i LOVE this FDN! given it is a bit thick, i just use a little bit with my damp beauty blender and just stipple it all over my face. I set it with powder, and it stays on all day and gives me a luminous glow. I never have any probs with it oxidizing, so if you do, try setting it with powder. Their translucent setting powder is great too.
Holy cow!! This shouldbe called clear skin in a bottle!! I'm pregnant right now and I've never had crystal clear skin. I've always had a blemish every now and then but recently my hormones have been raging and taking it out on my forehead in the form of cystic acne. (Yes only my forehead... these hormones had mercy so they targeted one spot.) I am horrified! I've never broken out so much since being a teenager! I desperately wanted it to go away so I picked this up from the drugstore after reading so many great reviews on MUA. I went home, slapped it on, and wah-la the bumps subsided and began to clear in a mere couple of hours. Amazing? I'd say so!!
Moisturizers -Shiseido - The Skincare Night Moisture Recharge Enriched
mna2006lp 12/21/2011 12:29:00 PM
I am pregnant and have very hormonal skin that has been breaking out like I was a teenager!! Every cleanser, toner, and moisturizer that I have tried (Origins, Cauldie, Kiehls) have not helped at ALL until I started using Shiseido's Skincare line. (i pair this moisturizer along with the gentle cleanser and also the balancing toner). My skin can be dry/normal/combo as well as acne prone. This moisturizer hydrated my skin and made it GLOW, and guess what? It doesn't break me out. I liked it so much i use it as my day moisturizer as well (but I do not apply as generously as night time). I just wish it came in a more sanitary packaging. I'm not too fond of digging my hands into a jar. I'd much rather have a pump, but bottom line, i can't ask for more. LOVE THIS MOISTURIZER. Where has it been all my life??
Treatments (Eye) -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Eye Cream
mna2006lp 11/6/2010 12:13:00 AM
I'm not quite sure why the ratings are so low for this product. I purchased this as a moisturizing eye cream. I know it claims to lighten dark eye circles and puffiness, which I have not seen yet, but it does do a good job in moisturizing, and that's what I purchased it for.
Definitely LIKE this product. I have sensitive skin and I've definitely been struggling with finding a good foundation that wont clog my pores. This gives good coverage without clogging pores and I also noticed my skin becoming more clear and skin tone evening out. (ref: NC 30) I will def be repurchasing.
EDIT: Had to return the item. Staying power is horrible, and it oxidizes. The tube is small, and I can see myself going through it quickly. However, just a pea sized amount is all you need. It doesn't go on matte. I would say its a dewy foundation more than anything. I love how it looks so natural. I set it with dual finish (in Matte Ecru) and touch up during the day with Mac's blot powder if it gets too shiny. It stays put all day, doesn't look cakey, doesnt feel like you are wearing a mask. Overall, I give it a 4. Will update if things change. But so far, I love it! Possible HG!!!
Powder -Lancome - Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup

This is my HG!!!!!!!!!!! After years of searching, my HG is here! I love that when you put this powder on, it just melts onto your skin and looks so natural. It just makes your skin look better. Initially, it will be very matte but after about 10-15 minutes your skin just looks so good and radiant. I LOVE it. and it feels like you have NOTHING on!! After years of trial and error, my search for HG foundation is over!!
Liquid -Lancome - Teint Idole ULTRA [DISCONTINUED]
mna2006lp 9/15/2009 4:37:00 AM
EDIT: the foundation turns orange!! Back to the store you go! I wear this underneath my Lancome Dual Finishing Powder, when I need a bit more coverage. It gives a very natural finish and does not feel greasy at all. Long lasting and beautiful. For reference, I am NC35, and I wear Matte Sand.
Liquid -Rimmel - Stay Matte + SkinPure Complex Clarifying Matte Foundation

This product is crap. I had high hopes for this, as I really liked their lasting finished foundation. It broke me out with small bumps on my cheeks after two days!
Powder -MAC - Mineralize Foundation / Loose - Medium
mna2006lp 12/29/2008 1:05:00 PM
LOVE LOVE LOVE! This is my HG right here. I am NC30/NC35 skin tone. After tryng Urban Decay surreal skin (which broke me out in cyst like bumps on my face), I turned to mac's mineral loose. It is light, buildable coverage, doesnt feel like you are wearing a mask. If you are looking for more "full" coverage, or have acne scars, this is not for you. This is more of a light coverage, evening skin tone kinda thing. Really natural. If you are going for the natural look, use this. Also when you take pictures, it doesnt have the "ghostface" affect. I feel that the medium maybe a perfect "skin match," however, I tend to like my foundations one shade lighter to cover minor imperfections. I will try the "light medium" shade next, but for now I am buffing "sunlight" concealer from everyday minerals all over my face before applying Mac's mineral loose in medium. This gives me perfect flawless skin with good coverage. EDIT: I have stopped using this product because it broke me out also. Maybe its just the minerals??
Foundations -Urban Decay - Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup
mna2006lp 11/3/2008 1:06:00 PM
EDIT: After using this for 1-2 months, I started to develop cyst like bumps on my cheek, as if my skin was developing an allergic reaction. I thought that my brushes were dirty so I cleaned them, and still i had the same issue. I put on acne creams, everything, nothing worked. Then i stopped using UD and the cysts went away in about a week or so. This is bad for your skin if you have sensitive skin like me and it also clogged my pores. Once I popped a pimple and I could see a layer of the foundation on top of the pus. It was gross. This is NOT good for you, waste of money!! And the staying power is horrible, I had to retouch with this constantly. I've moved on to Lancome Dual Finish Pressed Powder. It is great. See my review for it! --------------------------------------- A friend of mine reccomended this product to me and I absolutely LOVE it. It looks SO natural, and believe me I've tried SO many brands from drug store to high end. I believe that foundation for everyday use should be as natural as possible and used to even skin tone, not cake on. This looks great, gives you that glow. It is better (way better) than BE. I find that BE looks shiny and you end up looking like a grease ball after some hours. MAC is way too heavy/cakey, and when you take photos, theres a "ghost" effect. Powder white! not cool. Just for reference I am NC30/35. I bought both Supernova and Hallucination. However, I like supernova better. It is one shade lighter and covers imperfections well.
I usually use mac's shadow "Espresso" and their little brush for my eyebrows, but one day i forgot my bag at my parents home, so I rushed to walgreens to get an alternative. I found this pencil and bought it on a whim, but it is SO great, I've stopped using my mac shadow and brush for my brows. It stays on ALL day, wheras with the mac shadow, I'd find myself constantly reapplying or touching up through out the day. Its not as harsh and you can make it as "defined" or natural as you want it. I love it! Would buy it again and again, would DEFINITELY reccomend this to others!
First off, I have been searching years on the answer to perfectly straight hair! I am a person on the go, so I want low maintence beautiful hair. (Impossible, I know!) But with the wet 2 straight, I've had good hair days with little fuss! I have purchased so many hair styling items that its not even funny. I have medium length asian hair, kinda thick, sometimes frizzy. Can NEVER get it to be perfectly straight bc there is always TOO much volume. I changed my shampoo/conditioner started using MORE CONDITIONER and used the wet to straight iron. I wash my hair at night before bed, then I blow dry my hair first until it is damp. (Must be no water dripping from the hair). I think the wet to straight works better that way. Then I use the wet to straight to dry out my damp hair, and go to bed. DO NOT use it the next morning before you go out, because it will make your hair all weird. It makes it straight in a way that it is sticking out, kinda hard to explain. Its just weird. BLOW DRY the next morning, it will be PERFECT and good to go! (I have the blow dryer with the comb at the mouth of the blowing, so its great and easy to style) I absolutely love this. If you try this exactly in the way that I have stated, you will have perfectly beautiful hair everyday. If you have questions, feel free to msg me if this didnt make sense! =)
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Enriched w/ Minerals
mna2006lp 8/25/2008 6:17:00 PM
Im going to start by saying that i HATE make up that looks cakey, powdery, thick and feels like a ten pound mask is on your face. What I look for in a foundation is for it to have 1) staying power 2) good coverage 3) no cakey! Though I am disappointed after trying so many foundations, I have not yet found the right one! I spent so much money on MAC, chanel, currently using sheisedo, all do not quite do it for me. I'm so glad I came across this review for Rimmel and went out and bought it yesterday. It looks great, feels light, looks natural and so far, staying on. I love it, would buy it again, and would reccomend it to friends. I'll update if my thoughts change between now and next week! My color shades: Mac; NC30, chanel tient innocent natural beige, Shesiedo spf powder foundation 40, physicians formula mineral: transulent medium. Rimmel shade: 200 soft beige
I bought this mascara after reading such great reviews on here. I have to say that though it does not curl well, it definitely lengthens and defines lashes! EDIT: The tube dried up before the month was over.
