I really really like this shade. Although this does not have the longest lasting power, it looks very nice on the lips. It has a nice sheen on the lips and feels very moisturizing. All in all, it's a nice product and I love the peppermint feel on my lips when first applied. I would suggest this shade to anyone as it is universally flattering.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Nude Matte

I swatched all the shades at my local ULTA. I have to admit a lot of them were chalky, but the two shades that I got, I absolutely love! I got Maybe Later which is an awesome matte medium brown shade. I also got Bare My Soul which is an awesome matte light medium charcoal shade. It looks very similar to MAC's Copperplate. All in all, I would suggest that you swatch the shades before buying them as there are gems and duds in this range of eyeshadows. Great product for the price though!

Palettes -Lancome - Glamorous Nudes

This eyeshadow palette features 8 full-sized Lancome eyeshadows for $49.50. I believe it is a Macy's exclusive palette as I have not seen it sold anywhere else. The palette comes with: Optic (sheen), Off the rack (metallic), Vue (shimmer), Clock strikes 12 (matte), Filigree (shimmer), Pink zinc (metallic), Guest list (shimmer), The new black (metallic). Optic is a grayish off white color with a slight sheen that is perfect as a highlight. Off the Rack is a light baby Pink shimmer shade that is nicely pigmented and buttery. Vue is an awesome golden rose shade similar to All That Glitters but is not as orange. Clock Strikes 12 is an awesome charcoal gray shade that is matte and pigmented. Filigree is one of my favorite shades as it is a wearable white gold shade with shimmer. Pink Zinc is my favorite shade as it has high shine and shimmer and makes any eye look for glam instantly. I love wearing this shade with MAC's Satin Taupe. Guest List is the only shade I had a problem with. It has decent pigmentation but the texture is not as soft as the others, so it doesn't blend as easily. The New Black is a gorgeous black with blue and silver shimmer. I love that the shimmer actually transfers when applied to the eyes, so it adds dimension. All in all, I really enjoy this palette, and I think it's a great value and great way to try out Lancome eyeshadows. If you do not like shimmer shades, stray from this palette as all the shades have some type of shimmer except for one. Get this palette before it's gone!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Satin Taupe

This is a gorgeous taupe shade. I love it in the crease because it adds dimension to the eyes. The texture is very soft and the pigmentation is awesome. Not much fallout either. I think this is my favorite MAC eyeshadow because I have not been able to find a dupe that has the dimension or texture of this shade. Love it and would repurchase!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sable Eye Shadow

I got this color thinking that it would be a similar color/dupe for Urban Decay's Toasted. It looks nothing like Toasted. Toasted is a warm taupe shade that is closer to Satin Taupe. The pigmentation and texture of this shadow is alright but nothing that blows me away. All in all it's a nice reddish brown shimmer shade, if that is what you are looking for.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Wedge Eyeshadow

When I got this eyeshadow I was a little underwhelmed due to all the good reviews on Makeupalley. The day before I had gotten a NYX Nude Matte eyeshadow in Maybe Later which is very similar in color pigmentation and texture. Overall, most of the MAC shadows I have purchased I have disappointed me, and I do extended research on them. All in all, I would save my money and get the NYX one as it is $4 compared to $15.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Naked Lunch

I do not know if I got a bad one, but the Naked Lunch I got did not even show up on my skin. There was absolutely no pigmentation to the eyeshadow. I immediately returned it because I cannot justify spending $15 on an eye shadow that does not even show up on my eyes. Beautiful color though just doesn't show up.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette

Ok so the shadows in this palette are gorgeous and pigmented. However, the main problem with this palette is after I bought it for a month, I realized I never gravitated to it. I always picked my original Naked Palette. Although people say this palette is coll-toned while the first is warm-toned, I find the shades in the first are better for everyday use. The shades in the Naked 2 I find are more darker, so if you are into the daytime smokey look this is the right palette for you. Overall, after a month, this went back to Sephora.

Palettes -Too Faced - The Return of Sexy Eye Shadow Palette

The palette itself is absolutely beautiful. The pencil and primer are perfection. However, like many people say, the palette is too shimmery. I am a shimmer lover, so I expected to LOVE this palette. However, the texture of the shadows were really gritty, and some were powdery. There are a few that claim that these shadows are like "asian shadow" texture. I disagree because asian shadows tend to feel much more buttery even more than the ones in the UD Naked palette. All in all, I was not very impressed by the shadows although I must admit they look quite nice on the eyes. There was too much fall out, so this sucker went back to Sephora.

For some reason, this one dried out much faster than the Bad to the Bronze. Also, I find this one harder to blend than the others. All in all it is a good product but nothing spectacular due to the subpar texture and blending capabilities.

Treatments -E.L.F. - Shine Eraser Blotting Sheets

Well these sheets are dirt cheap. You will need at least two sheets everytime you blot the oil off your face. They are not as good as more expensive sheets like the Sephora brand ones or the Boscia ones, but you get what you pay for. However, they still do the job so I think it is a product definitely worth trying out!

Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer

This concealer has received a lot of hype because of its revolutionary packaging: a crayon like the Urban Decay one. It is very creamy in consistency, but I find that this is horrible for under eye circles because it cakes up really easy. For spot concealing it is all right. All and all it is a good concealer, but nothing spectacular that you have to run to the nearest drugstore to pick up one (like I did).

Powder -Elizabeth Arden - Pure Finish Mineral Makeup

First of all, I would like to say this product has BEAUTIFUL packaging. It is no longer the black container, but a beautiful gold and silver container. Although the packaging feels a little cheap, it looks really luxe. I would say the finish of this powder is between the bare escentuals original and matte version. It controls oil ok, but I noticed I have to blot once or twice a day. However, this is really expensive. The EA mineral foundation is $39.50/.29oz while the BE one is $27/.28oz and the clinique one is $34.50/.63oz. The Clinique and EA have a similar shifter, so I might try the Clinique one next time because it has double the product but is cheaper. All in all this is one of the best mineral foundations I have used, but I do not know if I can justify paying so much for it.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Caresse Shine Stain / Shine Caresse

I got the rose one, and it is the perfect everyday color. The color payoff isn't the best because these are sheer, but I am not the person who likes really pigmented glosses. The shine is very fine and not too much, and really makes your lips look a little more pouty. Also, the feeling of these glosses is really nice and not sticky, yet they still last pretty long. Plus, the applicator is really nice too. Overall, I would defintely repurchase.

Palettes -Laura Mercier - Artist's Palette For Eyes

So I have the Naked palette which I love, but I have been contemplating on whether or not I should get the Naked 2. I wanted a palette with more variety of smokey not just neutral shadows. Swatched the Naked 2, but I found it a little too shimmery, and I did not like that there matte shades were the white and black. Saw this palette, and immediately fell in love. I love that this palette has a wide arrange of matte and shimmers. Also, I think the mattes are AMAZING in this palette. The shimmers are great too, but the mattes stand out. I'm so happy with this purchase. Get this palette now because it is limited edition!
