Eye Shadow -Pout - Miss January

This duo looked gorgeous both on the website and in the pan. I was expecting a grey shimmer and a turquoise shimmer from the descriptions. The grey goes on more steel blue with a lot of pigment and shimmer. The turquoise/teal shade had too much blue and not enough green so it was more like a very shimmery blue. The colors were just not what I expected and way too much for me as a PPP. It might look good on someone with a darker skin tone. It just seemed..tacky I guess for lack of a better word.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Snow Bunny

I was expecting maybe a little more color in something described as a *bronzer* but it's still very pretty and useful. I love the compact and the powder gives such a nice golden shimmer. I'm not good with liquid highlighters so this is exactly what I needed. I've been applying with my Flirt! skunk brush so I'll probably try a regular blush/bronzer brush to see if it picks up more color. A little goes a long way so I doubt I'll need to repurchase. For reference, I'm a PPP with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

Palettes -Stila - winter bloom palette in fire bloom

It's really gorgeous in the pan and once I was able to wear it I wasn't quite as impressed as I thought I'd be but I still do love it and will keep it. I don't have a lot of Stila to begin with so people with more of a collection might feel differently. The middle shade (the gold-ish one) turned kinda orange on me so I plan to apply more sheerly next time to see if that helps. The blush is def not nearly as dark as it looks in the pictures. I'm a PPP for reference with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. I didn't mind the packaging of the palette either. The darker two shadows of this palette are very similar to the middle two shadows of the Golden Moon palette but I did find the Fire Bloom shadows to be a little more sparkly.

Palettes -Stila - Golden Moon--Holiday 2005

I'm not sure if Golden Moon and Fire Bloom are really worth having both but I don't have a lot of Stila so I decided to go for it. :) It's a toss up which I like more between this and Fire Bloom though. The 2 darker shades in Fire Bloom and the 2 middle shades in Golden Moon really are very, very similar. Fire Bloom seems more sparkly though. The lightest shade in Golden Moom is pretty generic but a good base for the other colors. I LOVE the darkest shade in the is palette though...such a pretty plummy-brown. I actually really liked the lip colors in it and the carmel shimmery color smells devine. The brushes were okay but not the greatest quality. The eye brushes weren't as soft as they should be. The lip brush is okay. It really is a very pretty palette which I think is a good value for the money.

Lip Gloss -Flirt - Squeeze Me Super Shiny Lipgloss in Radical Raspberry

I LOVE this gloss! The sqeeze tube is great and the smell is wonderful. It leaves a pink flush color that's not too over the top and really enhances my natural lip color. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's not sticky at all!

Moisturizers -Dove - Sensitive Essentials Day Lotion

I really thought I'd like this product but sadly I dont. The price was fine and I liked the packaging (the top was kind of awkward though). But instead of moisturizing my skin, it made my already dry skin dryer. I tried the eye cream too and it dried my eyes out even more. I guess the Dove line just doesn't work for me.
