I just had to write a review for this lovely scent. If you love Herve Leger-type scents, you will love this. It is a bit like Jimmy Choo and Flowerbomb, but those were too sweet, and I could not get past the patchouli in them. This has that same quiet warmth, a bit sweet and powdery, but without the patchouli. It also lasts VERY well.Never overpowering though. I hope it is not going to be discontinued anytime soon.I have only seen it at Ulta. I just adore it. Sweet and cuddly without being gourmand and sickening. You really must try it.
This is a polarizing scent for sure. I love it. My husband absolutely hates it. Go figure. Use sparingly though, quite strong. I cannot wear Fracas at all and I love this, so they are similar but not identical. This is sweeter, but less buttery, if that makes sense.
Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Mascara Base [DISCONTINUED]

It almost took kerosene to get this crap off my lashes.
I am picky when it comes to mascara. I LOVE this one. No clumping, easy to wash off, really makes my lashes longer. Great.
I REALLY wanted to like this one. The initial blast is great, but then the gardenia vanishes (why does gardenia alwyas have to do this?), and the scent becomes a watered down, clean, lotion smell on me. I would love it if that gardenia did not disappear. I am obviously in the minority here though, and am glad others like it. Just wear it around a bit before you purchase, because it really changes.
Fragrances -Trish McEvoy - Trish McEvoy #4 Gardenia Musk

If this was stronger and lasted longer, it would be my holy grail sign. scent. The first blast is sheer loveliness. Unfort., after about 10 seconds..POOF! It is gone. If they could make a concentrated version, i would be in scent heaven. I also use the Sexy No4 gardenia, but this also does not last long. MAJOR BUMMER. It is also very $$$$.
I really like this one. A clean, soft, white musk. Perfect for everyday, not at all sweet or a floral mess. i guess this could be unisex, i actually prefer scents that are not over the top girlie. you can get this a LOT cheaper online, esp. at FragranceX. The in store price is crazy. I am a big fan of Bulgari scents anyway. This scent also layers WONDERFULLY. I wear it with Trish Mcevoy sexy No4 gardenia and it is heaven.
I ADORE this scent. It is a bit pricey, and i am not crazy about the bottle, but the scent is beyond beautiful. A soft, mellow floral. Never sharp or cloying. Lasts forever. I don't think sweet pea is among the notes, but it sure smells a bit like sweet pea on my skin. This is along the lines of Maybe Baby, and NR possibly. If you like those, give this a try. I LOVE it. Possibly a HG. Oh, one more thing. The reviewers are correct as far as this not smelling at all like the pink jasmine flower, although i love that scent also. This is not as sweet, which actually makes it more wearable than if it were identical to the flower.
It has been a long time since i have taken the time to review a scent, but this one i just had to. I LOVE this scent. I am a gardenia lover, tuberose i have a bit of a more prickly relationship with. I love the flower, but the scent can get too cloying and annoying sometimes.Almost gaggingly sweet. This is a completely wearable tuberose to me. Maybe it is the bergamont? I don't know, but it is almost a skin scent if you just put one spray on. It is much more natural than the other tuberose scents that i have passed on ( Fracas, EL Tuberose and Gardenia, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs). It smells a bit woodsy. I LOVE it. It still is not very gardenia, Yves Rocher has the monopoly on nailing that. But as a tuberose, it is very beautiful and not shrill at all. You can get it cheaper on ebay also. I have heard that the lotion is a bit different, so i have not tried that.
Oh my how i wanted to love this. I LOVE the bottle. But this on me is horrid. I have tried it maybe half a dozen times, just hoping my chemistry would finally allow it, but no. I is waaaay too screaming floral on me. A major scrubber. A major disappointment. So sad...
Oh my lord, i cannot express how much i dislike the scent of this. i LOVE jasmine, but this is no Marc Jacobs floral, it is very indole, animalistic, downright dirty smelling jasmine. It is REALLY nasty on my skin. I used it twice and threw it away. I am still waiting for the b.o. stench to leave my shower. I usually do not have such negative reactions to things, but this was really bad. I know a LOT of people love it though, so good luck.
If you have ever tried the discontinued TRUTH by Calvin Klein, then you get the just of this. On my skin anyway, there is ZERO jasmine detectable. this is PURE green. I happen to like green scents, so i was excited about this, but where is the jasmine ? If this had a more pronounced jasmine, i would have loved it. I even tried layering this with Marc Jabobs BLUSH ( a WONDERFUL jasmine by the way!), but to no avail. The green just ate it up. This is like Kai, without the gardenia. You know how Kai has that green, leaf-like note ,esp at the beginning? well this is like that through and through, the floral part cannot get out from under it. More $$$ saved for me. Miller Harris Jasmine Vert was also a disappointment to me. I am sticking with BLUSH.MAKE SURE YOU GET A TESTER OF THIS. I read the reviews here and almost got a bottle unsniffed. I got a decant of ebay.Thank goodness. This, to me anyway, was very unlike the reviews i read here. Like i said, no jasmine on my skin.
I LOVE this scent. It is mostly jasmine, true, but for me that is a plus. I LOVE Jasmine. I get a licorice note in the drydown (?) even though i do not think anise is listed in the notes. i wonder if that is what some of the members are smelling . I love this stuff. It stays on my clothes for a long time.UPDATE: I am tired of the licorice note. also hard to hold in hand and spritz. awkward design.
Yesterday i was at work, i came around the corner , and smelled the most lovely smell i have experienced in months. I tracked the woman down, asked what she was wearing, and this was it. I was suprised. i had worn this in the 80's, and remember thinking it was ok, but a bit strong and way to "florally" for me. It smelled like heaven on this woman, so now i am going to go buy at least a small bottle. It was so lovely. She told me that she only wears the lotion when she wants it to be very light, like at work.
This IS a beautiful fragrance, do not get me wrong. My only complaint , is that it smells EXACTLY like the Pour Femme on me. Now THAT is a nice scent for sure, but this is called Voile de JASMIN. Yet there is really not very much jasmine in it. It smells like violets and rose. Strange, i know, because i believe there are not even violets IN this scent, but it smells just like the Pour femme. Where is my jasmine ???
