Luminous Lilac is my first puchase from the Color Sensational The Pearls line. This is a light (not really completely pale) lilacky pink shade with lots of pearl. It's smooth, not gritty even though it's packed with ultra-tiny pearly shimmery pieces. I have pale skin and dark hair, so this shade is perfect for me. This lipstick is as moisturizing and lasts as long as the original Color Sensational lipsticks. Most of the shades in this The Pearls line are very pale and many of the shades are very similar to each other. I think this shade would be perfect on anyone with pale or light skin. If you are tired of darker lipstick shades, give these a try. I also like the light pink and chrome tube these lipsticks come in. Overall, a "hit" with me! Would definitely repurchase.

Fragrances -Demeter - Very Cherry Cream Pick Me Up Cologne Spray

I found Demeter Jelly Belly Very Cherry Cream Pick Me Up Cologne Spray online at QVC.com but had never heard of it. I ordered it on a whim and am so glad I did! This one is a mixture of Jelly Belly Very Cherry, French Vanilla and Cream Soda (it even has a sticker on the side with a picture of these three jelly beans, pictured like they are a recipe). The scent is EXACTLY like a cherry, vanilla and cream soda scent. The scent even has a bit of an "effervescent", fizzy scent. It's a great scent. Foody and fruity at the same time. The scent, like most Demeter scents, is fleeting, but this one isn't QUITE as fleeting as many others. It's a strong scent right after you spray it and it does hang around for a bit. You will have to re-apply at a few points during the day, though, if you want the scent to last all day. This came in a 1 oz. spray glass bottle like many other Demeter sprays and was $20. I would definitely purchase this again, as the scent is great!

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Temptations Cherry Pie a la Mode 2-in-1 Lip Gloss

This is a double-sided gloss that has a cherry pie-scented gloss on one side and a vanilla ice cream-scented gloss on the other. The cherry pie side is a bright-ish cherry pink color that is a bit too much for my fair skin - but the color is still nice and would be perfect for those who don't mind a brighter, more bold color. The gloss and shimmer aspect are both outstanding though. The vanilla ice cream side is a clear-ish, white-ish glimmery gloss and is really nice as well - it helps to tone down the bright color of the cherry pie side. The two smell great together, and this gloss is not at all chapping or drying. The gloss lasts a bit. I bought two of these because I love the cherry pie scent so much!

Gels/Soaps -Bath and Body Works - Warm Chestnut Cheer

This is one of the best fall/winter/holiday scents that Bath & Body Works has ever brought out. The scent, to me, is a mixture of warm chestnuts, cherry pipe tobacco and burning autumn leaves. It's a warm, delicious scent but isn't as "nutty"-smelling as I thought it would be. It's much better, in fact! I like it a lot and am stocking up. As for the soap itself, it's the same as all of the other anti-bac soaps. A bit moisturizing and cleans well. Five stars!

Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Lip Gloss - Cherry Bomb

Cherry Bomb is a nice, super-sheer cherry red shade that anyone should be able to wear. I stay away from reds because I always think they are too dark and/or bright for me, but this is really sheer and just gives a tiny hint of red to my lips. I love the lasting power of the gloss (about an hour for me), and the gloss is non-sticky. The cherry scent and flavor are great too. I would definitely re-purchase this one!

I didn't think I would like this color but got it as a GWP and really like it. It looks somewhat boring in the tube, like it would be too sheer and would add nothing but gloss to my lips. However, it's super-shimmery and gives a nice shimmery finish to my lips wether I'm wearing lipstick or not. I wore it over lipstick today and love the silvery pink finish. I also wore it without lipstick and really like the slight pink, silvery gloss it gave my lips. The scent is more of a strawberries & cream scent and it's fairly strong. The gloss isn't sticky and lasts for a while. This is a surprisingly nice gloss from VS! I would re-purchase.

Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lips Lip Gloss in Amber

I got BE Buxom Lips in the Amber shade in a BE kit from QVC. At that time, Buxom Lips came just in that shade, but since then it has been introduced in two other shades as well. I like the performance of Buxom Lips - over the period of a few days, if you use it regularly, you will notice that your lips are a bit more plump (a BIT - nothing dramatic here). In general, your lips will look and feel a bit fuller. This is due to the ingredient Maxi-Lip, which is also in one of my HG lipsticks and lip gloss, LORAC Lotsa Lip. However, the Amber shade is far too pale and is nothing more than a peach-tinted clear gloss with a touch of gold shimmer that can't be seen outside of the tube. I am disappointed with the color but like the gloss. It's not sticky. It doesn't last, but few glosses ever do. Overall it's an average gloss. If the color were better and not so sheer, I would give this four lippies.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Rock Star

So far I have tried just a few LUSH soaps, but this is my favorite one so far. I love the candy-ish, addictive scent and the pink color. I'm not a big fan of the film it leaves on my skin, or the way it dries my skin out a bit. There also is not really enough lather for me. It's not a good product for me to use during the cold, dry winter months when my skin needs more help moisture-wise, so I will not be using this again until summer. Minus one lippie for the lack of moisture and lather, and minus one for the film it leaves. If it weren't for the scent, this would not be a good soap!

Powders -LUSH - Candy Fluff Dusting Powder

This dusting powder has the BEST scent of ALL time. It's candy-ish and delicious. It's like a candy scent for adults. I could truly smell like this every day for the rest of my life - I'd die happy. :) The performance of this dusting powder is good. It absorbs moisture, keeps me cool and dry and makes my clothes slip on quickly and easily after a shower, which is the main reason I use it. I could do without the clear iridescent sparkles and the gold metallic sparkles in this - they're useless and I am certainly too old for sparkles on my skin. Other than the sparkles, this is a top-notch body powder.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Alkmaar Soap

This is a great soap but the strong jasmine/honeysuckle/rose scent is one that I don't like at all, mainly because I hate jasmine which is the overpowering note. The soap performs VERY well, it lathers a bit better than the one other LUSH soap I've tried (Rock Star) and it moisturizes my skin without leaving a film. If you can handle the strong jasmine scent, you'll probably love this soap. If I can get used to the scent, I will buy this one again.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lip Varnish in Varnishing Rose

I ordered my MAC Lip Varnish online because I hate going to the MAC counter because there's always a long line there. So I try to order online when I can. This can be a problem, because it's a big gamble with shade/color selection. That's what happened to me when I ordered this shade, Varnishing Rose. This shade is described by MAC as "mellowed rose", and the swatch at their website shows a light to medium shimmery rose shade. In reality, it's a dark (and I do mean DARK) shade of rose with just a hint of shimmer.
As for the product itself, it's a lot like Lipglass to me, but there is a lot more pigment. It's smooth, extremely glossy and shiny (they named this product well!), applies easily, and lasts. I'm very pleased with how long the gloss, color and moisture last on my lips. This is why I say that it's a lot like Lipglass. However, I'm very disappointed in the color, as I now have to return it because I don't wear dark shades. Beware of the color swatches at MACCosmetics.com!
Also, this product smells great - sort of like cake batter. Not a repurchase for me only because of the color - but I will definitely purchase other, lighter shades!

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Temptations Crazy Caramel Corn Lip Gloss

This is an absolutely delightful lip gloss. First, it smells just like caramel popcorn...there's the popcorn note and the buttery caramel note. The scent is fairly strong, too. The gloss is very sheer and it's a very pale goldy peach shade. It has ZERO pigment on the lips but it does have a nice amount of shimmer you can see. This gloss is not sticky or thick and it's surprisingly good quality.
I would definitely purchase this one again. Stock up, as it's LE for the holidays.

A true Caramel Corn scent in a 3-in-1! I can't get enough of this scent. I smell the popcorn and the buttery caramel and it's great! The lather is good, but it's not really moisturizing. Stock up on this one, since it's LE for the holidays!
Five stars for being such a true and delightful scent.

I know this is a great scent to a lot of girls but I grew up in the 70's, and this smells JUST like the pepperminty lip balms I got at Christmastime every year as a kid. I've used this 3-in-1 a bunch of times and I think of those lip balms EVERY time I use it! I like this scent but I also think it's pretty fake smelling. It's a sugary, vanilla-ish, creamy peppermint scent and it's a nice change of pace. However, I still like Philosophy's Candy Cane better.
The lather is good, the scent is nice and it lasts on the skin a bit after my shower is over, but it's not really moisturizing.
I would probably purchase this again.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Pumpkin Pie Paradise Body Lotion

I really like this lotion but wish it were more moisturizing. It's about time retailers started to come out with foody-smelling products! This smells just like pumpkin pie and the scent is consistent and just right. The scent lasts quite a long time on my skin (longer than I thought it would). The only thing I would change about this product is that I would make it more moisturizing - the moisture is fleeting and not nearly heavy enough.
Also, this one is a good base for some of my etailer items, such as SP Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes perfume and any buttercream-scented product.
