Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Caresse- US shades
mmaryy 10/6/2012 8:55:00 PM
I have this in Sheer Linen 181 and I love the fact that it comes out a perfect nude on my lips, it blends well with my skin tone so that could be why it works out for me. You will have to layer this on a few times to get more of the color pay off. It has a glossy finish & it smells yummy, like candy (Jolly Rancher). It is also light weight and feels moisturizing. Great product! only down fall is the price, it should be $2 less then what i got it for since it is a drug store product but thats just my opinion, knocked off a lippie for that reason.

Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross
mmaryy 9/5/2012 7:07:00 PM
I am in love with this highlighter! it gives me the perfect glow whenever I need it. In my opinion, it has this beautiful light gold color to brighten you up and make heads turn. I receive compliments every time I use Nars Albatross! No complaints, highly recommended and the price is worth it due to the quality, will purchase again when I run out but that won't be for awhile, small package but a little goes a long way, be gentle when applying, you don't want to be glowing too much ;-)

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational
mmaryy 8/28/2012 9:14:00 PM
I have this in 815 Tenacious Taupe and I love it! too bad its Limited Edition (Fall 2012 Scene on the Runway) collection. I need to get back ups. This is the perfect nude lipstick for my medium skin tone, it feels moisturizing, creamy, smooth, no yucky smell & the color is opaque. It really shows well on my lips without making me look dead. I am surprised I like this more than my MAC nude lipsticks.

Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay Eyeliner
mmaryy 7/6/2012 12:16:00 PM
I like this because it does not smudge and it last longer then most eyeliners I've used in the past (i.e. Urban Decay, Stila, Milani Liquif'eye) and out of all these eyeliners I choose this Revlon Colorstay. I love that its retractable, only downfall is that the pigmentation is not as black as I expect, its more of a "soft black" rather then intense. Maybe they have a more intense black color I haven't seen yet? I don't know, if not then I hold on to my 4 star rating but will buy this again anyway.

Eyeliner -New York Color - Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil - all
mmaryy 1/13/2012 12:00:00 PM
You get what you pay for. Dirt cheap product speaks for itself, looks nice but does not work well for my waterline. No color pay off after trying to apply it several times. I swatched it on my hand and it seemed to work for my hand, why not on my eyes? Its going back, prefer Revlon Colorstay over this piece of crap.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal
mmaryy 9/6/2011 1:47:00 PM
I love this mascara and have to say its one of my favorites! I've never noticed any clumping and it does what it says (volumizing and thick lashes). I also love that it helps seperate my lashes, it does not dry out as fast as other mascaras which makes it easy to build up thicker looking lashes. Highly recommended!

Mascara -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Smoky Lash - Extra Black
mmaryy 9/6/2011 1:30:00 PM
I was excited to try this since a makeup guru on YouTube kept bragging about how good it is for hot/humid weather, water sports and the pool. I have worn it through hot/humid weather and for a waterproof mascara, I felt like it smeared and made me look like a raccoon when it wasn't suppose to. I don't wear any makeup when I swim or do any water activities, so I can't comment on how well it works after swimming/water sports. Mascara works differently on everyone, while this worked great on some people; it didn't wow me enough to keep using it or brag about it the way the YouTube makeup guru did.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Doll Lashes
mmaryy 9/6/2011 1:03:00 PM
Think really hard before buying this mascara, think "doll lashes", the lashes of the dolls you had when you were a little girl (thin, seperated), use common sense. If you want your lashes to look thin and seperated like a doll, this is for you! but be forwarned, in my opinion this mascara does not give volume, lengthening. thickness or the false lashes effect at all, I will not repurchase this again, can't say that I recommend it since I'm not into the doll lashes look but going to take this back and exchange it for the regular Hypnose that everyone keeps bragging about is better.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler
mmaryy 9/6/2011 12:45:00 PM
This is a great eyelash curler, not the best that I've tried but way better then the eyelash curlers at the drug stores, it does the job, it doesn't pinch me but the silicone pad on this curler pulls out 1 or 2 lashes every time I use it (not good!) and not exactly the perfect amount of pressure on my eyelashes either, since I discovered the Shiseido eyelash curler, i won't be repurchasing this Shu Uemura eyelash curler again.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shiseido - Eyelash Curler
mmaryy 9/6/2011 12:07:00 PM
I have to give this eyelash curler 5 stars! I been using it every day for almost a month and very happy with it. The reason why I love it is because it does not pinch me, I love that its wide and gets every lash, and curls it to perfection without pulling out my lashes. This one really knocked Shu Uemura off the shelves, got it for $19 from Sephora, highly recommended! only down fall is the price, I think $19 is too much for an eyelash curler but if that's how its priced, this one is worth it for the quality.

Powders -MAC - Careblend Pressed Powder - Gold-Go-Lightly
mmaryy 6/24/2011 1:31:00 PM
This is an awesome bronzing powder from the recent MAC Surf Baby collection. If you don't have it yet, you MUST get it. It's LE and once its gone, its gone. I purchased 2, I needed a back up bc it's that good. My skin is light/fair/medium depending on the season/weather, either way it looks so natural, it's not orange or dirty looking and it's hard to over do it. I have been using this almost every day and have received compliments on it, I been told my face is glowing, naturally beautiful and healthy looking. I even got a "WOW" from my manager at work when I wore this and she couldn't figure out whether it was a nice new tan or the bronzer. LOL. Highly recommended and thinking about purchasing another one just to have 2 back ups, I want this bronzer with me for a long time <3

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Gaga 2
mmaryy 5/10/2011 12:36:00 PM
I have a fair/medium complexion and this nude lipstick does not wash me out or make me look dead. Of all nude lipsticks I've tried, this is by far the best one for me and thinking about taking Myth back to exchange for another Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipstick so I can have a back up.

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads
mmaryy 6/22/2010 2:40:00 PM
I love these wipes, they are my 2nd choice (1rst choice would be MAC makeup wipes) the price is expensive for drug store brand $6 to $7 for a pack of 30 (this is what i hated about it, you don't get your money's worth for 30 pads at that price) This product is outstanding, it removes all my make up, there's no yucky smell to it either. It also removes oil, dirt and grime off your face. It works well but they need to put more pads in there, if it at least came in a pack of 75-100 i would be buying this instead of the MAC wipes.

Cleansers -MAC - Makeup Remover Wipes
mmaryy 6/22/2010 2:14:00 PM
I just purchased this product, paid $26+tax for the bulk pack of 100. I believe it's pricey due to the quality and how well it works. I have tried drug store brands, Target brands, etc. and feel that this is the best when removing my makeup, the drug store brands couldn't remove every single smudge, not like these MAC makeup wipes. It removed ALL my makeup, including the smudge, oil, dirt & grimes. The best thing about it is that it has Vitamin E in these wipes, it's good for your face, especially if it's oily. It helps prevent breakouts as well after heavy makeup usage. I would recommend this product to anyone. If you can afford it and want the quality, GET IT!!!
