I was trying to figure out what this smelled like, it was so familiar!! It hit me!! It is almost identical to the ever so popular 80's scent....."Mackie". A dead ringer, only this is a softer more updated version. If you were a Mackie fan... you will absolutely LOVE this!

I have found my HOLY GRAIL in this foundation thanks to a lot of super helpful members on this site who took the time to answer my e-mails. I had absolutely no idea what shade would work for me and I couldn't seem to find a shade chart anywhere online!! In final desperation, I e-mailed pretty much EVERYONE who left a review for this makeup!!! I was lucky enough to e-mail a mua member, dreamer81 (Leena, wonderful person!!) who had the makeup in a shade (# 50-naturel) that was too dark for her but sounded like it would be perfect for me. It turned out that we only live 20 minutes from each other, so we met and I bought it from her for $25.00 Canadian!!! The makeup is absolutely the best I have ever tried & I will now never use any other brand again!! This stuff is honestly the BOMB!! I am 40 (ouch...you have no idea how much that hurts!!!) and my face is starting....okay...started to show signs of age in the usual places, eyes, forehead, mouth and so on. I used to always wear creme makeup because I liked the dewy full coverage effect it had. As I got older, I had to switch to liquid because it didn't settle in the creases as much as the crème, but I'd end up buying foundation with coverage so sheer, there was really no point in even wearing it. This Chanel foundation is everything everyone says it is and more!! It glides on like silk so effortlessly and leaves you feeling foundation free!!! Best of all.....it does NOT settle in my ever so increasing creases!!!! You are only left with an airbrushed flawless looking face without looking "made up". I wouldn't even wear a finishing powder with this, you really don't need it, this compact does it all!!! I give this a 5++++ rating! Younger or older, you can not go wrong with this stuff!! It is a little pricey, but you only need so little that it will last a long time! In this case, you get what you pay for. If you're like me, you probably spend a small fortune buying a half dozen bottles a year trying to find that "Holy Grail" only to be disappointed. You stick them in a drawer never to be used again anyway. Purchase this once....and you'll never have that problem again!! Now...if I can only find my HG mascara..... Thanks again to all of you who helped me on my quest...I am eternally grateful!

Fragrances -Boucheron - Jaipur Saphir

Absolutely beautiful fragrance!! Not too oriental, just a soft, pleasing scent and it lasts for hours!! I receive complements on it from everyone. It is a little expensive, but it's worth every dollar. A very classy perfume. My favorite!!
