Just purchased my second bottle, I cannot live without this product. I thought about trying another product that was less expensive.. but quickly reminded myself of the millions I tried before, disliked and were a waste of my money. My skin is the best it has ever looked.. ever and I am 30!!! My skin is more radiant and if I get a zit it goes away with in 24 MAYBE 48 hours.. MAX!! Maybe I will post a picture of my face... we will see :) My 10 year old daughter also uses this product because she is already getting acne and it works great on her, not to harsh for her young, sensitive skin. (and Yes, her skin is sensitive, she can't even leave sunscreen on overnight with out developing a rash)
Let me start with my only complaint, I wish there was an easy way to store my clarisonic upright so it can dry... otherwise I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Clarisonic! Didn't know what I was missing until I used this! I really notice how much I love it when I forget to bring it on a trip, or my daughter forgot to put it on the charger and its dead, my skin feels so much cleaner, does great at getting all the dead skin cells off. Also people always comment on how good my skin looks now.
Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Oil Free

LOVE! I wear the color Bisque. It lasts all day, It's transfer resistant and unlike other I do not feel my face looks oily when wearing it. I think my skin look really good when I wear this. I put it on with my fingers, but I think it can be a little hard to apply, I have found that it is much easier if I put it on RIGHT AFTER washing my face and putting on my serum.. or within 5 minutes. Anyways.. I love this stuff, I am excited to try more LM products!
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

Recently found out my favorite face wash has been discontinued, so In search of a new fav I decided to try this as one of my deluxe samples at Sephora. I have used it the past 3 days and I think I'm ready to never use it again! Pros: Smells Awesome! (smells like Aveda products), and my face feels really soft after using it. Cons:Makes me break out!! Yuck, I have had gross huge whiteheads every morning when waking up since trying this stuff. Also It doesn't remove my eye make up at all, and I have pretty much only had a little regular mascara on the past couple days.. not impressed since they claim its removes makeup. I'll never purchase this, and I will never recommend it. I probably won't be trying anything else from this brand all together.
I have the 15% Serum, but there is no review spot for it.. I like it. I use it morning and night. Great if you feel a zit coming on.. generally gets rid of it before morning, or at least makes it alot smaller. I haven't noticed if it does much for wrinkles, but it is healing and makes your skin glow. Sometimes it makes my skin look greasy, so just keep some powder near by. But Better to be shiny than dried out and flaky in my opinion.
Moisturizers -Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford - Night Fluide

My review is for the whole line, not sure which product to put it under but I will put it under the night time moisturizer since that is probably the product I hated most. First off Let me say My Mom LOVES this line! (She is 52, Fair skin, and pretty much no wrinkles), I tried it one night at her house and I liked it, so probably a month later I ran out of my stuff and decided to give it a shot per here coaxing. She also told me one day she called and said she was out of her cleanser (altho it wasnt time yet) and the lady just sent her a free one.. so thats pretty cool I guess. As for me, the line turned out to be VERY drying, it makes my skin itch like all the moisture is being sucked out, even the chest and neck cream is overly drying. I ended up breaking out pretty bad ( I think lack of moisture), and it took me a good month to take control again, the only pro.. i did notice my pores were smaller, really small.. probably the best ever, but for the way it made my skin feel and look otherwise, it just wasn't worth it. I have tried the night cream here and there since, and I have regretted it every time. I just hate the way it makes my skin feel. Bad product for me, but my mom loves it.. so I don't think it is a scam (minus the whole auto ship/infomercial part).. it just depends on your skin. Oh and I use the eye cream time to time.. but I don't know what it is suppose to do, but it doesn't really do anything.. I guess I just *hope* next time I will notice something :) (fyi, I'm 28 and love the sun, I have been going to tanning beds since I was 14. blah blah blah, i know its bad, but I am just saying this so people have an idea of what my skin is like, and to know if it may have a similar reaction as them)
Moisturizers -Clinique - Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20

Got this stuff as gift with purchase, its HORRIBLE! I have dry skin so I love super moisturing stuff, but while this stuff is thick it reminds me of the thickest most nasty sunscreen ever (scent included). It also makes me break out. I retried it the other day, and sure enough the next day I was totally broken out.. ick! Makes my skin feel dirty and not smooth.
Shampoo -L'Oreal - Professionnel Absolut Repair shampoo
missamerika67 12/15/2010 3:49:00 PM
I ABSOLUTly LOVE THIS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER! Recently I bought the Pink Kerastase shampoo and condish, because my stylist always uses them on my hair and it looks awesome.. (of course she uses other styling products) , so in need of S&C i splurged. Ick! Worst ever, it made my hair feel like straw! So I exchanged it and got the L'oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Shampoo and Conditioner instead. Honestly I probably would have NEVER even looked at this line because it is by L'oreal but Boy am I glad I did, this stuff is amazing! Pros: Makes Hair Super Soft and shiny, feels moisturized and healthy but not heavy. Cons: Price , made by L'oreal (not that I have anything against L'oreal, I just dislike L'oreal is also a drugstore brand.. which makes me think less of them as a salon brand) Ok.. so my pro list isnt very big, and alot of products do the same, but there is something diffrent about this one that I just can't explain. Every time I am using it in the show I think "Wow this stuff is awesome" lol, wierd right?! I guess I have never had a s&c alone make my hair feel so heathy. Just to give you an idea of the kinds of S&P i have or have recently had are: Alterna Caviar for Blondes, Alterna Hemp Repair (yellow bottle), Redken (the copper colored bottle for super dry hair), Redken Extreem Conditioner only, TiGi Bed Head Some like it Hot (which smells amazing) , Biolage Dry & Damaged.. thats all i can think of now, but this one tops them all.. Honestly. I just hope my husband doesnt start using it think that it is some cheap kind from target since it is Loreal, but then again I can't tell him I just spent that much on hair stuff 2 weeks before Christmas :) opps. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff from this line!
Tinted Moisturizer -Bobbi Brown - Tinted Moisturizer [REFORMULATED]
missamerika67 10/11/2010 4:56:00 PM
Decided to switch it up from my usual Clinique Almost Make-Up, after one day of wear I went back and exchanged it! This product would be ok for the weekends, but far too expensive for a weekend only makeup. No Coverage... really it is Tinted Lotion.. but leaves no pigment. Have you ever put on lotion (usually I find on my legs this happens) and then you look whiter than you actually are? I feel like this product would be for a person who needs lotion for their face but feels like that happens with white lotion, so then they would use this lotion. Does that make any sense? Dispite no coverage (or so I felt), I found as the day progressed it wore like a heavy foundation.. and would both melt and transfer to things like Clothes or your hand if you touched your face... EWWW! For $50, I'll pass and stick with my Amazing $19.00 Clinique almost makeup :) I expected so much more from bobbi brown ....
I randomly bought this one day because I was going to go work out but I forgot my facewash at home and didn't feel like running home 1st. At 1st I noticed my face felt a little tight (borderline dry), that night I got home an looked up the reveiews on makeupalley, I really wasn't impressed when I read them, thinking maybe it might make me break out.. like others had said. i have been using it for a month now and Actually it has made my skin super soft and I LOVE IT!! I don't think I have broke out at all from it!! My only complaint is that the scent is a little intense.. It smells good, but far too strong of a scent for my face, and it tastes pretty gross if you get it in your mouth... but not gonna stop me from using it...
Cleansers -The Body Shop - Vitamin C Cleansing Face Polish
missamerika67 9/28/2009 9:36:00 PM
I luv this stuff! I bought it at an Airport on my way back from San Diego, my skin felt soo disgusting from all the flying, the sun, the sand, drinking, and of course the always great hotel water... I just needed to wash my face between flights! I like the smell, I love that it exfoliates, and I like that there is vitamin c in it! I have been using it since June, I just ran out and repurchased 2 more bottles this past weekend... since of course it was buy 2 get 1 free. (so I got 2 of this, and 1 of the moisturizer... which I also like) I would say I have mostly dry skin due to tanning, and I also break out easily, haven't had any problems with this stuff. I tell everyone about this stuff, it's AWESOME. :)
I love this stuff. 2 Things I hate about my lips are... they'er not very pigmented so I can't get away with just clear gloss, and 2 they are very sensitive! This stuff is awesome because it's very natural looking & doesn't make my lips itch or swell at all!!! One of these days I will post a picture with/ without the lipgoss on. :)
I love this color. Inside it is hard to see that it has shimmer, but once you get outside this color is AWESOME! Definitely can't wait to wear it to the beach! Although... I feel it's not very shiny, so It for sure needs a top coat to bring out the shimmer. I also purchase the Perfectly Bronzed from the new 09 line, used it on my 6 year olds toes... can't wait to test it out on me. :)
Love it, I use to only wear Aveda Liquid Power (which is more powdery than liquid... just not as dry as powder), but then I switched to this... Not really sure why I switched (maybe I tried a Tinted Moisturizer and liked it). But I haven't gone back! Not to mention it is pretty inexpensive compaired to so many other foundations out there. Anyways... I agree with everything every good review says about the product, so No need to go On!
Moisturizers -Mary Kay - Intense Moisturizing Cream
missamerika67 2/2/2009 10:02:00 PM
I started using the Mary Kay Timewise system this past spring, and have loved it so far. Unfortunately the moisturize just wasn't heavy enough for the dry winter, so I decided to try this stuff at night. I really had High hopes, since I love my timewise stuff so much more than I anticipated... but this stuff stinks! Its so hard to spread on my face.... I almost feel like I am putting Vaseline on my face or something, and I think it has made me break out a little more. Not to mention, the ingredients weren't very Impressive (guess I should have looked before I purchased). I recommend Lancome Night Time Moisturizer (i forgot the exact name), but it comes in a blue jar, goes on smooth... and has a light scent that is suppose to help calm you so you can fall asleep. But definitely strong enough for winter... and light enough for humid summer nights!
