As a single girl with no kids, husband or mortage this wasn't really a "luxury" buy as I blow money on much stupider things! lol! but all kidding aside, although the price is insane, I really love this mascara! Its so black and glides on sooooo easily! I have really short, straight lashes, this product lengthens and curls without looking over the top. I don't think I can go back to cheap mascara after I run out of this.

Primer/ Corrector -Cover FX - BritePrep FX

I first tried BritePrep FX when I got a free sample from Shoppers. I instantly feel inlove with it, as I live in Canada and winters are harsh, the creaminess of the formula is great for winter! I then went on to purchase a full tube. I find it REALLY expensive for the amount you get, but I don't have to wear moisturizer when I have this product on so perhaps that would cut down cost per wear if its the only base you have on. I don't know how this product will be in the summer, probably wayyyy to oily but its a great winter find.

Moisturizers -Fresh - Soy Face Cream

I was really upset with this product because I use the Fresh face wash and LOVE IT! The Soy Face Cream broke me out soooooo badly :( Too bad because I really liked the texture and how moisturized my face felt. But after using it for about a week I noticed that my chin area kept breaking out. I used this product for about a month hoping that my skin would adjust and take to the product but no such luck! Now I've stopped using the product and my skin is finally starting to clear up!

Cleansers -Fresh - Soy Face Cleanser

I love love love this stuff! i got a free sample at sephora and it got me hooked! bought a fullsize bottle and LOVED IT! completely cleared up my skin. I ran out of the stuff last week and since then my face has been breaking out big time! Need to get another bottle asap! I love that the smell is so organic and not perfumed. It really does take off all your makeup, even hard to remove mascara! This stuff is amazing. A bit pricey, but worth it for awesome looking skin!

Yay for summer colours! This is such a fun and vibrant colour! Looks great with a tan! I would recommend this colour for NP junkies like me! A very flattering colour for all skin tones IMO.

I don't know what I was expecting with this product? I thought it would be a miracle in a bottle but alas I was wrong! It leaves your hair smelling nice and adds volume but doesn't do much else...hair still looks grubby and it also kinda made my head itchy. It kinda does the same job a hairspray would do when you are trying to cover up your dirty hair for the day. Overall not worth your money...nothing comes close to washing your hair as I've tried other dry shampoos as well.

Eye Shadow -Annabelle - Eyeshadow in General

I feel like such a fool! Always passing Annabelle at Shoppers for all these years mainly because the brand looked so cheap! I think the whole rebranding of their packaging look has really helped the customer come around. These eyeshadows are lovely! I bought the deal at Shoppers with the 4 eyeshadows....very impressed. Great to play around with colours because they are so inexpensive.

I found this at a small boutique that was having a 40% off sale on all their Cargo products...and being on a lipstick craze at the moment I was drawn to this colour (and the sale price didn't hurt either!). The only Cargo products I've used is the bronzer but other then that I didn't know ANYTHING about their lipsticks. I like this lipstick because it feels great on your lips and the colour is just so cute! Its a fresh and young look...very natural and healthy looking colour on the face. The staying power is pretty decent as well. Its a fairly sheer wash on the lips. I didn't know it was designed by Lindsay Lohan (hence the name) until I brought the stuff home...but overall I would recommend this lipstick and I would like to try other Cargo lipsticks as well.

This is a tough one because I really like the results from this product but the price is just too much!!! You have to look at the instructions VERY carefully when you get this product, play around with it and adapt it for your own face. A little goes a long way with this and I only use this for nights out or special occasions or when I just want to look hotter then my friends! lol! I brought this to Vegas with me and it made me look really good in pictures. If you're a sucker for the gimicky-ness of Benefit (like me) then I recommend this stuff, as it makes you look great in pictures and you will have it for a long time, but otherwise I'd say don't bother with it.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Brow

This has become a staple in my mu routine! When I'm looking a bit 'blah' a bit of high brow on my brow bone and corner of my eyes totally gives me a fresh look! This is great when you are doing a full night on the town face OR just a quick swipe before you head out the door in a rush. Its really great when you have those tiny eyebrow hairs that are too small to tweeze because this totally hides them! This product goes pretty quick for me as I use a generous amount at each application and I like to keep my pencils sharpened. But overall I would recommend this for those who want to look fresh without trying too hard!

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Lash

I really like this mascara, I just don't like the price that much! The results are really good (lashes look long and full...no spider-ish look either) and I really love the brush. But the price is a bit much for a mascara. In my opinion mascaras have such a short life span, so I don't want to be spending alot on them. I would say try it out once, as it is a fairly nice product, but just don't get hooked or it could be costly in the long run.

Lipstick -Revlon - Pink in the Afternoon

I just purchased this yesterday and so far I'm very pleased with it! It is a very summer-time colour, since I'm tanned now it looks really nice on my face. I think it might be a bit bright for winter time when I'm so pale. The only downside is that it does seem to migrate towards the lines in my lips. Other then that its a very fun and vibrant colour but great for day time.

I gave into the hype and purchased this foundation. I've used many many many Revlon products in the past and I'm usually pleased with the results. However, this foundation is a big let down! I found the texture alright but the amount of glitter in it is INSANE! Its not practical for day wear, more like if you were going to a big rager party at night or something where glitter and stripper shoes were the dress code! Although its a drugstore product and considered 'cheap' compared to department store brands, I would say skip this and save your money.

I just recently purchased this after smelling a sample from a magazine! I'm very happy with the scent as I think its very appropriate for the warmer months ahead. The smell is complex but very modern and girly at the same time. Its one of those ones you will have to smell to understand. The staying power is decent, nothing special about that, but overall I would recommend this if you wanna try something fun for summer.

I just purchased this yesterday after seeing it in People's Style Watch magazine...and I have to say, so far so good! I applied it all over my lips this morning, then applied "Cyndi" by MAC over top, and it was a nice ruby red. Since the l/s has worn off my lips still have a nice cherry-ish colour. I got this at Shoppers on sale, it was like $3! good price, good quality...good call!
