Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Shimmer Strips Gel Creamliner (all)
morganito 6/25/2011 12:10:00 AM
I have 2 of these both for hazel eyes (the glam, and the regular one). I have tried a few cream liners, Maybelline (hates smeared) stila smudge pot (good but to $$ for me) and wet n wild (loved but wanted to try something new). I got these on sale, and with a coupon, so I paid very little for them, but I would pay full price if I had too. The price is actually great considering you get 3 liners and a decent brush (I still use my own, but I like having it as a back up brush).I think they are around 10 bucks. the liners them selves are great, pigmented smooth, and they wear so well for me. No smudging flaking or anything. They make making a cat eye super easy. And I love the fact I get three different colors per set to do bold, natural and flashy looks. I can't wait to try other colors. The packaging is nice I like that they are all individually packaged yet snap together, I can take one and it's small enough to throw into my purse. I have had this for a few months now and they haven't dried out (knock on wood). I will be repurchasing in the future for sure.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express One by One
morganito 4/16/2011 7:46:00 PM
let me preface by saying that I am a mascara junkie, yet I don't want to pay a lot for one tube, and I expect a lot out of my mascara. I like length but what good are long lashes if it looks like you only have 3 of them? So I must have volume as well. I want it to hold curl, not flake, clump or smudge. Impossible right? Not so, I have found this mascara meets my requirements fairly well (not perfect but I ask a lot). I bought this in very black waterproof. The price is good, I got mine on a 40% off sale (so it was even better). Packaging is ok, I don't really care about packaging as long as whats inside works. I love the brush, big rubber brush, it grabs and separates my lashes with no clumps or spider legs. The formula is not to wet or dry, no offensive smell, very black and does not weigh my lashes down after I curl them. No flakes (even after combing through them with a metal eyelash comb) no smudging after a long day (even a nap). it makes my lashes look fuller and a bit longer, so I am happy. I have tried a lot of mascara, (cover girl lash blast, lash blast fusion, full and soft, lash stiletto voluptuous, colossal, stila major lash and lash visor) and this one is my current favorite.

Lotions/ Creams -eos - revitalizing care hand and body lotion in nourish
morganito 3/10/2011 12:48:00 PM
I love eos products and this one bar far is my favorite. Not so much for myself, it is a good lotion for me, but for my 6 yr old son. He has chronic dry skin, his doctor said he's fine we just have to moisturize more than most, and I have tried every brand I can think of. This is the only one that made any kind of long term difference,. right away from he first use his skin was softer and less sand paper-ish. I love that it's more natural than other brands, the packaging is normal, a nice pump bottle, it has a soft fresh scent, and is light weight and non greasy yet moisturizes well. his skin feels good days after I use it, unlike others where it feels good for a few hours after than goes back to being rough. The price is a bit high (7.99) but I would gladly pay it if it keeps working as well as it does. I do use this for myself, especially after using the shave cream from eos, my skin feels soft after using it. But for the benefits to my son alone, I will continue buying this lotion!

Lotions/ Creams -eos - Everyday Hand Lotion
morganito 3/10/2011 12:36:00 PM
Love this! I love every eos product I have used and this is no exception. I am a little obsessed with hand creams, so when I saw this on the eos website I knew I had to try it. At about 4 bucks for a small thing it's a bit pricey,. but worth it. I got the refresh one, and it has a light almost floral scent to it, not very strong, almost clean smelling, I am not sensitive to smells so this does not bother me. It is a light lotion, non greasy, fast absorbing and makes my hands softer and look healthier. It is small and compact that it can fit anywhere, and I mean anywhere, I have put it in my back pocket and it fits perfectly, but I generally keep it in my vanity or purse (I need to buy a few more to stash around my house). Overall this is a wonderful product, I love that it is more natural than other brands, and will continue to buy this for as long as they make it.

Hair Removal -eos - Shave Cream Ultra Moisturizing Pomegranate Raspberry
morganito 3/10/2011 12:32:00 PM
why does it seem I always like the products everyone hates? Anyway, I actually really like this shave cream, I started off with the lip balm spheres, which I love. Then I saw on their site this stuff, the first one I bought was the pom raspberry one, the smell is wonderful, and it does make my legs softer after I use it. I only have to use about 2 pumps per leg, so that's not an issue for me. The bottle is great cause it doesn't rust, I love the pump, and the fact that it is more natural than other brands. The price is a bit higher, but not much, so I will keep buying for as long as they make this stuff, I have also used the sensitive skin one, and I like it just as well as this one.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - ColorIcon Palette in #249 Vanity [DISCONTINUED]
morganito 1/22/2011 2:37:00 PM
I am really impressed with Wet N Wild lately, I have this palette and I could not be happier with it. The colors are really soft, and blend well, they are pigmented and really easy to work with and make a lot of looks with one little palette. it has 3 matte shades and 3 shimmer shades, I haven't used the shimmer ones much but the matte ones are my go to easy soft neutral eye look. The packaging is good, not ground breaking but nice and sturdy. The brushes suck as usual, but who really uses them anyway? The price of course is right, about 4 bucks and sometimes less if you can catch a sale. I would buy again, and will buy the others as well, keep it up Wet N Wild....

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - I'm Getting Sunburned
morganito 1/15/2011 1:34:00 PM
I am kinda crazy for cheap drug store finds, so when I heard about these new trios from Wet N Wild, I knew I had to find them. I have already tried the singles, and I have 2 of the bigger 6 shadow compacts and loved them. I knew that the Wet N Wild was on sale this week at Walgreens, 50% off, so I stopped at my favorite one and hoped for the best. The had 5 out of the 6 trios (all but I dream of greenie) I picked up 3 of them, Silent treatment, spoiled brat and this one, I'm getting sunburned. This one has a gold color for the lid, it is very soft and pigmented and has loads of shimmer, I normally shy away from shimmer, but I had to have it. the crease color is a deep chocolate brown, with s slight shimmer to it. Very pigment almost too much so, a little bit goes a very long way The highlight is a shimmery pink color, it seems an odd choice for a highlight, but it is pretty sheer, just a light hand gives a pretty light wash of pink under the brow bone. All the colors are soft and pigmented, they blend well and go nicely together. They have the place you are supposed to wear them embossed in them, so I just used them accordingly, and took some of the brown and put it on my lower lash line. They staying power is good, but I use a primer and a base shadow no matter what brand I am using. You can get a dramatic look or a more subtle look depending on how much product you use and how you place it. The packaging is good, pretty standard stuff really, it seems to close tightly, on the back it has directions which are pretty redundant as they have the embossing already on the shadow, but oh well. The price of course is always right, normally at my drugstore they are 2.99, which is a great deal as is, but with the sale, I got mine for 1.99. I am sure most stores have some kind of sale at any given time so you can usually get them for a super deal. Overall, I love these little guys, this one is so pretty and I think it would be great in the summer for a golden bronze look with a nice tan, Wet N Wild has impressed me, I will continue to buy these (and this trio) for as long as they make it. Wet N Wild has a customer for life in me, keep it up!

Liquid -Rimmel - Renew & Lift
morganito 12/31/2010 3:21:00 PM
I bought this on clearance at CVS I think. It was about 2.50, and I was looking for a foundation to take with me on vacation. I got the color pure ivory, which is lighter than I normally have to buy (maybelline 24 hour superstay in pure beige is my normal foundation) so it seems the colors run darker. I love that it has a pump, and the smell is actually nice, but i love floral scents and I am not overly sensitive to them. The application is nice, I only need a small amount to cover my whole face, and it blends well, I do use a sponge. the staying power isn't great, but it doesn't claim to be long wearing. I used this for about a week with no break outs. I tend to have an oily t-zone, and this doesn't seem to make it any worse or better. I will continue to use this till it's gone. I would repurchase but I think it's being discontinued, Overall I liked this foundation.

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm sphere -medicated tangerine
morganito 12/6/2010 12:57:00 AM
I have all of these little guys (except the LE pomegranate raspberry one) and i love them all. This one is no exception, the packaging is cute, it wont get lost in my make up drawer (I have these stashed everywhere, night stand, make up case, make up drawer, computer desk, purse) the texture is wonderful. The smell is ok, it does smell more like medicine than tangerine but I still like it. It makes my lips very smooth, and tingles a bit when first applied (but that fades quickly). It stays for a long time, but I still reapply often being winter and how much I love putting it on. Moisturizes well, and makes a great lip primer under gloss and lip stick. I will be buying these little guys forever! The price is a bit higher (about 3.50) and I have to order online or cross my fingers and hope my little rite aid gets them in, but so far I have had good luck.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Single - #255B Penny [DISCONTINUED]
morganito 12/1/2010 1:38:00 PM
Another winner form the color icon line! I love this shade, it is super soft and pigmented, it has a nice sheen (not glitter) and blends well. It can come off as more orange, but I like it, with a deeper red in my crease it creates a really pretty autumn look, like the leaves changing colors. The packaging kinda sucks, it's can be hard to open, but for the price (1.99) I am not complaining. Will buy again when I run out.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Single in Brulee
morganito 12/1/2010 1:35:00 PM
this is love! it's my favorite highlight shade ever! I got this at Walgreens for 1.99 a steal, it's small and the packaging is hard to open but that is a small price to pay. I use this everyday as a highlight, it is soft, pigmented, matte shade that works well for my skin tone. It blends well and it overall perfect. The only complaint is my first one I dropped and it shattered, I can still use it, but I bought another one anyway, and for the price I am not too upset.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon #252B Nutty
morganito 12/1/2010 1:32:00 PM
I bought this awhile ago due to all the good reviews. I have been on a wet n wild kick lately and I am loving them. I was hesitant at first, wet n wild brought back memories of bad bright blue eye shadow and sickly pink lipstick. This color is amazing, its a silvery taupe gray, it has a nice sheen, not glitter but a soft glowy look. The texture is soft, not too soft but perfect, nice pigmentation and it blends well. The packaging is rough I have a hard time getting mine open (I have this problem with the other single shadows from this line too) but for the 1.99 I paid I am not gonna complain. This is my go to shadow when I don't know what to do, or when I want a more subtle natural look, just this and brulee from the line as a highlight and I am good to go. Overall I would/will buy this again way to go wet N wild!!!

Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Petites Color Fever
morganito 9/16/2010 10:47:00 PM
I adore these little guys!! I started picking these up when I would go do my laundry at the local laundry mat (rite aid is walking distance and it kills time while my clothes are drying) . I now have 11 of them, and I love them all but one, diamond envy, and the color is just too frosty for me. They are pretty small for the price, as mentioned in other reviews, but if you wait till a bogo sale then you are good, I don't mind the price for a little bottle as I have about 100 polishes right now, so I doubt I am gonna run out any time soon. My favorite colors are creme blue, vintage gray periwinkle, black diamond, and fairy pink. They all go on smooth, with little to no streaking, color payoff is wonderful, 2 coats, and the dry time is no worse than any other polish. Wear wise, I can't really say as I change my polish almost daily. Overall these are a great drugstore find! I want them all, they are so cute!

Eye Shadow -NYX - Golden Orange
morganito 7/19/2010 3:42:00 PM
I bought this because I was looking for a cheap, bright orange to match my favorite nail color. I was at a fair, and they had a cosmetics booth with NYX stuff. I have never tried any of it I can never seem to find it in my drugstores, so I was all excited. I saw this one a about cried, it is perfect. The exact color I was looking for, so of course I bought it, and 2 others, they were 4.99 each. I am not sure if that's better or worse as far as price goes, I didn't mind it is cheaper then M.A.C so I am happy. The color of course is amazing, bright and vibrant, I used a primer and it lasted all day, the texture is soft, not chalky, not shimmery, just a nice sheen. Perfect summer shade, the packaging is fine, kinda wish it was round instead of square but oh well. I would repurchase again, when I run out. I love it!

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Lemon Drop SPF 15
morganito 7/15/2010 11:15:00 PM
I ordered this online after trying the summer fruit and honeysuckle honeydew ones. I searched around and could only find it online. I generally don't care for lemon products, unless I am cleaning with them, but this has the spf I was looking for for summer. It smells so yummy, not like cleaning supplies but like lemon pound cake. It is smooth (smoother than the other 2 I have) and is moisturizing (for me anyway) it doesn't last long, but I love applying it so I don't mind. Of course the packaging is to die for, and the price is ok, I paid 3 bucks and some change but I feel it is worth it. will be buying again...
