Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set

There is probably nothing I can say about these brushes that haven't already been said before. They are incredibly soft, work well with products, do not shed, are made from cruelty free hairs, are made from sustainable resources, good quality, well made, do not shed after washing, remains soft after washing, and completely affordable. What more can you ask for? I don't think there are many more positives that I can add to this list, as all the good points i can think of are already listed! Must haves, hands down

Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - New Flat Top Brush

There is nothing i can say about this brush that someone has already said. Although i stopped using Everyday Minerals because it caused me to break out, I still use this brush to buff on my finishing powders. It gives the perfect finish and buffs on the the product smoothly and evenly (and it picks up the right amount of product). And although many people before me have raved about it already, im just going to add to the rave reviews: this brush is the softest brush that has ever touched my face (comparable to my Body Shop Kabuki and Ecotool brushes) I'm so in love with this brush I bought a second one! I never want to live without it! Best of all, it's made of sustainable materials and contains no animal products, meaning they are cruelty free brushes!

Powder -Sephora - Sephora Sculpting Disk
rated 3 of 5

I love the idea of a sculpting disk, but unfortunately this wasn't the greatest product for me. Like I said before, I love the idea of one huge product with contouring and highlighting shades, as well as a base all in one. However, I am not a fan of having shimmer in my highlighting and contouring products: I prefer them to be more of a matte finish. I found that the bronzer turned into a slightly pinkish color on my skin while the highlighting powder was more shimmer than highlight. However, since my skin tone is darker than the base color, I use it as my highlight color since it is a matte shade. I do love sephora's individual bronzers, as they are a matte finish and provide a very natural look. They are great for contouring as well as bronzing, although i use it mostly for contouring as it gives a very natural look (you can barely tell that its there). Right now, unitl i can find a better way to apply the highlighting and contouring powders, i'll only be using the base shade. Great idea for a product though, and a good amount of product for the price that you pay. It also has a great smell to it!

Powder -Everyday Minerals - foundation semi-matte formula
rated 3 of 5

I initially loved this product. I got it in golden medium and medium olive; both of which fit my suited my skintone perfectly. It also gave good coverage and a good finish. The only thing was that t product caused me to break out. I have fairly good skin and have used a variety of foundations without breaking out. I've never really had problems with any makeup products and am not one to break out normally. So naturally, I don't know what ingredient in this product made me break out. I would continue using it if it didn't cause me to break out because I I truly think its a great product well worth buying/trying. But unfortunately, for now, its back to the standby makeup bag for now.

Tinted Moisturizer -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer--Sunkissed
rated 3 of 5

I really wanted to love this product after hearing that it became everyone's HG tinted moisturizer post purchase. It seemed to be the perfect product too: wildly affordable, good color matching, good compact packaging, and good coverage. What I love about this product is the fact that the packaging is really small and compact (great for traveling), that it matches my skin tone perfectly, and that it is so affordable for a substantial amount of product. What i don't like about this product however, is the consistency. I find it to be too thick for my liking, and I also find that it dries much too quickly. The coverage is more than a TM, more like a very sheer coverage foundation, but even so, I find it an odd combination that it is so thick, dries so quickly, yet covers so little. (Though I think the thick consistency is what I dislike most about this product) The finish is also very matte. I think building up this product for coverage would make one look very cakey. It lacks the dewy/luminizing finish I look for in my tinted moisturizers. I'm going back to my Smashbox Tinted Moisturizer which sadly is about 7 times the price of this product, but works alot better for me. I would recommend this product for those who don't mind the matte finish and thick consistency. This product would be great for you!

Tinted Moisturizer -Sephora - Tinted Moisturizer
rated 2 of 5

I initially really liked this product, but the more I used it, the more I disliked it. First off, it has a very strong smell of sunscreen (or something like sunscreen: very pungent and not very pleasant at all). It also does not have the right undertone for me. I am an NC30-35 with warm, yellow undertones and as this TM (in neutral) does not match my skintone, I doubt it would match anyone with an NW30-35 skintone with cool, pinkish undertones either. The color comes out to be very orange and artificial. Also, this product is very oily and does not provide that dewy, luminizing finish i look for in a TM. I guess i won't be using this or re-purchasing this after all. I must say, it would be a great face paint for Halloween, just because it is so orange!
