Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Retin A Micro

I could deal with the flaking stage. I just used ProActive's tea tree oil moisturizer since it went on clear. Any moisturizer that looked white before "settling in" tended to make the flakes on my face look worse. The problem for me was that after the flakes settled down, I noticed that the blemishes I did get would disappear only to leave marks on my flesh. The blemishes I got before this product rarely, rarely left dark marks on my face; nearly ALL the blemishes I got while using this product went dark. It's been at least six months and I still have slight brown marks in 4-5 places from the period when I was using this product. I went back on Minocycline after this and then decided to go natural. If I eat limited wheat and sugar, sleep right, and take 50g zinc tablets my face is close to perfect. So. I'll stick with that.

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Sensuous Noir

I received a free sample of this product and loved it. I don't really like the first scent, but within half an hour it has calmed down enough for me to quite pleased while still remaining engaging. It also seems to last forever; I can still smell a hint of it if I sniff my wrists 40 hours later!

Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Crystal Roll-On Body Deodorant

I used the stick version initially, but was not a fan. But I love the roll on version! No streaks, no bad chemicals, no issues, etc. I have the pomegranate version, and I LOVE the smell. Admittedly, I do re-apply a few times throughout the day, but I live in AZ...so that's life if you're not using an anti-perspiration.

Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Crystal Body Deodorant Stick

I used it consistently for two months and it worked without leaving those annoying little white marks. Since it also wasn't causing cancer like most other deodorants, I was rather pleased. But it took too much effort to make it wet when I just wanted to throw some on before I left the house (I know, I'm lazy). So, I stopped using it and moved on to the same brand roll on. Which I love! Admittedly, I don't really mind being smelly during and post work-out, so I don't even put on deodorant during those times...so can't speak to it effectiveness during heavy sweating.

Eyeliner -Almay - Liquid Eyeliner

I initially quite liked this eye liner. Though I struggled to create a straight line, I was confident with practice that issue would fade. And, yes, it stung a bit for a few minutes afterwards...but such is the price of beauty! Or so I thought. Because then I was at my Borders reading a book a solid hour of applying the liner. I was in the store for a good three hours. It was a wee bit hot and humid but nothing drastic. My eyes began to hurt a bit, but I thought nothing of it...mainly because the book was so good. But when I stood up to go buy it, suddenly my eyes were not merely uncomfortable, they were BURNING. I walked as fast as I could out of that store, combating a deep desire to rub my eyes to make the pain STOP, but not wanting to look insane. I ultimately rubbed them and then threw on some sunglasses. My eyes at this point were streaming liquid as if I was sobbing because they were so irritated. That was in DC during Spring. I'm now in Arizona. There is no way in hell I'm risking that eyeliner near my eyes again.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

I was stuck inside for two weeks, so I stopped using this product. After two weeks, my skin looked dull, lifeless, and uneven. I plopped some on, took a walk in the sunshine (15 minutes top) and the next day was shocked my how much better my face looked. Admittedly, the sun also even out my skin tone and generally makes me look better, so I should really do some sort of experiment with sun exposure without this and sun exposure with it...but I'm not really willing to risk a few days of dried out, burned skin just to test this. Anyway, this product is a total win for me because of my concern about skin cancer, the moisturizing (usually the sun dries me out), its protection from sunburn, the fact it doesn't make me break out, and because it is easy to lock it when I have to travel.

Concealers -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Spot Concealer

Unless I've been poking at my spots or they're flaking, this concealer hides them well. But I always make sure to apply my moisturizer BEFORE using this, as otherwise it dries a wee bit too quick for me and blending it can be a trial. I know my face responds well to salicylic acid, so it also helps my spots go away quicker. I also use this concealer to hide hickeys with great results. My boyfriend has actually watched me apply this and exclaimed at its effectiveness. He's jealous :P

I've been buying this prodcut for 8+ years. Every once in a while I'll use it on my face, but my main use with it is my legs. I get ingrown hairs and other nasties from shaving, but if I exfoliate with this lovely product (plus a pumice stone) before and after shaving then all those issues magically disappear. Without this product, I would not shave. Period. I love it.
