I LOVE this powder! It is definitely my go-to powder and I always keep it in my purse. It's so affordable, a great color, and a great texture! I don't know anyone who doesn't love this powder, honestly. I use it on a daily basis to set my make up, and for touch ups throughout the day. I find the texture very similar to MAC Studio Fix. This is my HG powder.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Waterproof

I really like this mascara. I was at first turned off by the giant brush bristles, but I find that it does an excellent job of coating my lashes and making them look fuller and longer than they naturally do. I really like waterproof mascara, as it holds a curl better than other mascaras. Personally, I have a hard time with mascara. I have extremely sensitive eyes and wear contact lenses -- it's nearly impossible to find something that doesn't: A. flake, B: make my eyes itch, C: irritate my contacts. This does NONE of the three (miraculous, I know). Plus, it's inexpensive to boot. How can you beat that? I don't know if I'd recommend this for ladies who have naturally short lashes -- it might be difficult to get this massive brush closer to your lash line (mascara wands with combs are great for shorter lashes instead). However, if you have decently long lashes, I REALLY recommend this stuff! I think it's great!

Eyes -Unlisted Brand - Nixie Ultra Pearl (Loose Pigment)

I LOVE these. I adore multi-purpose products, seeing as I can use them for everything. I just purchased these in Emerald City [a vibrant and GORGEOUS green], Milky Way [a nice pale nude for us pale ladies], and Drama [very similar to MAC's Violet pigment]. I couldn't be happier with the texture and color payoff, it looks beautiful on and my boyfriend was beyond pleased, and says they are better than any eyeshadows he's seen me purchase remotely recently. I love the light shimmer to them, and the fact they're easy to apply. Personally, I think they kick-butt over MAC pigments, hardcore. They're very similar in packaging, only Nixie's are thinner and taller, though they appear to contain the same amount of product. These will easily last me forever. Looks like I won't really be purchasing much eyeshadow anymore, I'm far too in love with these!

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stylist Waterproof ] [DISCONTINUED]

I don't mind this mascara; it works well for my sensitive eyes, plus I really like the comb for separation, definition, and lengthening of my lashes. My only real complaint is that when you pull the comb out of the tube, there is a considerable amount of product on it! Much too much to use, unless you want your lashes to look clumpy and ridiculous. I always have to wipe it off on a tissue prior to applying, but after that I think it works wonderfully! After I apply this, I apply the Volum' Express Turbo mascara for some added thickness and my lashes are definitely luscious! I recommend this for anyone who has very short lashes, seeing as the lengthening properties in it are phenomenal.

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Expansion Waterproof

I wanted to try this when I was looking into Waterproof Mascaras. This was a no go. Not only does it flake to no end, but it irritated my sensitive eyes! Maybe someone else will have more luck, but it wasn't even worth a second try for me. I found my HG Waterproof mascara in Revlon 3D, which you can go and read my review on as well!

Crème -Unlisted Brand - Nixie Full Coverage Cream Foundation

This is easily my HG foundation! I've already used one small compact, and am now on my second! This is a very rich foundation, and I found it easiest to apply with a foundation brush and then blend if necessary using a cosmetic sponge wedge. Nixie is wonderful in the fact that it has one of the widest selection of shades I have EVER seen available, and I have an extremely difficult time finding something pale enough for my virtually clear skin. This definitely does the trick. Not only does it go on and make my skin appear flawless, it looks natural to boot! Who would have thought for such a nice coverage foundation that it would look like I just look flawless and not look like make up? It's something I've never experienced before! It hasn't caused me to break out at all, and I sometimes sleep it in [I know I know, bad skin owner!]. I love this fact it's also water resistant, so it doesn't melt off in the summer humidity either [or when I go swimming, because I like my skin to be pretty then, too!]. I've turned several of my friends onto this foundation, all with different skin types, and each and every one of them LOVES this foundation. I recommend it for anyone!

Mascara -Revlon - 3D Extreme Mascara - Blackest Black

I don't understand why this product has such bad reviews! I love this mascara! I have the waterproof formula [I got it for a vacation, my lashes are so pale I wanted to make sure they were beautiful and visible when riding down a waterslide], and this works wonders AND stays on! I think a lot of people aren't following the directions as included on the back of the packaging when using the mascara -- I definitely didn't like it at first until I realized I wasn't using it the way it is intended. This mascara definitely gives me gorgeous, luscious lashes, and isn't that bad in price. I got it for only $7.50 at Wal-Mart [I can't bring myself to pay a lot for mascara, I go through it so fast!], plus it doesn't irritate my extremely sensitive contact-lens wearing eyes. My only issue is it does sometimes flake, and the initial applicaton is pretty dry. Otherwise, I do really enjoy this mascara!

I love the packaging, a great price, AND a great color match.... However this does NOT cover anything, and looks oily on the skin. I don't like a whole lot of coverage with my foundation, but I definitely want more than this. I did not like the original TruBlend, and was hoping Cover Girl would come up with something that would please me a little bit more -- no such luck. This is definitely a foundation for someone who doesn't need or want a moderate coverage product.

Liquid -L'Oreal - infallible never fail makeup

I don't see why this product is getting such horrid reviews! I honestly like it a lot. It's a little difficult to work with at first (can go on SO thick!), but after you get the hang of it it does leave a nice, flawless finish. It reminds me a bit of Lancome's Teint Idole (possibly because L'Oreal owns Lancome, perhaps?!). I like the fact that this foundation really covers -- I don't need a concealer with this product unless I have a serious break out, which doesn't happen to me very often. I also really love the sanitary pump bottle, it's nice that more brands are using this with their products. My one concern with this is I'm worried that it will break me out -- so far it hasn't happened, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it won't. I will update in the next week or two to let everyone know if I change my mind on this product! EDIT: It didn't break me out, but I feel it's too much coverage for every-day wear.

Concealers -L'Oreal - Infallible Concealer

I LOVE this concealer. It's nice to find one that covers, doesn't look cakey, and I honestly think it's similar to the Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage concealer (one of my favorites). I typically just put a smidge under my eyes, on the corners of my nose, and if I have any red blemishes I'll put some on those as well. It never makes my random spurts of acne any worse, and covers beautifully. I will definitely repurchase in the future! As long as L'Oreal doesn't discontinue it like it does so many of their products.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I love the fact that the L'Oreal True Match line has such a wide range of colors to choose from, quite possibly the very best I've seen in a drugstore line (L'Oreal always seems to have the palest shades as well). While I do love the texture of the foundation, and it does blend in very well, it tends to rub off really easily! I like the formulation, it gives you a handy natural matte finish, I just wish it wore better. I will continue to have a bottle on hand, in case I run out of my favorite foundation, or am just looking for something to wear on a day running errands (I don't like to wear my good foundation for silly things like that!). I think it's definitely nice for the color matching system, and I love the powder as well! (click on my info, and you can read my review on that!)

Honestly, I've tried mascara upon mascara upon mascara. I have a huge problem with mascaras flaking when I wear them, and making it look like I have a black eye! I also hate the seriously clumping look, which is another issue for me. I wear contact lenses, and so many mascaras irritate my already sensitive eyes, and will make them water creating more of a mess. I have NEVER had this problem with this mascara! I was surprised to find something I like so much out of a drugstore brand -- who knew? I wear this every day and have gotten ridiculous compliments on my lashes, the most frequent is "are those your real eyelashes?". And I'm pleased to say -- yes they are! They're just enhanced beautifully with this mascara. I never have any problems with this mascara flaking as I do with so many others, and also it doesn't seem to dry out quickly, which is a problem I've had with SO MANY other mascaras (Urban Decay Big Fatty, for example). I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive eyes -- it's worth a shot for the inexpensive price and great quality of the product!

Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - Nixie Cosmetics - Mineral Eyeshadow

I must say that I'm highly satisfied with Nixie brand eyeshadows. They're easily blendable, and with nearly 200 colors to choose from you'll be able to find pretty much any color you're looking for. The shadows have a very rich color pay-off, it looks the same on as it does in the pan. Not to mention I love the fact that the Nixie website actually has accurate swatches -- definitely more than I can say for most cosmetics brands! I do use a base with my eyeshadows, so I'm not sure how they are without one, but it lasts for me all day, even in heat and humidity and me running around like a chicken with my head cut off! Speaking of chicken, my favorite thing about Nixie is the fact that it is a CRUELTY FREE product. I wish more products and brands were! I've received many compliments on my eyes when I wear Nixie eyeshadow, and have recommended it to many of my friends and family. I couldn't be happier with it, and since I've purchased it I haven't worn anything else!

Palettes -Unlisted Brand - Nixie Pro Palette

I LOVE these! Completely portable and fit the eyeshadows wonderfully. I like the fact that it's very professional looking, but still see through -- at least you can see through it to see what eyeshadows you want to wear that day as opposed to most companies who's palettes do not have a see through lid. It will be too big to fit most other brands of eyeshadows (unless the brand specifically makes large pots, definitely too large for MAC, Urban Decay, or Smashbox).
