Love thiS. I purchased upon reading a review and I have a brownish red colurant and my hair is dry and dull and frizzy and I wanted some shine but didnt want a serum per se hence I purchased this. I have got this lovely travel sized product to shove in my hand bag and save my dry hair from looking dull..I like that this isnt greasy as so many products are. Whatever your hair colour this will give it some gloss and vibrancy. If you want extra vibrancy then use it on damp hair becuase after ablowdry you will get a reflective look which is certainly more evident in my dark hair. Its a good high street price and certainly matches up to those expensive brands by a mile. Will buy again and the packaging makes it stand out so its easy to buy when in a rush...Its a must have product and adds shine with a polished nono greasy look and helps slightly tame flyaway hairs and frizz when I dab it on dry hair.
OH my this is something else. Puchased a few hours ago and used it a few minutes ago and I used it because for the first time ever in my thirties I haave split ends. I have been straightening my curls and I lightened my hair and the result is dry staw like brittle hair and split ends and you know when it looks like your hair has white heads when you see it in the daylight the ends are a disgrace I lobbed them off myself and nipped out to the hair salon and got this range. All 3 products from this range. Thi review is the shampoo because I am washing my hair again tomo and using the shampoo again with the conditioner and the styling product. This shampoo is in an attractive gold bottle looking like a petroleum bottle. It stands out in its orgianal looking bottle so it looks pretty on display if your actually bothered by that. Smells chemically more like a moisturiser for your face. It also looks more like a conditioner in its white creamy consistency its runny like a shampoo though. But most of all a little goes a long way so I should be using this for about 2 months if I wash my hairs 3 times a week. It does the job. It actually is pretty phoenomenol. I am not a great beleiver in costly shampoos as high street ones are just as good. But when it comes to conditioning extremly brittle hair it really is coconut oil or nowt. But I wanted different and this has awards and is highly reccomended by people with damamged hair so I bought it and thankfully its great. I am so happy with it and it is worth it. I will teamwit hthe conditioner tomo and will write reviews on the conditioner and the leave in product. I am elated but I guess if I will need to use this till my hair repairs. I will try the extreme version of this too. I wish my hair could stay this soft. It also has a shine like health it never had that ebfore the shampoo and when my hair was in mint condition. Hmm worth the money will theses results thats for sure. It gets a gold star from me...
This is so pretty I have been searching for a nude palette and want the Urban Decay one but its always sold out so I opted for an alternative brand. Pixi is something I have seen about but never purchased until I saw this palette. It has 18 shades that are neutral looking and would suit all skin types. The difference with this palette is that is doesnt have the shimmer of the Urban Decay palette these shades are satiny and far more natural looking and look like a no makeup look. This is espcially great for the pale girl because these nudes a re ligt. All of the colours are fresh and this is great for spring and summer. These shades are for the eyes and cheeks but I use the lighter shades as highlighters for the tip of nose, temples and the top of my cheekbones. Its a pretty girly pallete and far more delicate than urban decays sexier shimmery nudes. The Pixi palette is the one item you can take on holiday because it has pale nudes and deep nudes. It has dark shades also and moreso lots of light shades. My faves are the vanilla and cocoa but they are all going tobe used which is unusal for me palettes usually mean one or two are getting used with intent for the others. Reall ycheck this out. The pigment isnt very strong but thats not what I am going for because they have staying power and thats all that I need.
I just got these in the sale and was meaning to purchase after I heard Victoria Beckham and Danni Mingonue use this palette. I love their eye makeup and ssparkly eyes are not really my thing espcially shimmery eyeshadows. But admiring their looks forced me to purchase this. Thankfully it was discounted but that may be due to this being a limited edition. I have hazil eyes with lots of green and this works fine. I beleive this will work for green eyes and brown and dark eyes. Possibly blue as well/ I guess that covers them all. Mind you pale skin my need a little warming up with bronzer if you want to opt for the tangerine colour. The particles are fine and it really is glitttery but a shimmer glitter not a cheap looking one. This palette will last for ages and is great for a night on the town. I am loving the pink this is really pretty and I wet it for a stronger more striking effect. Love this loads. I reccomend this to makeup junkies and anyone who likes a night out and dress upp cos this is pretty special for the eyes. If you want cheaper versions check out bourjois.
Eyeliner -Laura Mercier - Caviar Eye Liner - Black

Use this product wet if you want staying power. I find it doesnt stay put for longer than 2 hours even with minimum extertion. I apply all my foundation and no powder. Then I line my eyes with my liner/shadow brush and dra along the bottem and across the top of my lash line framing my eyes. I make certain that this is wet to get more precision and more depth with the colour. I dust a little translucent powder sometimes over it and reapply again and this way I actually do get a little more staying power.I purchasd this in black and mahogony brown which is better fo rthe day as it is not so harsh. I must admit I cannot believe how different this is to other eyeliners. This really is outstanding as it gives a pretty striking look and even if I copy this look with other brands cheap and expensive I cannot seem to replicate this cat eye look like I can with this brand. It is amazing I feel like I hve finally discovered a really profesional brand. Although I have tried a couple of products in this line before I have never been too happy but this well this really has opened up my eyes. It really works well with a brush and I get a professioanl catwalk worth feline eyes. Black is sooo striking and the Mahongony brown is perfect for the day and I can really deepne it. This liner is softer than coal and really works for me both colours. I have hazel/green eyes and it works well. But I think both black and mahongony brown will suit all eyes. I would reccomend trying this eyeliner to anyone its a real find. I may look at more eye products in this range now. I also feel alothugh it is fairly expnesive compared to many high end brands I feel like it has got longevity of a year used daily because a little goes a long way. Thats really going to be an investment for anyone who wants a sexy feline eye. Try before you buy or pop along to a counter if you really dont want to splurge perhaps they will provide a makeover or try it yourself at the counter. I really think this is worth it. I am so glad I have discovered this.
Eyeliner -New York Color - FlatLiner Eye Pencil in Cobblestone

Nice cheap and affordable funky brand. You get a lot of product for a good pirce. I reckon the best cheap brand out there. It is innovative in some of its products that stands it apart from other brands. This product is a flat eye pencil that is not like a typical eye kohl it really is more a waxy eyeshadow that you smudge across the eye and around it. It doesnt have the texture to stay put for long because it is too waxy and not really pigmented. However this is great to use as waterproof makeup and in the sun because it has a natural look yet still has colour. This colour pencil is a bronze and as it is waxy I think anyone can pull off this colour as it comes out light. How I sharpen this I dont know I presume I get the pencil sharpener fro this range. It is very lfat and square.I have just tried biting off the lid and it cracked Irealise that part is plastic and thought it may reveal a sharpener - dont try this as it doesnt. Would be a great idea this. This pencil doesnt have enough depth so I will not be buying it again. I love the other products in this range though.
I will first say this is unlike the liquid foundation form of Photo ready which is thicker and more matt and definately not nice and dewy. This compact foundation creme in texture than than the liquid version however it certainly does not provide the full coverage I was expecting. This stuff does come off your face but is still nice if you have dry skiin but need ammeduim cover. I like this old fashioned way of applying foundation with the sponge.. I like to see the mirror, sponge and foundation together. This foundation has a guaze that elimnates you apllying to much pressure therefore stops it all coming out. Its a nice idea and keeps it neat and tidy and stops overuse and wastage. However there really is little foundation in here for your money. I will buy this again simply because it is itdy and more comapct yet is still a liquid. However it would be better if it was a bit more dense and had more coeverage like you would expect with creme foundationd. I think it is good and gives a mediocore coverage that looks fresh and natural but a lit more staying power and this would have been perfect. Perhaps it will be better if I top up the areas with a concealer or a powder. I prefer not to use powder soemtimes because it is too mattifying. This foundation is still great and worth buying because it mimics the old chanel style creme foundation that I use to love because it really looks like yuo are not wearing any. Nice colour selection too more yellow base. I use 200 natural beige which is more nc25 a light warm colour.
Im loving this mascara at the mo. I am not nuts about mascara and generally dont bother with it I prefer eyeliner and find it takes up too much time to curl my lashes anyway. But since I have discovered this after receiving it as a gift I must say I am sold and will revert back to using mascara. It has lovely white and silver packaging and stands out in my makeup bag. It is mascara delivered on a comb styl ebrush that separates and lengthens and actually lifts and does give impact. My lashes are dark and glossy rather than dull looking. This mascara addes a shine to my lashes and really fans them out so they look natural. I rate this for doing the job it says. The wand has a longer comb which grabs all the lashes with one stroke and Im done and out the door. This is great for the wide aawake look and separation. If you are looking for more drama then use a mascara after this that is thickening. I like this lots and will defo buy again.
'Like A Prayer' is the colour I have been using. It is a peachy-pink and very moisturing and also has a strong pigment and the colour sits nicely on my lips. It is fairly highly priced for a balm however it is worth it because it moisturises and looks like a balmy lipstick and the colour is incomparable to any colour I have seen. It is natural and pretty and girly and makes my lips look fuller. It comes in a cute translucent round pot with a decent amount of lippy with a mirror inside though pretty useless as you can only view your lips. Btu hey its gorgeous packaging. I love this colour and will buy it again though its only in one store in London that I know of. I really reccomend these for lipstick or lipgloss lovers who hate sticky glosses and whom have dry lips. This is for you!
I have been meaning to review this...I wanted a new purfume at Christmas and heard Tresor had one out. I had been admiring that Tresor advert with that actress on it and I loved the way they said the purfume and it looked all sophisticated. I heard the perfume in the advert was ok but nothing special so never purchased it. Then recently I heard they had a lighter and better smelling version so I thought I wouyld indulge as it looked sophiscated and pretty in a romatic bottle with a rose wearable elasticated ring thing over the top of the bottle. Also it had a lovely blush colour and looked girly. I saw it in a sale and went with it. My boyfriend discribed the smell as soft - well he doesnt work at a fragrance store bless him but I think he means light but he repeated soft nodding apprecaiteively. It is light and romantic and slightly floral, I really cant pinpoint much barely a rose but not a rose fragrance but I cant identify much. But I like it aas it is suttle and simply feminine and non offensive. Like as if a man wouldnt know you were wearing a fragrance and perhaps you just smelt nice like a sultry female but a natural woman scent. I read this fragranceis class for the modern older woman. So I gather that is me. I like it as it does have a timeless scent and I probably wont buy this again but if they again upgrade this or make it longer lasting in terms of scent or perhaps another version with fruit then yes I am buying. But this fragrance is a safe bet for the older classic perfume loving fan of chanels and the like. Get it for mothers or ladies in their thirties and beyond as it is classy and has a slight powder to it.
Oh thank gosh I never paid for this...I was absolutely desperado to purchase a new fragrance, one that hadnt really being popular on the frragrance scene. Every perfume I ever like for example the lovely Michael Kors fragrance suddenly becomes overtly popular and then becomes distasteful and common. Then I researched and read about this Givenchy fragrance. As popular as Givenchy is this fragrance seems ed to get good undercover reviews and its hard to obtain only at two department stores in the UK and airports if you are lucky. Its not readily available put it that way. I saw some highly faviourable reviews and thought yes this is my next buy. I knew someone was travelling so they purchased me a bottle. Unfortunately Inever exactly smelt it before and they returned with a 100ml bottle...would of been wonderful if I had liked it seeing as this was the biggest bottle of fragrance I had ever had if you exclude Charlie Red - which smells better by the way... So I see this cute and large vintage bottle and its very similar and wouldnt look out of place on a fifties dressing table and it has a lovely Vanilla Colour in a whhite glass lampshape base style bottle. Nice..and then I spray it..No I spray it again as I cant believeeeee the smell. It smells like a cheap Elizabeth Arden fragrance - like Splendour I think it is...but only a cheaper smelling version of that combined with glue. I spray it again and douse myself in it not believing this fragrance to be the right one but it is. Its not quite the lemon citrusy scent with Mandarin orange, rose,Tonka bean, cedar & Japanese basil. Sounds exciting and all these smells only are great on their own so you expect something exciting...espacailly with this high end price. But no its kinda glue like..1st second is a cheap pound shop smell and then a second later just one dimensional - how? look at all these scents and there is even more gone into this yet I detect nothing..I feel sooo cheated. Its expensive and raved about but I cant be having this sfragrance I am testing it but the feedback is not good. I am in my thirties and was told this was young and fruity and fresh and light. I find it light it more like a gluey toilet freshner that you wouldnt purchase. Actually I know it reminds me of the smell of a public toilet. After a minute you smell the alcohol and thats all you smell and it doesnt go it is overpowering. Givenchy are famous for the very irrestible etc but this...well if you are a fan of any of there glam scents this doesnt come close I cannot put you off enough. This will never be popular although I purchased it hearing a celeb loved it in the UK and chased up info and reviews on it and they were good. There was only a couple of reviews but they were positive so I went with it. I feel gutted. But it will remain on my dresser because of the bottles sexy franch vintage look. I love the bottle and the purfume will remain inside unless I decide to move it to the bathroom. This will not be a purfune for me I know that much. I will try get my mamas opinion but I doubt anyone could be keen on this. Sorry Givenchy have failed because I want to reccomend this at least to someone young old likes this or that. But no can do...Why did I ask for this as a gift..so glad I didnt pay though.
I loved this so much and its a competitor for the Max Factor version which is similar to this although the max factor version has more matchable shades to my skin. This Maybelline foundation had just pale shades well at least in the uk I am light med but this was all fair skin tones with yellowish hints all too pale. The coverage was great more full coverage and it was natural looking and spuerblendable. I liked that there was a lot of yellow but it is not easy to find. I get the feeling that this is surely to be discontinued. I love the creamy foundations as the solid liquid foundations are less messy and offer more coverage and moisture for my skin. I use a little translucent powder on the T-Zone to give it a amttying effect adn more staying power. This is great for super pale girls as you guys defo struggle trying cheaper brands that are pale as I have noticed with my freinds and sisters etc. I really think you will lvoe this. Remember keep this lid on or you will find it will cake if it does this then you have yourself a great concealer so you dont need to throw it away. I would give this foundation a full 5 marsk if it had my colour but sadly thats not the case however I am wearing it pale and mixing it with deeper foundtions because it offers a great coverage and staying power so its not going to waste for sure. Try before you buy! Great for drier skins and acne prone skins. If you have oily skin dont fret it is slightly mattifying just use translucent or sheer poswer over the top. I just love Maybellien foudantions they really are the best on the high street..
I love Burts Bees I love the minty smell of the beeswax and highly reccomend the burts bees in thetin as a lipbalm. It is less waxy and has a peppermint smell. When it is on a stick I find it has a honey scent and is not very moisturisng nevertheless it is a daily lip moisturiser and if used daily it will combat dry lips but if you have major dry lips opt for the burts beeswax in the tin. I like that this comes in different tints and they can all be bought at good heath stores. They come in hints of colour and I paticularly like the berry shades. It is not tested on animals and the pacaking stands out and is familar with the brand. I like that its more organic that standard lipbalms but if you are looking for softer lips then try the tinned version of this balm. Also this balm is non sticky and leaves a smooth film on the lips sop it looks natural and not overtly greasy. I love this brand.
Looks great when you see it online as single colours but is far from how it looks. It is very sheap looking adn is very unatural and shimmery. I have both the sugar violet and the mulberry which have shimmmer in them and it looks like marketstall stuff. The typical Laura Mercier pacaking plain and simple in a pot which is a nice size it really just doesnt have the texture of the balm that I was expecting. I was unimpressed and didnt find it moisturising. I am an avid lip balm fan and love colourful tints but I expect them to be moisturising and too look natural and minimal and this did nothing that I wanted. It left a stain behind on my lips which was glittery and cheap. I really dilike this stuff and it is overpriced. I do like other products ni this range and find them to be quality but on this occasion this is not like the quality of this brand and I definately expect a lto better for the price I am paying for this.
This is basically like Parma Violets the sweets - which is actually similar to a long standing fragrance that I like by Lacoste called Inspiration. The Lacoste frangrance it actually more mature and has depth in comaparison to this weak and cheap brand by Dequared. She Wood really is not worthy of the amazing reviews I have read - mind you those reviews were just in magazines marketing I guess rather than real reeviews like on this site. This smell is not woody as I would have liked it is slightly more wood green than woody aquatic. I really love the sexy bottle with the wooden lid and the lovely peachy smell uit will look great on the dresser but as a scent it is not woody as one would expect. It is an acholic infested parma violets smell with no layers or interest. Nothing to talk about and I certainly wont repurchase. Will leave in work toilet for during working hours and as a toilet freshner to impress clients. Nice packaging with the wooden lid which goes with the fragrance name.
