Shampoo -Batiste - Dry Shampoo
miuization 5/15/2013 4:57:00 AM
It makes hair very dry, electric and tangled. Hair wont move after you've sprayed it in and it's a bit sticky to touch. Also if you have dark hair it will look white/grey when you're not careful enouch to brush it out.

Foundations -Too Faced - Amazing Face Oil Free Close-Up Coverage
miuization 2/13/2013 8:17:00 AM
This foundation looks good for first 3 hours when I set it with powder. After that face gets shiny. Everything that you have put on top - blush, bronzer, highlighter etc - will look bad after some time, because foundation starts to separate on skin and gather to any fine lines, pores and flakes. So you have to keep an eye on it. * I have used the foundation over 6 months now and lightest shade was almost perfect match. Now it has oxidized - it looks darker and more orangey. I think it's because of the packaging which is bad. Bottle is made of heavy glass which is not good when you'd like to bring it somewhere with you. It looks pretty on your makeup table but that's it. It doesn't have a pump so it's annoying to get the product out. Also every time you open it, air gets in so your foundation expires quicker. Plus you can't see how much you have left and you can't use it all up. * On the good side this foundation looks very natural when you have found the right shade. It doesn't feel heavy and it covers any imperfections very well. It doesn't set quickly at all so you have time to blend. Finish is more on dewy side and you have to powder it, otherwise your face is a bit tacky to touch. It looks the best when applied with buffing brush. Texture is a bit slippery, when you're using your fingers you'll just end up sliding the product around your face. * I'd say if you can deal with touching up during the day and you like glass bottles it is a good medium coverage foundation for normal/combination skin. It's definitely not suitable for really oily skin types because it will just melt. Keep in mind that lightest shade (Vanilla Creme) will oxidize (maybe you can still use the "new" color during summertime). PROS: * natural finish * feels comfortable * coverage * for combination skin * oil free CONS: * glass bottle * oxidizes after some time

Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - La Riche Directions semi-permanent hair colour
miuization 4/24/2012 11:09:00 AM
* I tried this color in Carnation Pink. It's ok I guess. I bleached my hair to medium blonde but I should've gone even lighter. Color does not work on dark hair at all. You have to bleach your hair very fair to make color show. Pink is very vibrant first you apply it and stays like this until you wash your hair. It fades quite fast and if your hair is not paper white, you'll end up with peachy-orange hair until the pink completely vanishes (first pink fades in a week, then you'll have warm peachy-tinted hair for rest of the month and the it will be your natural hair again). * I probably wouldn't buy it again because the upkeep is too much to deal with and I can't be bothered to dye my hair after three washes to keep the pink the way I want to. I'll use up what I have left though. * On the good side - dye doesn't make your hair dry and I think it even conditions it. On the tub it says to rinse the color out after 15-30 min but you can keep it on longer, it doesn't do any damage, it only makes color show up better. One tub lasts for one use on shoulder length hair. If you dip-dye or use it for streaks, you can use it multiple times. For pastel shades you can use 1 part of conditioner and 2 parts of dye mixed together, but then you'll have to keep it on longer.

Primer/ Corrector -Lumene - Beauty Base Face Makeup Base
miuization 12/23/2011 11:57:00 AM
This stuff is really bad. I got one which had "New and improved formula" sticker on it and is meant for oily-combination skin (like I have). This primer does not keep my foundation in place at all. I even think it is making my foundation staying power even worse. Sometimes I notice that my foundation cakes because of this primer (it sort of separates the foundation on my skin if it even makes sense). My face gets oily within 1-2 hours. I also tried to apply this on top of my foundation which makes no difference. It even broke me out on my forehead giving me little bumps. Consistency of this primer is strange. It feels like silicone-based product and is a bit crunchy when rubbing between your fingers. I would not purchase it again or recommend it to anyone. I still have whole tube left and I have no use for it because it is terrible.

Skincare - Face -Avene - Anti-redness Light moisturizing cream SPF 10
miuization 11/27/2011 6:08:00 AM
I used it as my morning moisturizer and it did its job. I have oily T-zone and normal cheeks. On my cheeks and side of my nose I have slight redness. I felt this lotion is quite moisturizing but light at the same time. Since it is almost winter time (central heating and low temperature outside is not good for skin at all) I didn't get any dry patches that I usually have during the season. The lotion is slightly green tinted which doesn't show up on your skin and it doesn't make you look green. It doesn't erase all the redness either, which I didn't think it would (how would a lotion make your broken capillaries vanish?). I consider it more like calming face cream which helps to protect your skin from getting irritated. I noticed that my face is more even toned than usual and it didn't make my face any oilier than it was. Some people say SPF 10 is too low. I think it depends on where you live. In my country we don't have a lot of sun shining all the time so SPF 10 is just fine. Maybe if you live more south then you should use higher protection. Overall I'd say it is good daily moisturizer for normal/combination skin. People with dry skin should use rich version of this. I really like the packaging since it is hygienic and you can get every last drop of the product. You don't need to use much to cover your face and neck. It also absorbs fast leaving your skin soft and comfortable (no greasy residue or itchiness). You shouldn't get your hopes up and think this lotion will erase your rosacea or broken capillaries. It doesn't. It is calming and moisturizing daily face cream which keeps your skin balanced. PROS: + calming + absorbs fast + doesn't leave residue + light and not oily + makes skin feel comfortable and soft + SPF + packaging + doesn't cause break outs + no noticeable fragrance CONS: - can't think of any

Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 88 color matte palette
miuization 11/27/2011 5:45:00 AM
I know eBay is full of these palettes. Brands just order them somewhere and just stick their logo on it. So you can order this palette cheaper on eBay or some Chinese website. I got the 88 matte palette because everyone recommended it. It is no bad but nothing amazing either. Eyeshadows are not very pigmented. Some of them are more pigmented than the others. For example black is not black, rather deep grey toned, some colors you just have to keep layering to make them show up on your skin. I used it every day since I got it and I'm almost out of the neutral colors. When you hit pan on some of the tones, they get even less pigmented - you have to scrape your brush or just break the color in order to use it all up. Some colors are very powdery and because of that 1/3 of the palette is unusable. Packaging is ok if you use it on table. Mine broke after couple of uses, the lid just fell off. So if you'd like to travel and bring your palette with you, I suggest you to wrap it into bubble wrap. I'd recommend this palette for someone young who is just starting experimenting with makeup. You get all the colors you need and you are less likely to mess up your look if you use less pigmented eyeshadows. Even though I used my palette every day, I wouldn't purchase it again. I just don't like the pigmentation and chalky eyeshadows. Colors are not unique either. I would rather spend more money on better quality products that I enjoy using than buy loads of not so good ones. Eyeshadows are very small in size too.

Liquid -La Roche Posay - Toleriane-Corrective Fluid Foundation
miuization 10/19/2011 8:21:00 AM
I got this foundation in nr 10 and 11. There's not big of a difference between colors - Ivory 10 is more neutral beige toned, while 11 is maybe a tiny bit pinker but I still can use it on my warm toned skin without looking ashy or pink. I have oily acne-prone skin which breaks out when products I use are wrong. This foundation doesn't do that. It is full coverage foundation which sets nicely. You have to have moisturized and non-flaky skin or otherwise it will look bad (like any other foundation would). Once you apply it, it may look a bit powdery or heavy but when it sets, it will look even and healthy. Depending on the amount and brush you use, you can get different coverage. Duo-fiber brush applies foundation more sheer while flat top kabuki gives full coverage. You don't even need pea sized amount of this foundation to cover your whole face (I use it very lightly to even out my skin). It lasts on without primer and powder 3-4 hours before I notice oils coming through. If you have oily skin, you need a primer or very light powder to help it last longer. I don't use it during summer because I don't need that much coverage and my skin looks better in summertime anyway, I think it would be a bit thick for summer. It feels comfortable on skin for a high coverage foundation. It doesn't make skin tight or itchy. I usually use duo-fibre stippling brush which gives less coverage but looks very nice. You need to take time blending it though or it will look patchy because the texture is quite thick. Foundation covers redness, acne marks and other spots you may have amazingly well. It doesn't have strong scent which I like, but it has medicine like smell which fades very quickly so that is not a problem for me. I don't know how it's on dry skin but it is amazing for oily acne-prone skin. Pros: * SPF * finish is semi-matte, very natural, not oily or shiny * medium to full coverage depending on your brush choice * tube - you can get every last drop of it and it's hygienic * perfect color match if you have light yellow/neutral skin (Clinique Anti-Blemish foundation in nr 2 or MAC NC20 can use Ivory 10 shade) * reasonably priced * doesn't feel heavy Cons: * I have to order it online * color selection is not good (if you are very pale, even the lightest shade will look too dark on you)

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
miuization 10/3/2011 8:44:00 AM
This is my favorite primer. I have oily lids but this keeps my eyeshadow in place for all day. Eyeshadows do not crease or fade the entire day. Tube lasts very long time, mine went bad even before I could use all of it up. Only downside is the price (15€) which is rather high for this kind of thing. I have to warn you buying this product from Ebay. I ordered one because it was cheaper than in stores and got fake one: * tube was taller than original * consistency was more liquid * color was light pinky-ashy toned, not beige * consistency was sticky, not smooth and soft * writings on the back were in smaller font * price was too low * didn't hold eyeshadows in place at all (maybe only 2h, but it's the same as without primer) * sample Primed & Poreless was opened from the back which is supposed to be pressed firmly (and had same quality as listed above). Sadly I didn't take pictures of it before I threw it away. So be aware that fake ones are around and are very hard to differ from real one if you haven't used it before.

Tinted Moisturizer -Avene - Cleanance Tinted Emulsion
miuization 9/7/2011 1:02:00 PM
This is really nice product to use every morning. It only does come in one shade which suits me quite well, but you need to blend very carefully. In the summer I use it just on its own, it evens out skin tone tiny bit when I'm tanned. Any other season I use it under my makeup (it doesn't make me look darker when foundation applied over it) and it helps foundation to stay on better. This lotion controls oils a bit too, doesn't break me out and contains thermal water. If you don't want the colored version, Avene makes clear one too.

Treatments -Avene - Cleanance K
miuization 9/7/2011 12:13:00 PM
This is my favorite skincare item so far even though it is more on the expensive side. I'm nearly out of my second tube. I use it almost every night all over my face (and other problem areas). In the morning my skin feels so soft, smooth and looks radiant. It got rid of every blackhead on my face and it soothes irritated and red pimples. You have to keep in mind that you need to use sunscreen every day, because the lotion contains acids which makes your skin more sensitive to sun. I don't recommend using it during summer or when you are on your acne treatment (you should consult with your doctor first). It doesn't have a strong scent, but it does smell a bit medicine like which fades really quickly. There is no need to use other moisturizers afterwards. Avene cream feels light and nice on skin, absorbs fast and doesn't leave any residue. It regulates oil secretion too and helps to keep your skin matte. PROS: + makes skin really soft and smooth + helps to fight acne, pimples etc + skin looks fresh + oil-controll + packaging CONS: - can't think of any
