I read all of the reviews on all the different websites I could find, and all of them were raving about this perfume. After seeing the prices a vintage bottle of this stuff was selling for, I told myself I would have to be an idiot to even get a sample and see if I liked the smell of this... so... naturally, I bought a sample anyway. LOL. Much to my chagrin, I can now report I too have been sucked into the love affair with this perfume. Sigh. It smells soooo good. I have put it on two days in a row to make sure I really like it before I pay these absurd prices for it. Yesterday, I put it on then walked into the living room where my husband was sitting. He sat there for a second smelling the air and then said "That smells good." I asked him what smelled good, and he said, "Whatever you are wearing.. it smells good." That is amazing. My husband always says, "It's fine." or "I don't hate it." or "NO" whenever I ask him about new perfume scents. It does not give me a headache, and I am SUPER sensitive to perfumes. It's such an indescribable scent to me. I don't pick up on a lot of cinnamon, and every time I smell myself I feel like the perfume has evolved again, and I am picking up on different notes. Whatever they are, they smell great. Now off to buy a $300 50ml bottle on ebay.... :(

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Ed Hardy Villain

Granted, you cannot expect too much from Ed Hardy, since it is indeed a brand associated with douchebags.. however, I had heard a lot of good things about this perfume so I decided to give it a chance. No bueno. This bottle is hideous. It looks very cheap and tacky. The perfume itself immediately gave me a headache. It did not mesh well with my chemistry at all, and smelled over the top floral, and loud. I am not a fan at all...

I guess I just might be one of the only people on the planet that this does not smell good on, but I'm just not a fan. I have smelled it on others, and loved it, but on me it is too high pitched if that makes any sense. I feel like it gives me a one, two punch in the nostrils, and it leaves me with an intense headache for the rest of the day. Even with just one spray, it is waaaaaaaay too strong for my senses. I don't recognize it as a full bodied scent on me either. It smells really really fruity, with no bottom notes. Meh.

Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Lollipop

I'm OBSESSED with this color!!! It's so pretty and very bright! I've noticed a few women have done swatches of this lip color and for whatever reason the color has appeared very subdued. I don't know if they have horrible cameras, or they are barely touching the lip butter to their lips, but I do not find that those pictures are a good representation at all. On me, the color is a very very bold fushia. I also love the texture of this lipstick, and how moisturizing it is. I do not need to wear a gloss over it either, as it appears to have a shine on the lips. My new favorite lipstick for this spring/summer for sure!

This foundation is HORRIBLE!!! Maybe I am just spoiled by my airbrush makeup, but I thought this stuff was a hot mess. I have dry skin, so I bought the dry to normal formula. I moisturized, then applied the foundation using my Mac 109 brush. I've used this brush before with foundations like Christian Dior's Airflash foundation, and received flawless results. Anywhoo.. I immediately noticed it was too full of a coverage for me. My skin looked fake, but not in the "girl you're skin is flawless!" Kind of a way. It was more of a "honey, did you look in the mirror before you left the house?" Kind of a way. It was very clear I had on foundation. Now before you tell me I used too much, I used a pea size amount for my entire face. I decided I should use a different attempt, so I washed my face (hard as hell to wash off btw) then re-moisturized. Waited 10 minutes for it to sink fully in, then tried again..this time stippling it in and only buffing a little. I still look like a clown with too much makeup on. I thought to myself, "self.. maybe you can just use this as a nighttime foundation since it is so heavy." So, I decided to picture test it. In the house, and outside in the sun it matched my skin, however in a pic using flash... Dunn Dunn duuuuuhn.... white face. I'm over this foundation, and it is going back to the store. If you are used to wearing way too much makeup, then you might like it. If you aren't a fan of looking like a clown, my advice is move on...

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti

I love this color! It's a very pretty orange (which is THE lip color of 2013 btw). The smell is not bothersome, the texture is good, and it doesn't dry out my lips. My husband even complimented the color.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - designer skin obsidian

LOVE this tanning lotion though I ultimately prefer tingle lotions. I get a really dark, even tan with this. Consistency is silky smooth and super moisturizing. You can find it on amazon for around $50.

Sunscreen -Hawaiian Tropic - T2 Max Indoor Tanning Lotion

This "tanning lotion" is horrible. I usually tan really well but with this product I not only did not tan (used it on 4 tanning sessions), my skin dried out. I don't like the texture of the lotion, and its not allowed in tanning salons anyways. I was in a financial crunch and couldn't afford my usual Obsidian, so I tried this out. As usual, you get what you pay for. Keep your $10 and put it towards something not so cheap and worthless. Ugh....

This system is amazing. It took me a solid 6 months to finally get it down to a science, but I'm glad I kept trying. I found that a light day moisturizer is perfect underneath. Anything heavier makes it cakey and greasy looking. Anything lighter and my skin looks dull. I get lines under my eyes, but I learned that if I use a damp concealer brush to put light concealer under my eyes it gets rid of them. I love love love this system.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

This is my favorite mascara, and I have tried quite a few, up to and including Mac, Dior, and Lancome. Make sure when you are applying it you have the scooped side facing up. That is how they recommend you use it, and it is really only an excellent mascara when you do it that way. Other then that, I have not noticed any flaking (and I wear this everyday) or smudging (and i have extremely oily skin).

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Length

Worst mascara I have ever used. I have to put 5 coats of this on for it to even look slightly different from my lashes sans mascara. And even then, it flakes sooooooo bad. I end up with flakes all down and my face, and even worse, in my eyes. I see no volume, and no length. Only difference appears to be that my lashes are a darker shade. Yay! (sarcasm)

I know perfume is subjective, so my experience will not be the same as the next person's, but this is just awful on me. It went on smelling like straight up alcohol. After it settled it went flat and began smelling like a mix of baby powder and old lady. Not a flattering smell by any stretch of the imagination.

Packaging may be terrible, but this smells so clean and fresh on me. It smells exactly like soap. I love it. $20 at Ulta.

I love this foundation. Only pitfall is the price. Ladies: do not spray directly on your face! You will waste tons of product, and you wont get as good of results. Spray it on a foundation brush then buff it in to your skin. Make sure you are well moisturized; I have found that it will make your dry zones look worse. Other then that, the color matches me perfectly and does not "change" through out the day. It photographs very very well, and my skin looks wonderful. Even though its 5x the price of most drugstore brands, its worth it.

Shampoo -Alterna - White Truffle Shampoo

I am amazed at how disappointed I am in this product. I bought both the shampoo and conditioner thinking my hair would be in the best shape it has ever been, but in truth all I have noticed is the shine. It is not more manageable. I get way worse tangles then usual. It is not softer. My boyfriend says my hair smells like wet dog after I use it. Very sad considering the amount of money I paid for it! Save your money.
