Benzoyl peroxide is what first attracted me. Sadly I should have read the full list of ingredients. Acne wash with mineral oil and petrolatum are a big no-no! I started to break out more than usual shortly after I began using it but attributed it to the change in product. But after a few weeks I decided to investigate further. Then I found the petroleum as ingredients and that was the end of me using this cleanser on my acne-prone skin. But I gave it a lippy because it was cheap and it did leave my skin feeling moisturised after it was cleaned and not tight like other cleansers do.
I bought it for it's moisturizing properties. I have very dry skin and was looking for something a bit more inviting than my usual petroleum jelly and lotion mix. It's a thicker consistency which works for my skin. But it's annoying to use as a bar as it tends to exfoliate my hair as I pass it over my body. I have relatively fine hair so I don't shave or wax my body hair. So then I end up having to scrape off that excess hair, wasting this high priced product. So I now use it exclusively for my hands and for my lips. Works great for this. As long as you're looking for something a bit thicker as a moisturizer and are willing to shell out the money, I would most definitely suggest this product. But to my hairier friends, I say stay away from it.
I bought this in the blue shade expecting it to be blue and it's actually blue-black. Grr. Other than that it's the typical lash blast length. Lengthens without much added volumizing, yet separates the lashes and slightly curls them. Thankfully I bought it on sale for 2.75$ otherwise I would be a whole lot more annoyed that it's not the blue that I was expecting. Grr. But on reflection the container does show a blue-black colour so I guess it was the error of my interpretation.
Nice mascara. The formula is on the liquid side. I did experience a bit of clumping while I attempted to layer the product but not that big of a deal. It left my lashes (normally short with a slight curve) looking longer and curled, although not voluminous. I like the brush, it's short and made of that plastic/silicone material so it glides and I was able to reach my inner lashes without disturbing the middle lashes. I got the mascara for 3.99$+tx, the regular price is usually 7 or 8 dollars, not sure. Overall, I would buy this product again if it's on sale and I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a cheap, lash lengthening and curling mascara [I included it in a birthday bag for my sister :-)].
