Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Lots of Lashes
monsoon10 11/21/2012 10:34:00 PM
Giving this mascara a two is generous, and the only reason I'd ever rebuy it is because i like how dark it is (I have light eyelashes). The formula itself is goopy, and clumps good portions of the lashes together if you're not really careful. Can make the lower lashes look unattractively spidery in comparison to the top lashes. The brush is horrific. I actually pulled one of the standard brushes out of an old Great Lash bottle and use that instead, with this particular mascara. The brush is supposed to help you reach all your lashes, but it does exactly the opposite. When you're getting your outer lashes, the pointless little nub at the end mucks up the middle of the row of lashes. When you're trying to get smaller lashes, the bigger part of the brush messes up the rest of them. It's pretty ridiculous. All in all, I don't like this mascara too much. The formula is bad enough, but the brush is just hell to work with.

Polishes -Sinful - Sinful Professionals in #02 (Black on Black)

Everyone seems to love this polish so maybe I just got a horrible batch, because I found this polish to be absolutely dreadful. It's gooey, hard to apply, and really only looks good wet. Once it dries...ugh. I tried several shines over it, and even that didn't help. I'd use it under glitter or crackle polish, but by itself? Never again.

Polishes -Sinful - Sugar Sugar

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful nail polishes I've ever used. A deep, slightly darker than ruby red, with an excellent shimmer. Wears wells. I've only ever needed two coats for this polish. I've already used more than half the bottle from using this color all the time, and will definitely be buying more.

Polishes -Sinful - San Francisco

I've been looking for a rich, foresty green nail polish for ages. All the ones I've tried before have ended up as disasters. But this one is honestly the prettiest green nail polish I've ever seen. It's noticeable and pretty without being too out there, which is exactly what I like. I'm only giving it a four out of five because the formula itself isn't that great. The polish itself almost has the consistency of water, and it's very streaky when you first put it on. You have to give it a good three to four coats to bring out its full potential, maybe even five, just to be safe. Like most Sinful polishes, it starts to chip a bit after a few days, so I'd find a good top coat to protect it with. As a sidenote, it's definitely not as dark as it looks in the bottle, which unfortunately is what I was really hoping for. But it's still beautiful, regardless.

Polishes -Sinful - frenzy

I really have no experience with glitter polish besides what I've gained from Frenzy, so I'm not sure how this one can compare to others. But as far as I can tell, it's one of the best polishes I've ever bought, and looks gorgeous. I ended up using a very cheap purple nail polish as the base color (Funky Fingers - *shiver*), and Frenzy looked stunning over it. The blue and fuchsia sparkles really compliment the purple. Frenzy is probably one of the sturdier polishes I've tried from Sinful Colors, who's formulas often aren't that great, despite their beautiful colors. I only have the Sinful Colors pretty much useless top coat to protect the polish right now, so I can't really say how long it can last maximum. But I painted them two days ago and they're still looking great, and I've gotten several compliments.
