Mascara -Rimmel - Extra Super Lash mascara

I was searching for mascara reviews to see which new one I should try out. I saw this one and decided to try it, since people were raving about it. This now my HG mascara! It works better than any mascara I've ever tried, drugstore or high-end! It makes my lashes crazy long, super volumized, and super defined and seperated. You can layer and layer and it doesn't clump at all. I usually do 3 layers and each and every lash is still defined. The nice thing about this mascara is that you can have nice, subtle defintion or crazy, dramatic lashes. I also have noticed my bare lashes look longer, but it doesn't say it is supposed to make lashes grow. It is amazing and I would recommend it to anybody who has short lashes or wants amazing definition!

My skin: I have keratosis pilaris mildly on my face and a more severe case on my arms. I have tried many products to help unclog my pores to get the excess keratin out, but most haven't worked and many made it worse. I have a clarisonic and it does wonders for my blackheads, but my stubborn keratosis pilaris has yet to cured by it. I don't get pimples, so I would consider my skin pretty good. I have normal to dry skin. My only problem is blackheads occasionally on my nose and the keratosis pilaris. This product: Last summer while I was at Target I decided to pick this up. I had heard a lot of great things about the YES TO line. I read that this had natural ingrediants to unclog pores and fight blackheads. It sounded perfect! I tried it and found that in about a week most of my tiny little bumps had disappeared! I was so happy to have smooth skin! I went through a bottle and a half. Then winter came rolling in and I soon realized my skin was back to it's same habits. I had my bumps again. So I bought the clarisonic and was unfortunately disappointed. This product was the only thing yet to work. However, it only seems to work for me during a certain season. It is back to April and I'm on my third bottle of this stuff. I have smooth skin right now, but I'll have to see if it lasts. I may have to find a winter skin care routine, but I know what works during spring and summer! PROS: Gentle Scrub that is nice enough to use daily and I have dry skin. Packaging is nice. Cruelty- free brand Natural ingrediants Works during the hotter months for me CONS: Smells a little like tomatoes, but it's not horrible (Goes away when you wash it off) For some reason it doesn't always work on my keratosis pilaris Can be hard to find (Target and Ulta is where I get it) Overall, I think this is a great product for what it claims to do. It gets rid of my blackheads and it does keep my skin clear, in terms of acne.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter

Let me just say that I absolutely love these! I'm 15, so lipstick isn't really what I like to wear on a daily basis, because it is so drying. However, this is more like a balm than a thick lipstick. It moisturizes my lips wonderfully and has the pigment of a normal lipstick. After seeing tons of reviews and raves on youtube.com, I decided to try one out for myself. I picked up Berry Smoothie, because it seemed to be a very popular color and it was gorgeous. I instanstly fell in love and decided that I NEEDED to pick up more! My mom thinks I'm crazy, because I already have so many lip products, but these are my favorite things ever! I now have Berry Smoothie, Cotton Candy, and Sweet Tart, but I'm going to get more soon!

Mascara -Revlon - Photoready 3D Volume

I've heard a lot of great things about this mascara, and let me say that they were all true! It makes my little lashes huge, volumized, and not clumpy at all! It does everything that I want a mascara to do. It lengthens, adds volume, and defines each little lash! I would definitely say this is one of my favorite mascaras!

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Mia

I really wanted to love this product. I had saved my grade money up and after being tired of my skin looking bad, I finally splurged. I was so excited to get the skin everyone raved about, but after a few days of using it my skin began to purge. I had never had acne, just little annoying bumps on my face, but when using this I got more than ever! After two weeks, I gave up. A few weeks ago I picked it up again and tried using it. Nothing on my skin has changed, if anything, it's worse. I'm not sure if I'll return it or just keep it and hope that I'm just dealing with teen problems and it will maybe work one day. I'm disappointed in this product, especially with the price tag, but maybe it's not for everyone. :(
