Fragrances -Jessica McClintock - Jessica McClintock

I really didn't think I would like this. Jessica McClintock has, for me, an association with icky prom dresses (I know that she does nicer stuff, but some of it...ick). But this scent is so classic and somehow green but warm. It smells like my skin but how it would after rolling around in a bunch of flowers. Perfect for springtime. I get mostly Lily of the Valley (and I'm not good at picking out notes--this is dead-on lily of the valley), which is the flower of my birth month, May. There may be a hint of honeysuckle or lemon or musk. I'm not sure. But I like it.
Wow! I found this in my mother's discarded toiletries, along with many other perfumes (Tatiana, Anais Anais, ). I just love it! It is somehow naive and sexy at the same time. I smell citrus, flowers, and a slight powdery musk which is not synthetic-smelling on me, which musks often are. To have found this when it is dc'ed is somewhat tragic, and there is only 1/2 a bottle left!

Okay, so those of you who like far-out eye makeup might not like this shade. HOWEVER, if you are like me, and have been searching for the perfect violet-taupe e/s, this is great stuff! It works like a neutral, but better, since the slight violet tint makes my green eyes stand out more. But it's not so purple that it makes my dark circles more noticeable. It's the perfect color for me, and it never smudges. This color is part of the Summer 2007 launch.
Wow! This looks so great, especially for summer or for nights out. It's more teal than it is the color of ivy and it's gorgeous. You know how they say not to match your eye makeup to your eye color? This is the exception to that rule. If you have green eyes, try this product!
PLEASE READ B4 USING!!! I used this product and now have permanent hyperpigmentation as a result. I don't know why it happened to me but I would be very careful with this product. It's not worth having brown patches on your face!
Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Body Oil with Sesame

I love this oil for the softness it gives my skin. My husband loves it for its scent (which I like, too). It's very simple to use and moisturizes pretty well, although I also like to hit my dry spots with Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion (HG!!!). Not everyone likes the scent, according to these reviews, but I do. In fact, if anyone knows of a perfume that smells like it, please let me know!
I am actually on the fence about this one. I do really enjoy how it smells, but for some reason it fades on me for a while and then I can smell the dry down. So I get top notes and dry down but no heart notes. Must be my chemistry. But what I do get to smell is beautiful; much warmer and creamier than MJ original, also somewhat more tropical and floral, less watery. The MJ original is nice but a bit "cool" and harsh on me; it sometimes smelled like air freshener, if you know what I mean. But Essence is a buttery floral to die for. If only I could get it to last on me.

I have only tried a sample of this, but goodness, what a great eye cream! It is so smooth and hydrating and my concealor is flawless after using it. This is really amazing, but also really expensive. I said that I would buy it again, but I guess that would only be if I won the lottery. Please tell me that there is an eye cream out there that's this good but doesn't require that I take out a 2nd mortgage!
I actually really like this product. I think that there must be more than one shade, b/c some people are saying that it's orange, and mine couldn't be further from orange. Mine is called Baked Tan and it's so very neutral with a hint of shimmer. It's shimmery, not glittery and I even use it during the day. Perfect color for me but the price ($12) is not what you expect at a drugstore. The packaging is annoying b/c it's not airtight and some particles get out and all over my other m/u. I would buy it again unless I found something I like better. Overall, pretty darn good, but not perfect.

Would I buy this again? Yes, yes, OMG yes!!! And, now it's at Macy's at the Estee Lauder counter! I almost didn't want to tell anyone b/c I want to keep it all to myself! It smells like coconut and vanilla mixed with white floral and something "beachy" that I can't put my finger on. HG!!!!!

I can't comment on how it smells on others, but on me it is horrible! The amber combines with the rose to smell sickeningly sweet and acrid. My mother asked why I was wearing bug spray.
This is actually a very nice scent. I usually don't like musky, vanilla-type scents, but this has some fruity freshness and a little bit of powder added to make it lighter. I think that it is perhaps a little bit boring, but with the right body chemistry, it's very nice.
I was so excited to sample this, because I was looking for something tropical and sexy. Right out of the bottle, the oil smelled like suntan lotion. Pretty nice, reminds me of summer, etc. But then it dried down to a cheap, coconut-scented car air-freshener smell. Ick. I really wish this worked for me, but I cannot go around smelling like a car air-freshener. It reminds me of the movie Tommy Boy, where Chris Farley rubs a pine-scented taxi air-freshener on his armpits. It didn't work for him, and it doesn't work for me. :-(

This is, hands-down, the best volumizing shampoo that I have ever used, and I've tried a LOT. HG!!!!!!!!

This is what my DH wears. I love it! When first sprayed it smells like pure soap, but it mellows down to a fresh and sexy fragrance. I can't really describe it except to say that it smells like my hubby! Even my old grandma said to my DH "My don't you smell good!"
