My nearly 8 year love affair with Bare Minerals ended, and I was in desperate need for a new powder foundation. This works perfectly for my needs-helps even my complexion while last almost a full work day. I use a large Sigma powder brush to apply. I wear NC25 in the Studio Fix. Since it's a compact, it makes it really easy and quick to apply. I highly recommend if you prefer powder foundations.
First, major props for no going on 6 days with no chips and very minor tip wear. This color has a great creme finish, and a true, deep color. It's got some definite pink mixed in with the berry. Really a fun, punch color that looks great on short nails and works well as a pedi color, too.
After lusting after this for a few years, I finally splurged on a bottle. It smells exactly like Coppertone and the beach-a very nostalgic scent. I would never wear this to work because it does smell so "beachy", but I wear it every weekend during the warm months. It does not last but a few hours, but I just spray through out the day, so it does't bother me too much. It's a really fun fragrance that makes me feel happy.
Tinted Moisturizer -NARS - Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

I received a sample that lasted me 3 days. This is probably the best TM I've used. I like tinted moisturizers because they're quick, light, and easy to use. My biggest complaint with tinted moisturizers is they make my face feel really oily. However, I think NARS gives me the least oily feeling. I just use a few dabs on my face, and rub in. I get coverage almost all day, and only do one quick touch up with powder when I'm working. I received the St. Moritz color, which was a tad too dark for me, but I could still make it work.
I use two coats for this color. On me, this comes off as a cotton candy pink. It is a great color of summer. It's really opaque with two coats. For some reason, this polish seems kind of gunky to me, but nothing a little nail polish thinner couldn't solve.
I really like this color more than Essie's Lilacism. Nice is Nice is more of a dusty purple-lilac. It is really flattering for the summer, and it looks good on my tanned hands. I feel like it is subtle enough to wear at work even.
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Plum Lip Treatment SPF 15
ml176 6/13/2011 2:24:00 PM
Talk about a luxe lip product! I was hoping for a deep, translucent berry color, sort of similar to Clinique's Black Honey, but more "translucent" looking. Unfortunately, there is a not a lot of color pay off on my medium pigmented lips, but it is still a joyful product to use regardless. The smell is divine. Very similar to Jack Black's Lemon Chamomile lip balm. It smells like a lemon cupcake. The tube feels sturdy and you have to physically twist the cap in order to get the tube apart. I'm really impressed with this, and it makes me more interested to try out more products from the Fresh line. I am also looking forward to wearing this more in the fall and winter seasons.
Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

Surprisingly, I like this a lot more than I thought I would. I've tried other tinted moisturizers in the past (including Laura Mercier's own Illuminating TM), and I did not like how greasy my face felt to the touch. I anticipated this to be the same, especially since this is not the oil free version. However, I was glad to know this was not the case. My face feels normal when I touch it throughout the day. Another thing that surprised me is the TM itself applies like a true moisturizer. I still apply moisturizer before applying, however. It gives light coverage and seems to last through the day.
Gels/Soaps -Kiehls - Grapefruit Bath and Shower Liquid Body Cleanser

I am in love with this scent. It is a very fresh, true grapefruit scent that is subtle, but still very noticeable. The shower gel itself is very cleansing. It foams slightly. It's perfect for summer and after exercising.
Lipstick -Christian Dior - Addict Lipstick in Diorissime #249

This is a really pretty sheer coral pink lipstick. The packaging is extremely chic. My favorite thing about the Addict lipstick is how good it feels on my lips-it feels really light and moisturizing, as if I softly dabbled a bit of balm on my lips. I have medium pigmented lips, and the colors comes out to a really sheer light pink with a bit of coral. It's really nice, and it even goes with the tan I've recently acquired.
The reviewer who said this smells like Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea hit the nail on the head. I think this perfume is the love child of Sweet Pea and Marc Jacbos Daisy. It's a nice, light floral that is perfect for spring. I think the staying power is excellent. I have a large sample from Sephora, the kind where you have to apply with your fingers. I think it says a lot that a sample I can't even spray lasts throughout the day.
Lip Treatments -Jack Black - Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 - Lemon & Chamomile

First, this smells like a delicious lemon cupcake to me. Second, it is a wonderful lip balm. I keep it in my purse at all times so that if my lips just feel really dry, and I don't feel like applying lipstick or gloss, I slap some of this on. It's really moisturizing, and the best part is, your lips stay moisturizing, even after the balm has worn off. I love the blue tube, and the size fits perfectly in my purse. I highly recommend.
This polish is a pretty, shimmery purple. It has a thinner texture when you apply it; it's definitely not a cream. It's a mid-tone purple, with very tiny sparkles. It's fun and I like it especially during the fall and winter season. It does chip a lot more easily than there regular, creamier polishes, especially at the tips.
I am in love with the idea of this perfume. It's a sweet floral. I've been trying it out every time I'm in Sephora because I keep hoping that it is something I will love enough to purchase. It's strong enough that I only need one spritz. It's a very pretty floral, but something about it makes it too sweet for me, and it ends up making me feel kind of sick. I can definitely bergamot, lavender, rose petals and jasmine. Perfume is definitely a very personal thing, but I would warn those ladies who are more sensitive to smells than others.
This polish is downright sexy. It's a deep, almost burgundy red. It looks fantastic on short nails, particularly in the fall and winter seasons. I can usually get great wear out of it (at least 4 days with no chips). When I'm in the mood for a "sexy" polish, this is what I reach for.
