Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Cosmopolitan Blend Perfection Sponge

I have used this with Loreal, Giorgio Armani and heavy cream foundations. Though, I feel it is best with fluid textures. The effect resulting in foundation that looked like skin and not makeup. This is a definite must try where those of you who have used stippling brushes and have found the swirling/buffing motion on your face accentuated dry patches. I have the most severe of dry/flaky and acne prone skins, yet when i used this sponge it completely melded the foundation into my skin and gave me a soft focus finish. With, no signs of flakes in sight. This sponge delivers a very even, thin and flawless coverage and in no time at all as it requires very little effort. will continue to purchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Tempting (LUSTRE)

a lovely chocolate frosted brown. i have terribly discoloured lids and this applies true to colour with no strange red or or dull tones. having sallow skin wearing browns tend to make me looked bruised or rash like, however this does the complete opposite. for a frost i find it to be very smooth, great for a variety of looks packed on lid, crease colour or blended with black kohl for that smokey look. definately a staple. i think the fact it is a frost offsets the dull tendencies you tend to find common in brown shadows.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Makeup Art Cosmetics Notoriety Eyeshadow Quad

the colours compliment each other, you can do alot of varying eyes from subtle to dramatic. the orange and green shade are smooth and pigmented. the highlight was a dissapoinment more glitter than color payoff. notoriety very chalky. nonetheless i love to wear the quad with peachy bronze blush and nectarine or nude lips. i think it would work for fall or summer! i do feel like i have to pack quite a bit of color on even though i use uddp underneath to get a color pop. i dont own any other quads from mac to compare it. the colors i love, the pay off no.

i bought this solely to give another dimension to all my current mac lipsticks. i love it the texture isnt gritty and gives flat colours more dimension and a slight sparkle. slightly sticky and thick but for me thats a good thing. would buy over and over again!! makes my lips feel slightly plumper..

wonderful bright creamy colour however i do not use this by itself i use it with a lustreglass to take down the slight crayon orange colour of it and it leaves me with a beautiful corally summer lip. the combination looks both beautiful in artificial and daylight conditions. ive always looked for a wearable orange and this is it!

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - DUO eyelash adhesive

i love this. i make sure i apply mascara well let it dry, then apply my false lashes. above the lash line not on it, but as close as possible let set. then apply mascara again to mesh my real lash and false together. this does take mastering before getting right. i use to apply a thick line to the lash band now i apply a thin even line and wait for it to dry for about 20 secs and then start applying. now i have to say i always wear lashes on top of concealer, uddp, and liquid liner. i have very sensitive skin and eyes that react to anything. i am goin to say this is the reason why i most likely havent reacted to the glue or have had any lashes rip out. because all that makeup most likely acts as a barrier. so this is something that should be bared in mind. again removal of my lashes can vary depending how much glue was applied to the lash band and precision of application. most days they peel off easily and other days they can be very hard to remove. i solve this by applying mosituriser to a q tip and applying to the band so that the adhesive loosens. i will stick to this glue regardless because my lashes stay on from 8am to 12 midnight if need be and that is impressive for an oily lidded girl like me who has tried most glues.

i bought the red one from the rose romance collection. love how it gives me that rosebud lipped look. it looks natural also. lips must be moisturised prior to application thought. or, you will find it just dries your lips more. i love the vanilla scent! and it initally feels cooling against your lips. lovely bubbly!

got this in a swap. alone it does not work for me. and not great if you have dry skin either. however this is fabulous when i want to set the brow pencil i have used with a 208 brush. then the results are amazing. the highlighter shade is a lovely natural brightener that doesnt scream highlighter. it is a shame that it is discontinued.

Lipstick -MAC - Cosmo Lipstick

love it, id wear it to work or evenings. for daytime i think i would only wear this in the winter. i dont get any orange from this jus a lovely moisturizing wine mauvey colour. goes really well with my nc35 colouring. and wow does it make my lips look fuller. i love the texture. but again i do think this colour is very formal and serious looking. for ref: dark brown hair tanned yellow undertoned with tendency to sallowness. grey eyes. i would not buy this again because i feel it will last a long time in particularly where i will wear it occasionally rather than everyday

Lipstick -MAC - Matte - Kinda Sexy

i wouldnt buy again because i feel this will last me a very long time!!! im nc30-35 and this really blends in to my lips well. looks real and doesnt scream im wearing lipstick if that makes sense. i did buy this after seeing swatches in the picture section of makeupalley. i must say that it reads more rosey pink than peach on me. but definately a mixture of both. for me it is a nude but without the pale pasty beigey colours that nudes are associated with. i do have a gripe with this in that it is matte which does feel drying on my lips. but i have only just got into lipsticks i only ever use to wear glosses. but im loving it. definately summery and would go with most looks. dark brown hair tanned yellow undertones tendency towards sallowness, and grey eyes update washes me out doesnt swatch on the lips as it looks in the tube,

Lipstick -MAC - Style Warriors- Brave New Bronze [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
mkupmad727 6/27/2009 1:24:00 PM

im nc35, when i saw the lipstick i thought wow this looks mauvery and dark, definately not nude. i swatched it on my lips it was very smooth not drying at all but had a slight matte look. which is what i was looking for in a nude. funnily enough this is my exact lip colour it just evens out the dark patches i have from smoking. it is very opaque merely dabbing it on deposits enough colour. on me it mostly runs peachy pink. i think this is a great nude for warm skin tones because of the pink undertone in it which prevents it from looking orange. it doesnt run brown or bronze on me. however the lipstick by it self can run a bit one dimensional. i did buy this with liberated l/g to wear together. and its absolutely gorgeous with smokey khol rimmed eyes. i did by a back up of this because i wear smokey eyes all the time. i do see this looking great with bronzer and peachy blushes as well as brown smokey eyes. for ref, tanned skin with yellow undertones. dark brown hair and grey eyes.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Liberated - Style Warrior Lipglass
rated 5 of 5
mkupmad727 6/14/2009 1:07:00 PM

i bought a back up because i know i will never find another yellow pearly gloss apart from goldyrocks which i have no interest in. this is such an interesting colour it does not apply yellow but really does pop and make any lipstick you apply it over pop. im currently wearing it with bnb and it really adds another dimentsion to it rather than leaving it flat which it would be alone. as far as packaging goes i love it, it does come across cheesy but i adore leoapard print! i really do love this gloss and know i will get alot of use out of it. it is sticky it is thick but it sure as well lasts long on your lips. it seems to make my lips look fuller and moisturised. the price is the only issue for me, but for the packaging i will let that issue go. this is definately one fof those with nc skintones. im nc35 and find it brightens my complexion rather than playing up my yellow undertones.

ive never been able to successfuly glue lashes to my oily eyelids. this is some very strong glue my lashes stayed on from 8am to 8pm no fuss. and i had been at work all day, and at a sweaty bar in the evening. it does take some mastering to know the exact moment when to begin placing the glued lashes above your lashline. i must stress do not stick the lashes to your own lashes ABOVE the lashline because although i can easily peel off my lashes there was one day when it was too close to my own and did almost yank out my own. to try and alleviate this problem i will always make sure i coat my own lashes well with two coats of mascara. it does dry clear but does have a slight sheen to it. however, this does not bother me. overall i love this adhesive. the one complaint i do have is the applicator tip is wayyyyy too big so you will find you squeeze out excess product regularly. other than that i will be sticking to this glue for a long time.
