Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Spectrum - Coconut Oil

This is the holy grail for calming my frizzy, thick, naturally wavy hair. I'm blonde and I've read that blondes have more strands of hair than other types, typically very fine though. This is true for me and it's difficult to keep it in nice condition simply because even though I'm a natural blonde I have to highlight to keep it as light as it was when I was a child. In conjuction with using only Redken lightener (I've found is less damaging than even Aveda's) I love to use unrefined coconut oil by spectrum whenever my hair isn't feeling up to par. I just had a baby, so my hair has been more combination- oily at the roots and dry at the ends. I was just looking up aveda reviews and before spending more cash, I remebered my beloved coconut oil. I took a scoop out and rubbed it in my hands to bring it to liquid form, rubbed it all over my hair. I use quite a bit because I know it will wash out from experience. The moisture is amazing. Yes you have to take your time and really shampoo your hair. I use Wen (co washing) conditioner to remove it and it works like a charm. If you don't use Wen, you can use regular shampoo and conditioner and remember to rinse rinse rinse with cool water. The results are shiny bounce back hair. Expect the scent to linger in your hair and make you feel like you've returned from a tropical vacation. Yum.
Toners -Shiseido - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Balancing Softener Enriched

I received this from Santa, and he did not know I have sensitive skin. Therefore, this had too much alcohol for my liking, and provided no benefit at all. Santa got it right by getting me the rest of the line, though... so we are still on good terms. :) It gets 2 stars because it have lovely packaging and I really wanted to like it. Bottom line, I do not value toners at all. This is no exception. The creams in this line are amazing, however.
Santa brought me a good gift- this eye cream along with rest of the line! I LOVE this eye cream and the day/night cream that go along with it. The softening toner had too much alcohol for my sensitive skin, and the cleanser is just okay (exact dupe of Estee Lauders cream cleanser, INMHO) so if you are looking for the ultimate luxurious skin care line, this would be it. If I could only afford one of the three creams I would pick this eye cream, hands down. The day cream is #2 because of the added benefits of sunscreen and the hydration it offers, and the night cream last because well, who doesn't love a rich night cream? Now that I've got some fine lines, I really do realize how much sleep effects these lines. It reminds me I need to invest in more frownies....
Love love love this mascara! I've tried many others and this is it for me. I am a natural blonde with lots of warmth (red highlights) and the black works for me. The other day someone told me I have really long eyelashes. While I do, if I didn't wear this mascara no one would notice my "white" eyelashes. Expensive but worth it!
Lip Treatments -Blistex - Complete Moisture Lip Balm

I own this in an updated version in a blue squeezable tube. I really like this during the winter and wear it underneath my lipstick or gloss. I like this MUCH better than Burt's Bees lip balm.
I've been using Mac's Strobe Cream since the beginning of time (10 years plus) and I still love it as much as I loved it then! This product worn underneath your makeup (on your cheeks and forehead) will give you that hollywood glow. It's really not meant to be a moisturizer, it's a highlighter. Don't expect a ton of shimmer, which is why it's ingenious. It's a natural glow and you can layer more to have a more dramatic glow.
Love Love Love! Own this in 03 Wheat shade which matches my naturally blonde brows perfectly! I used to use a pencil, but I found this powder looks more natural and the brush that it comes with is VERY nice and handy.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad - Pink Chocolate

I'm really becoming a Clinique Girl! Great combination of pinky browns. Love the shimmer in the pink and how all the colors gradually work together to make my blue eyes pop.
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
mrsbigsky 1/29/2012 6:33:00 PM
I'm going to spoil all the good reviews! Sorry but there is nothing lasting about Lasting Finish Foundation by Rimmel. Plus the warm ivory in 102 is too dark for my ivory skin. So the combination of the two equals a bad match for me. While this is a thicker consistency, it does not cover as well as other similar drugstore formulas such as Revlon's Colorstay or even CG's clean makeup.
Conditioner -Wen by Chaz Dean - Fig Cleansing Conditioner

You get for what you pay for. This is a REALLY awesome product! I love it, my husband loves it, my daughters ages 4 and 2 love it. (believe it or not my four year old has hair like an adult, and it leaves her thick hair slippery and tangle free) This is so nice. I would have never tried it but I stayed at my SIL's and she had it in her shower. I was so excited to try it and was blown away by the result I got in just the first use. Loved it so much I bought it on QVC in the large gallon size. This is my favorite beauty product of 2011.
This is a review for the shy lipstick on one end and mystic lipgloss on the other. (2 in one applicator). It's called gloss longtemps SPF 15. I love the color of 76 shy lipstick, as it is moisturizing and beautiful rose shade. The gloss on the other end (mystic) is too dark to wear over the light rose shade because it is a burgundy color on. Both pretty shades, just can't be worn together which defeats the whole purpose.
Lipstick -Clinique - Chubby Stick - Super Strawberry
mrsbigsky 1/29/2012 2:40:00 PM
I just don't get it. It's like when they came out with chubby eye liners.. This really doesn't do anything. No color. No shine. No reason to purchase. Ever.
Lip Gloss -Smashbox - Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss SPF 15 - Infinite
mrsbigsky 1/29/2012 2:36:00 PM
Beautiful lip gloss, although not perfect. Appearances are deceiving, and this comes on much lighter than you would imagine. Lovely light peach shade. Still, I love smashbox lip glosses because they are high quality and last forever. This is no exception. It has SPF 15 which is an added bonus! Feels almost like a lip treatment when you have it on!
STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT A NATURAL LOOK I'm disappointed with this color. I've purchased Mac's lipglass before and I thought this was a shade that would be compatible with my fair skin and natural blonde/golden hair but NO. This looks way to barbie doll trashy to wear. Does not look natural. I rushed and bought this without trying on, and I regret that! I do think this would look lovely on a cool toned woman with darker hair and smokey eye. Just not for my coloring.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine gloss in Cherry Bomb

Got this as a free GFP and loved it so much I bought the 16 fl oz size. I do not remember what I paid but it was well worth the money. This is not as "hot pink" on as it appears, so don't worry about it being too bright. It will make your teeth look instantly whiter and plump up your lips! I love products that do several things in one swipe! Great purchase, will purchase again, 5 lippies!
