not sure. Anyways, I wore this today for the first time. I used WnW Champagne Toast as my primer. Ten hours later and no creasing or fading. I used the silver to line, the pink and the purple on my lid, and the white to highlight on my brow. Nicely pigmented, had no problems getting it out of the package using my brushes. I am going to like this to use this winter as a "fun" casual look with my grey sweatshirts. I will definitely purchase this again in this and other colors.

Blush -Rimmel - Blush in Sienna
msannw 11/18/2007 2:35:00 PM
This is a very nice neutral color on me. Up until now, I had been using Cover Girl Cheekers in Natural Twinkle as my neutral but now will be using this. It is definitely a lot less shimmery than Apricot. Nicely pigmented-not too sheer, not too heavy. It does seem to me that it is a pink base as opposed to a peach base, which suits me anyways. I also want to say that I got this for totally dirt cheap! My local retailer had the whole Rimmel line for 50% off AND I had $1 coupons I had bought on eBay. So I paid less than 50 cents for this blush. Will definitely buy again!!!

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Concentrated Duo - Devious #336
msannw 10/15/2007 4:41:00 PM
I love this duo! It is an olive shimmer with and very subtle gold shimmer to it and a brown that is a coppery gold shimmer. It is also a nice color that you can go sheer with it or build it up. I have light/medium skin, brown hair, and hazel eyes that change colors. My eyes happened to turn green the first time I wore this and WOW! Did my eyes pop!!! I also used the shimmery beige from the WnW Golden Shimmers Palette as a wash over the whole eye. The color lasts a while, it was a good 10 hours before it even looked like it was starting to crease. Will definitely buy again!!!

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara Waterproof
msannw 10/2/2007 6:59:00 PM
I bought this in Very Black. I love how it goes on, very smoothly, easy to apply, MUCH better than the clumpy Unstoppable. I love how it makes my lashes look. However, within 4 hours, I have raccoon eyes. That is a HUGE minus for me. I have found that a mascara by Wet n Wild lasts longer than this. The raccoon eyes is the only reason I took any lippies off, otherwise it would be HG material. I wont buy again...thank God I bought it on sale and with a coupon so it was only $3.

Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Passion Fruit Smoothie
msannw 9/30/2007 3:19:00 PM
I LOVE this shampoo! For 75 cents (4/$3), it ROCKS for a cheapie shampoo. The scent is out of this world....I even use it as my shower gel when I use this shampoo. The scent is not over powering at all, very fruitie like. Great lather. Doesn't weigh my hair down. I have normal hair and no chemical processing, btw. I used my el cheapo $1 Rave mousse and it was fine. Even the next day it was fine, not greasy or anything. Definitely one of the "fun"shampoos I am going to keep on hand.

Lip Gloss -L.A. Colors - Lip Gloss - Blushing Pink
msannw 9/26/2007 8:48:00 PM
Worst lipgloss I have ever used. Is very thin. Feels like glue on my lips. Has ZERO staying power. Smells like I don't even know but it isn't good. I threw it away an hour after buying it. Will NEVER buy it, or any other LA Colors lip glosses again!

Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Ivory Soap
msannw 9/26/2007 8:36:00 PM
It may be 99 44/100% pure, but whatever that 56/100% that ISN"T pure is, I am allergic to. I used this only one time and ended up in ER with an allergic reaction so bad that I couldn't get my contacts out of my eyes, my eyes were that swollen shut. I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone using this on their face....or their body for that matter. It is honestly one of the worst products I have ever used in my life.

Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Tea Therapy Smoothing Shampoo
msannw 9/26/2007 4:14:00 PM
WOW! I LOVE THIS!!! I used it for the first time today and I am quite impressed. Nice lather in the shower, rinsed out easily, literally left my hair squeeky clean. I have no chemical processing in my hair and it is normal, btw. I used this with no conditioner then used my Guts mousse and despite being a humid rainy day, my hair is still beautiful! The smell is AWESOME!!! It is very similar to Bath and Body Works Green Tea and Cucumber, which I wore today after using this shampoo. The price cant be beat (got it at 4/$3). Will DEFINITELY be buying this again!!!!!!

Lip Gloss -Avon - Glazewear Sparkle in Rave
msannw 9/26/2007 1:42:00 PM
Since the last review, the formula of this lipgloss must have been changed. I found it to be a nice, pale pink (actually barely any color) with a subtle glitter/shimmer to it. There were no chunks of glitter as mentioned before. I like this to wear on a day when I want a no-makeup look day. It lasts a fair amount of time, at least on me. At times, I have problems with lipsticks and glosses lasting more than an hour but this surpasses that. Also, I have found that this is the perfect gloss to add on top of Avon's Perfect Pink lipstick. That lipstick really IS the perfect pink and this gloss gives it a nice shimmer. At $1.99 each, it is definitely worth buying again!!

Tinted Moisturizer -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer - Natural
msannw 9/20/2007 6:03:00 PM
I decided to try this when I had some splurge money. My local Rite-Aid had WnW for 40% so I took advantage of the sale in more ways than one :) I am light/medium skin tone with dark blonde hair and hazel eyes. Just for reference, my HG foundation is Revlon Colorstay, nude and early tan combined. This is good as a casual foundation when you just want very minimal coverage. If you put a ton on, then yes it will be more like a foundation as other reviewers have complained about. I did find though that it wasn't moisturizing. I didnt use moisturizer like usual (Clean and Clear Dual Action) and it seemed like it made my skin dry. It is definitely something I will keep on hand for those days I am just staying at home but want to at least even my skin tone out a bit.

Blush -Cover Girl - Cheekers in Natural Twinkle
msannw 9/20/2007 5:56:00 PM
This is a nice neutral blush. I have light/medium skin, dark blonde hair, and hazel eyes, and this shows up as a subtle color. Good for those days you want to wear just enough of the basics so you don't look like a ghost :) It is sheer so you do need to build it up. Definitely one I will buy again, if my current one ever runs out.
