Treatments (Eye) -Perricone - High Potency Eye Lift

Despite all the negative reviews here i have to say that for me it is working very well so far. I wanted to try something for my dark and tired looking eyes and got myself two large samples of this eye lift serum and within about ten days of 2-3 time daily applications my eye area is looking much better, lighter, tighter and brighter. I will see if the results continue and most probably will purchase again.
I love this treatment, i use it mainly as a treatment as im growing my nails and then as a basecoat and i it really works for me. It helps keep my nails healthy and strong and im sure it makes them grwo faster also. Am definatly repurchasing and would recommend it to friends.
After reading the reviews i was expecting this to be quite drying but i didnt find that it was drying at all and i use it once a day. The foam feels really luxurious and you only need a really small amount to get a great amount of thick foam, but best of all i find this to really brighten my skin a lot and give it clarity. I will definatly be repurchesing and feel i may just have found my HG face wash!
Moisturizers -Perricone - Face Finishing Moisturizer

Ive only just tried a sample of this moisturiser so il update after a few weeks use, but i can say that upon intial use i have just gone straight onto ebay an purchased another larger pot. This cream is absoloutly gorgeous, it smells lovely and the texture is just right. It soaks right into my skin absorbing almost straight away and leaving a silky, matte and refined feel yet it is plenty moistursing. I dont know how this would do for dry skin as mine is normal/combination but this is exactly what ive been looking for. May just my hg face cream but il see how it does after a few weeks and update.
I use the Lacura creams so i decided to treat myself to this along with some body care items last time i went food shopping at Aldi. I love this stuff! The bottle is lovely, frosted glass with a twist-lock pump that is travel friendly and looks classy on my dressing table. The serum itself is gorgeous, light and ydrating and smoothing. My skin feels silky and smooth as glass and it is refining and evening out my skintone. Its lovely and light and i would use out of the bath or shower when i don't want or need to use a cream or full skincare routine, but need a little something as my skin tends to feel tight after a bath/shower.
I first bought this cream last summer when i needed a moisturiser that was light and refreshing and wouldnt contribte to my face being oily (due to a hormonal inbalance). It is a lovey texture and great for oily and combination skin, and also young skin although i will continue to use it with a powerhouse serum underneath to address any preventative/aging concerns. I alternate this with the Q10 day cream from Lacura according to the seasons and/or how my skin is feeling.
Moisturizers -Lacura - Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream

I absoloutly love this night cream, i look forward to putting it on at night because it has such a smooth and silky texture. I also the Q10 day cream, and this cream has a a lighter feel but makes your skin feel like velvet and sinks right in with no balling up or rubbing off. People have commented on the strong smell but i like the smell, it is a floral type smell and all Aldi/Lacura have this lovely smell. I will continue using this and definatly repurchase.
In recent years ive found myself with less disposable income (thanks recession!) and after working my way through all my high end skincare i was down to my samples and travel sizes. I usually do all my grocery shopping in Aldi and decided that i would try their skincare too as i'd heard good things about it and also my mother uses it and she looks good for her age. This cream is a nice consistancy, absorbs really well and leaves my skin feeling reall dewy soft and moisturised. It also has a decent amount of anti aging benefits. Off the top of my head i think its £1 something but may be £2 (as are all of aldi skin and body are range) something but that is an incredible price for a moisturser that works better than most drugstore brands. Also the Q10 night cream is utterly divine- but thats another review!
Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

I didn't know much about facial brushes but really liked the idea, but the clarisonic was out of my price range. So i was delighted to see this mentioned which is in my price range and i preferred the idea of the spinning brush over one that just vibrates. It isn't available in UK shops but you can order it online. It come with a small tube of exfoliating cleanser which is quite nice and i use both with and without the brush. I use it on full speed about 70% of the time and on the slower speed on exfoliating days as i don't want to over scrub, but i doubt that it would anyway as the brush bristles are soft and gentle. Even though it does feel nice and soft it definatly cleans better than just hands and also does a better job of mildly exfoliationg and smoothing the skin than a face cloth and cleanser. After the first use my face started looking brighter and it feels so smooth that its almost addictive! My serums and creams absorb a whole lot better and work much harder, you also need less which saves a bit of money. All in all i absoloutly love my olay brush and will never be without it, if anything were to happen to it i would definatly re-purchase.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Peach Daiquiri

Loved the look of this in the bottle but i needed like a bazillion coats to get a true colur to show up and even then although it looks nice, it is hard work because there are so many coats that it takes forever to properly set and gets smidged and dented even hours later. Gonna use this to layer over another peach i think to save the hassle.
Ive been eyeing up nail crackle for a while and was debating whether to get the opi one, but i saw this in my local superdrug last week while nail polish shopping and snapped it up. Its a fraction of the price of the opi one and the effect is just as good. I tried it out today over zoya hope which is a metallic purple and it looks lovely, i dont think photos do it justice for some reason as it looks way prettier on the nail. Love it!! Will repurchase.
This stuff is as great as people say and exactly what i was looking for in a cuticle remover, plus you get so much of it it will last years! I decant it into an empty nail polish bottle and brush it on leave it for 5mins and all the stuff that builds arounnd the sides of my nails can be scraped of easily. Excellent stuff and amazing value for money and i will continue to repurchase, although i won't have to that often as you get so much of it.
I bought this based on the great reviews here and have been applying it about twice a day since and i must admit it doesn't appear to be making much of a visible difference to my cuticles, plus the smell is a bit funky. I don't think i'll be repurchasing, I'll either just stick to my qtica or try the poshe aha cream next.
This stuff is awesome and the amount you get for the price is amazing. I bought it when i moved house 7mths ago for roughly 2.99GBP and still have over half the pot left. I use it most days and if i dont have polish on, multiple times daily. I was using burts bees lemon butter cuuticle cream but when i started using this for nail strength i found i didn't need to and my burts bees has been virtually untouched for months as this seems to do even better at moisturising the cuticle aswell as adding strength to the nails. I will be buying this faithfully for life!
Ive been wanting to get this for a while based on he reviews here but it was a bit expensive, so when i finally got my uni grant i decided i would splash out on it as i am an absolute nail fanatic. This stuff is as great as people say, my cuticles were ok but now they look salon perfect- and im a perfectionist with myself! It is fairly thick, flowery smelling and deeply moisturising but even so it doesn't feel really greasy like most ive used. Glad i spent on this and will be continuing to do so.
